AIM LOG: Syrius Lionwing & _ p a o cx
The little cat was lost, as usual. Her tan and chocolate brown hide hid her well not he savannah, but here, the land was a hash of greys and stones,s he stood out like a small but very sore thumb. Bright golden eyes surveyed the world ahead and found nothing but more grey stone and shadows. Where on earth she was, she wasn't sure, she had been heading for the mountains, but she couldn't see them any more, all she could see was more darkness, more shadows and more dull horizon. This was the worst type of lost that was for sure. Servals clearly had little to no sense of directions he decided to her self, no sense of direction at all.
Tarik had been atop a boulder when he caught sight of a peculiar shape moving through the shadows. Feeling a tug of curiosity pulling him toward whatever it was, Tarik followed after with a small smile on his maw. Most of the time he was the one being followed by a mortal, but it seemed things were reversed this time around. It was pretty fun, whether he'd admit it or not, trying to run after this thing without getting caught. Not that he was scared, actually, but if he was caught the chase would probably end. He'd probably have to explain himself, and while he didn't really mind company anymore he just...didn't feel like talking at the moment.
Nekobasu stopped mid step, her ears twitching and her whiskers feeling out "It's weird here pa." The little cat whispers, flickering her tail in a twitchy irritating manner. "I'm not really sure I like it." She sighs "how do we get out of here?" From the top of the cats head
Another voice sounded, small, but rough, a males voice "i unno you dun got us lost in ere in ha first place lass, ye'll ave. at foller your feet to thay get out again."
The servile sighs and takes another step in to the shadowy unknown world, the fur not he back of her neck standing on end, this was one place she didn't want to explore, she wanted to be back out int he sun already!
The diety watched the seval curiously, a bit confused when it spoke seemingly to no one. It probably wasn't strange to run into someone who was a bit out of it. Heck, he'd been one of them once before. But when she suddenly kept on moving it seemed she'd gotten a reply from someone. Or...something? Tarik raised a brow, waiting a few moments before following after her once again. "What the hell?" he muttered, clearly confused. He squinted his eyes to see if there was someone moving with the serval, but after more than a minute of looking he could tell that she was alone. An uneasy feeling was creeping up on him, though he didn't want to acknowledge it. Best stay ignorant to the end, especially when it meant that he may possibly be dealing with someone who was insane. Or at the very least, meantally unstable. It looked that way anyway.
A fork opened up in the road ahead and the tawny coloured feline sat and looked from left to right. "Okay vote, left or right." She spoke once again her bright yellow lamp like eyes casting down both paths.
"left." the gruff voice came, "right" a more feminine voice answers, then finally "leftleft" two younger smaller voices.
"left it is then, sorry ma." The servile smiles and gets to her paws again taking the left path.
"I bet we turn back." The small female voice came and upon the serials head a small grey patch appeared for only a second before vanishing in to the tawny fur again.
Tarik, now unable to keep the curiosity down, bounded after the serval, landing quietly just above her on top of yet another stone. "You there," he said in a rather boom-y voice, though he didnt' really mean to sound intimidating or anything of the sort. "I've had my eye on you for a while now," he continued, voice toning down to a more conversational one. "And I've kind of noticed you talking to yourself. Are you alright?"
The diety swiftly made his way down to the serval, taking a seat nearby. "I'm Tarik, by the way." He hoped that would keep her from running, though even if she did he could catch up easily.
Nekobasu blinked owlishly at the deep blue god, her ears flattened back. "You scared the bajeebus out of me." She raises a paw to her chest and takes a couple of deep breaths. "Oh, hum, I hope i'm not trespassing, i just got lost in this grey place." She smiles a broad cheshire cat like smile dealing with his other question quickly. "Oh no, I wasn't talking to my self I was talking to my family." She turns her gaze upwards where a silver grey mouse now sat, it's eyes as blue as Tarik's coat. "Sorry if I confused you." She whispers, still staring wide eyed at the deep blue god, this was the second god she had met, were gods falling format he sky lately or something?
Tarik made an 'o' with his mouth, though he didn't make a sound. He nodded at the little mouse on top of the serval's head, a small smile on his maw. "I see," he said, a sheepish grin forming on his maw. "Well that clears it up at least." The diety glanced around, noticing for perhaps the first time that this place was very gloomy indeed. "I overheard one of you saying that you're lost?" he asked, as though he were offering his help. He hadn't yet, but he was going to if they wanted it. It was the least he could do to make up for following and then scaring the life out of her simply because he was curious. "I could help fly you out of here if you'd like," he finished, eyes going to the sky to see if it was clear enough to fly. If not, it'd probably be best if they stuck around here. He wouldn't take back his offer though.
Nekobasu gave a nod and a little laugh "I'm very lost yes, I was going to the mountains, I'v never been there before." She purses her lips and looks deeply thoughtful before replying to his kind offer with another question "I'v never flown before, is it fun?" She asks settling down, her paws close together and her tail wrapping around them. four pairs of beady eyes now sat atop the serials head, two pairs blue, two pairs red. "I would love to get back on to the savannah, my fur is starting to feel very cold and my stomach is rumbling, theres nothing to eat in this grey stoney place." she sighs.
Tarik couldn't help but look at the mice atop her head. It was another curious thing, really, considering in a more natural case cats tended to hunt down mice. She happened to have made a family out of them, which was intriguing. He smiled kindly, nodding after taking another look around. "Yeah, I don't think too many things wander into this area. I just happened to hover down her because the sun's nowhere to be seen." The male chuckled. "Well flying has its perks, like most thing. For me it's pretty normal, but for someone who's never flown before it could be fun?" He wasn't really sure how to answer that question since he's been able to fly for most of his life, and he'd never offered to fly anyone anywhere before.
The little cat pursed her lips and looked deeply thoughtful, her golden dishplate eyes rested on the deep blue god before she gave a swift nod. "If you could get us back to the savannah sir we'd be much appreciate of your kindness, maybe we could fetch you something to eat in thanks?" She smiles widely once again, wondering how this was going to work, would he carry her or, well what? She missed the heat of the open plains though so she was willing to do just about anything to get out of here, even fly apparently.
"I could, but there's no need to repay me," he said, standing and turning around so his back was now facing her. "I don't need to eat anyway, plus you said you're hungry so you'd best keep that food for yourself." There was no doubt he was a kind lion at heart, though most of the time he busied himself with hiding that fact from everyone else. "It'll be pretty cold on my back, mind you, but it's probably the safest place while we're up in the air. Still up for it?" Tarik quickly glanced at her tiny family, worried for their safety moreso than hers. She was large enough to fit snugly between where his wings sprouted, but they weren't as lucky.
The tawny servile gave a nod and leapt up on to Tariks back with a swift bound landing between his shoulder blades and hunkering down there. "I half think I should close my eyes, but I don't want to miss anything." She laughs quietly, the mice, gone from her head nestled in her thick neck fur. Taking a deep breath she smiles at Tarik "We owe you a great debt, if theres anything me and my family can do for you, don't hesitate to ask, even in the future, no doubt, you can find us." She smile,s her paws tightening slightly in anticipation of take off.
Tarik nodded, steadying himself as he accustomed himself to the added weight, though it really wasn't all that much. "Alright, here we go." With that Tarik lifted easily off the ground, not bothering to run to get a better start. He hovered there for a minute to let the serval get used to the feeling, then he quickly made his way toward the sky, careful not to get too high. Most mortals probably weren't used to the feeling of slightly lacking oxygen.
It took only fifteen minutes to find the savannah, and another fifteen to make his way over and land among the tall grass. "Is this place okay?" he asked, looking around to make sure there was no one else in sight.
Having flown so high she could almost touch the clouds, nekobasu felt awed at the power the male god possessed, he must feel wonderful, or at least that was what she felt. Her fur was cool by the time they landed but only on the tips, the air so high having 'frosted' her fur.
Leaping down from his back, the little serval sighed happily, looking up at the blue god, her fur warming almost instantly in the savannah sunshine. "Yes, thank you." She smiles an appreciative smile, her golden eyes grinning. "You have helped us very much sir, I am forever in your debt." Turing her gaze upon the bright golden savannah the little cat turned away from the ice god. "Thankyou, and remember should you ever need us, we will be around." She beams widely and bounds off through the tall grasses her fur once again warming. It was so good to be out of that dark cold place, she would be more careful to stick to the warm places from now on.
Tarik's gaze followed after the serval once she'd bounded off with her little family. He was glad to help, though if he'd been any other mood he probably would've left her to wander around in that gloomy place for who knows how much longer before she made it out. Once she was much farther away Tarik began to hover once more, still deciding where it was he'd be going this time around. When he'd made up his mind to head back to the haven, he glanced back to see if he'd spot the little serval to wave one more goodbye. After a minute of looking he shrugged off the urge to fly around and look for her, instead flying off toward the wintery home.
