The female had spied the male in the warren. The one that was the cause of the little ones padding around. It was rather nerve racking. He hadn't done a thing to help her with them! Not to mention she'd seen him flirting with a few other females. What was she then?
Well completely head over pawpads regaurdless. She just wasn't going to let him go so easily. Oh no. She was going to tempt him to be with her! He would have to deal with that until he changed her away. Who ever said a vixen was the seducer of the forest hadn't meet a jealous female rabbit.
With her nose in the air she pranced by the sly devil to get herself a drink. She mad sure to hold her head high and give him just a passing glance.

It was a lovely day, really. There were rabbits all along the side of the down, and it seemed like a peaceful day. He was near the base of this hill, searching out flayrah a bit away from the typical feeding spots. He'd just stuck his nose into some clover when a familiar sight passed his way. He sat up curiously to watch Cullenda pass by him without so much as a word. His ear flicked in her direction as she continued on her way, looking after her as she left. He wondered what that was all about as he watched for a few minutes more before focusing again on his newfound clover. She was still just as lovely as ever, and looked no worse for the wear of having that litter. He'd seen them on the Down and had noted at the time that they were probably the reason he hadn't seen much of the doe. He wondered briefly who fathered them as he nibbled.
She'd seemed rather... something. He couldn't put his paw on it. Perhaps miffed? Maybe she was angry at him. After all, she'd barely looked his way as she continued on. Had she forgotten him? He found that unlikely, as he hadn't forgotten her. Well, what then?
He sat up again, not really tasting the clover much anyway. Looking behind him where she'd gone, he thought about going after her. She really was a lovely doe. And she really did seem just as interesting as ever.
It wasn't long before he was hopping after her, curious and somewhat confused.
