Venus had been wanted to find a safe place to live with her kittens since they were born. And it just so happened that Schmee had always kept Venus safe and fed, even though she was in a new relationship with Satine. The time had come the weather would be turning cold soon and no mother would want to make her babies live outdoors if they had a choice.
Venus reapplied her make up and fixed her hair then smoothed out her thin tunic and approached the house. Hopefully she would catch Schmee and Satine in a good mood. "Hello" She called out, "Is anyone home? I'm interested in joining your territory."

(I'll do this as after the kittens are taken and their in the process of getting them back. Sound ok?)
Satine came to the balcony when she heard Venus out there on the ground and smiled weakly. "Oh hello Venus. Please come up and we'd be happy to talk about you joining. Always looking for new people." she said with a smile. She hadn't met the pretty female before but knew of her from all of Schmee's stories that happened before they were together. She looked around sadly and then walked back in to the room as she waited for Venus to come up. She hadn't been doing well lately as she and Schmee were trying to track down their babies. she had her hair up and it looked quite a mess. The room was neat but she looked rather run down and sad. Very unlike her self as she fingered her knew Katana at her side.

Venus seemed to glide up to the balcony her feet moved so swiftly and softly it was like she barely made contact with the ground.
"Ms Satine, thank you for inviting me in." She did a quick glance around for Schmee, but she wasn't there, must be out looking for the kittens. "I'm sorry if this is a bad time but I want my kids to have a warm place this winter and Schmee told me to come by before..." The thought of humans stealing babies really raised Venus' fur. "Those nasty humans got my kittens, but Schmee helped to get them all back, I'm absolutely sure you both will find them soon." Venus looked around the room and smiled. "You have a lovely place for them to come back home too. I am living in a crawl space right now."
"Schmee is different since she met you. I was jealous of you at first, felt like you had stolen my best friend, my knight ...but you are good for her. When she came to my place before the kittens were gone, she was glowing and she loves you so much. I've never seen her more proud. She will find the kittens I'm sure. You will be a family again."
She sat down, trying not to feel awkward, but perhaps she had chosen a bad time to come by. "If you...If this is a bad time to talk I can come back later. I know how stressful not knowing where your babies are can be."

Satine looked over the other woman, the other woman in Schmees life, her best friend, and smiled. "Oh no please don't worry...I...It will be nice to have someone here now. I've been going a little stir crazy." she walked over to her and sat down next to her. "What can i help you with? Are you in danger? I can help you out, i know that Schmee wouldn't be happy with me if i didn't offer to help her friend. And a friend of hers isa friend of mine."She blushed softly at what Venus had said about how Schmee acted around her and felt towards her. She loved knowing that others could tell how she had changed her Schmee! Satine felt her heart swell as she thought about her Knight in shining armor and smiled. Schmee would be back in a day to take a break and let Satine try for two more days to look. One stayed here to keep an eye out for them finding their way home.

Venus took a breath, who it have been any easier if Schmee was here. She had solely depended upon Schmee when she was first freed. That seemed like ages ago now, but she still needed help, she couldn't make it on her own
"I was hopeing, I could join your territory, it's getting colder out there and my kittens..." She hated bring up her own childern when Satine was without hers. "I want better for them. I want them to be safe and warm." If it wasn't for her kittens she wouldn't have asked yet. "I'm not good at much....Schmee can tell you that, I think it kinda bothered her that i never really learned how to fight. But My Apollo, her is a wondered, he isn't around as mush as I'd like and sadly I can't always count on him to be there when things go bad. But I know Schmee is always reliable." even as angry as Schmee seemed at Venus sometimes, she still brought her food or defended her honer. "I may rely on her to much, but I can't let my children be shivering all night....I'll do what ever you need me to do."

Satine looked at Schmees friend and nodded at her. "I understand. If i could have kept...kept my kids safe...Then i would...I'd be a better mother like you are." She said as she covered her mouth with her hand and gasped as she fought back tears. She had told Schmee that she would try to stop crying. She had been doing so much of it. She looked at her lap and then looked at Venus. "It would be horrible of me to turn you down. I know Schmee would want you here. So of course i'd want you here too! And the kittens are more then welcome. This place has so many rooms that you all could take one and it would be just fine." She said as she reached out and gave Venus a hug. "I would love to not be alone in this house right now...while the kittens are out there having who knows what happen to them..." she said as she fought back the tears again.

"Oh Satine, don't think me any better a mother then you are, I lost my kittens as well, It was when Apollo was gone, I was so beside myself I couldn't even move to look for them, I felt I was a failure and awful mother, but I didn't know what to do or where to start. Schmee found them, She brought all four home, Marrie talked about her hero 'Smee' for ages." Venus hugged Satine then took hand "I know Schmee will not give up till she finds you kittens, she puts all her heart in every thing she does. And I would be honored to be your friend."
