I noticed today that we have many threads of who is the best Jedi or Sith. This got me thinking; surely if there is a best, there must be a worst, right? Don't people ones down simply because you don't like them. I was to hear reasons why they fail epically.
This should test some people's Star Wars knowledge. Dazzle me, Guild.

Gotta toss my vote for Worst Sith to Anakin Skywalker (pre-Vader suit) because he had the worst excuse to go to the Dark Side: trying to save Padme from an event that may or may not have occurred in the first place had he not gone over. I can understand wanting power, but c'mon, he Force Pimp Slaps her practically (contradictory to what he was trying to do for her) which made no sense.
As for Worst Jedi, that's a tough one. If you wanna go technical, Kyle Katarn, because he followed more Gray-oriented ideology. He wasn't always the Teacher at the Academy, and he did perform some acts even he wasn't proud of as a Jedi.

im gonna have to say luke skywalker. He failed in his lessons everytime and he could never wina duel. he got lucky that his daddy saved his a**. He was a great pilot but the force was not with him

He was a great pilot but the force was not with him Blasphemy! Luke is far from being the worst Jedi, he single-handedly resurrected the Jedi from the ground up, helped bring balance to the force, and he eventually even killed good ol' Palpy without his Daddy's aide. Also, Luke would have killed both Vader and Palpatine if he had he would have been a weaker man. He showed that he was a true Jedi and did strike down a defenseless oppenent. Anyway, I think the worst Sith of all time was Rosh Penin. He was such a baby and whined about not getting enough attention and this and that. He was just like Gabriel Nowak (Rainbow Six Reference for the win) and went evil because he didn't get to do what he wanted. It was so pathetic it made me sick. xD I'll get back to you guys on the worst Jedi, that one is a tough one.

Almost every character in the Jedi Academy games. Running around as Jay-f** McLadyvoice while b***h Whinepenin used HAX on you was so ******** annoying. Gameplay was good though.

Worst sith... Whos that fat twilek from the Legacy Comics that Krath kills in the first few pages? Yeah he is useless.....
As for a Jedi that sucketh, Any of the three that Palpatine killed when they went to apprehend him, Really Jedi Masters? You all die within 10 seconds yeah thats mighty cool.

Quite possibly the worst Dark Jedi or Sith, cause he thought he was was Brakiss, the leader of the Shadow Academy. His only job was to train Dark Jedi and he was brought down by his own student Zekk. Who turned around and became a very powerful Jedi. Brakiss dueled Luke and lost miserably, fled and then dueled him again, only to be soundly defeated once again.
