So, I'm looking to get a bit of practice with my pencil and pen. I want to do busts and headshots. I don't want to do fullbodies. I do however, want to read awesome fics about drow and elves. so basically my offer is this. Show me an in character post of one of your drow or elven characters in this thread, and If I think your post is awesome, I may draw you fanart. I'm also open to bribes. So tell me what you think art like the samples below is worth, and I may be willing to do art for you depending on what you offer. I only want to do PENCIL AND INK BUSTS. If you want color, that'll cost you lots, or you'd better have a horribly impressive drow fic. If you want half-body or knee ups, that'll cost you lots too.

The drowess stood her ground as the demon stalked towards her. Her vipers reared and snapped as he approached their mistress. Ulvira's eyes narrowed, she opened her mouth to respond but was cut off when Geist suddenly jerked his hand out and began to choke her. Truly she had seen this coming, demons were so predictable, she thought as his hand tightened around her slender neck.
She was slammed against the wall. A sharp pain shot up her back, but the woman did not flinch. Instead she glared down at the demon, her eyes narrowed dangerously, and a glow that had nothing to do with viewing into the infared spectrum had returned to her orbs. No male would dare touch a female in such a way, especially a matron mother, if they had done so they would have been tortured until death. So was the way of the drow, however Geist was not of this world and could not understand that. Even though Ulvira new this she still loathed being handled in such a manner. She blinked away the dots that appeared in her vision as he slammed her head against the wall, and gnashed her teeth together.
Her normally impassive face turned into one of pure outrage, her face twisted into a snarl as she stared daggers back at the demon as he licked the side of her face. Oh how she wanted to sink her teeth into his tongue and tear it out of his wretched mouth.
But then a dark smirk spread across her face, and she choked out a laugh. The dark elf lowered herself gently to the floor as Geist's hold let go. She slowly rolled her head around, popping her neck. A burst of maniacle laughter escaped her lips. Ulvira had no soul to give, it belonged to Lolth.
The laugher echoed throughout the room, and as it faded defening silence fell upon her ears. She glanced at all those she had summoned in the room. Nobles, commoners, and slaves had all fallen silent. They didn't know what to think, laughter was unbecoming of Ulvira. She saw the looks of doubt etched upon their faces. They doubted her ability....they doubted her.
Her face settled back into her normal scowl as she began to pace. Ulvira remained silent as Geist carried on. He wasn't much different from the other ones, perhaps better looking, but in the end very much the same. Demons liked to hear themselves talk, and to interrupt would be rude, and a death sentence, so she waited patiently for him to finish. "Tsk, tsk, such a filthy mouth. Didn't your mother teach you any manners? Or are only derogatory comments is all that your intelligence can span?" She stopped her pacing and ran her fingers along the back of one of her vipers. Ulvira held up her hand, palm facing Geist, silencing any spews he had in mind. She saw the hateful glare he gave her in return, daring to silence him. "As interested as I am to hear what you have to say, I didn't summon you here to throw insults at each other, nor to listen to your useless bantering. So sorry to dissapoint." Her face remained in the hateful scowl, not matching her sarcasm.
Once again she resumed her pacing, glancing at the crowd. Their faces were stunned indeed. A purple glow from the corner of her eye caught the matron's attention, her head turned slightly to look upon the source from where it was coming.
Her hateful glare fell upon Vornicka, an arched brow raised at the sight. She then turned her attention back to Geist, still pacing. Her thin, bone white hair seemed to float behind her as she did so.
Ulvira had been studying the demon the whole while, and she was quite impressed by his armor. Her crimson orbs met Geist's once more, demanding his attention. "The Dark Mother has given me this..necklace. It was given to me for summoning you." She pressumed the demon knew who she spoke of, as Lolth was quite "popular" among demons, and if he didn't, she would let him remain ignorant. "Lolth wishes for my house to be purged of weakness, to defy what the Spider Queen desires is to invoke her eternal wrath." She spoke more to Vornicka than to Geist, she dared the woman to try and leave. Her nose wrinkled in disgust then, glaring at all of those who had tried to escape earlier. Cowards, all of them, they would die.
"You have been summoned to do the purging." She spoke directly to Geist then. "You may do whatever you choose with the cowards." She held out her arm to thousands that stood behind her. Ulvira caught the gleam in the demons eye at her words. "However..." she drawled, "You may only take those that have been marked by the Spider Queen."
Her flesh prickeld as she felt another energy enter the room. The hissing by her side only confirmed her suspicians. Geist was summoning another demon. This was not unusual, more or less annoying. Her gaze shifted down to the pentagram, sparkling with interest as the creature arose. Her eyes fell upon the unnatural beauty, immediatly recognizing it for what it was. "A succubus? Interesting..." She murmured.

Veldrin the Shadow Lurking in the shadows, in a crevasse between two cargo crates, Veldrin Hun'afin tries not to gag at the smell of rancid, decomposing fish on the docks as he waits for the shipment of contraband that is destined for the Shadow Thieves guild to arrive. Several hours later, after the sun had finally dipped below the horizon, he is finally able to emerge, although he still cannot drop the cowl that hides his crimson eyes and jet black skin from the world. "You're late," Veldrin growled at his contact. "The Shadow Thieves are not ones whose patience is to be tested. Now, where are the goods, so I can get out of this stinking cesspool of a town." "Well," the contact replied sheepishly, "the guards at the port authority sort of...um...confiscated them." "Hmph," the Drow snorted in irritation, "it looks like I'm going to have to clean up your mess, now doesn't it. This one's gonna cost you big time, because the next guard rotation isn't until sunrise." Well, it ain't easy bein' Drow. Under the cover of darkness, with the salty ocean wind at his back, Veldrin approached the Port Authority complex. While performing a bit of surveillance, he spotted one of the P.A's minor officials leaving the building. After "interrogating" the desk jockey, Veldrin was finally able to extract the location of the Shadow Thieves' shipment. Well, getting the information was the easy part, the dark elf thought to himself, now the fun begins. The dark elf cast a sleep spell on the guards, sending them into dreamland before his dagger severed their carotid arteries. After taking great care to prop up the corpses so that their comrades wouldn't immediately notice the fact that they are no longer among the living, Veldrin takes to the shadows to slip into the main warehouse. Judging by how stupid those rivvil were, this might just be a piece of cake. Dealing with the Shadowmaster when I get back to good ol' Athkatla, however, will be a different story altogether.Inside the warehouse, there seemed to be hundreds of shelves, each holding about 200 massive shipping crates. There were 4 four-man patrols roaming the aisles. As one of the patrols approached the Drow's hiding place, a shadow copy was all it took to lure them into a trap, and 4 blow darts coated with a potent, fast acting paralytic poison to remove them from the equation. After 3 more similar ambushes, only one further obstacle stood between Veldrin and his objective...getting the crate down and out of the warehouse before the effects of the poison wore off, although that wouldn't be happening for about six hours. Veldrin lowered the precious cargo from its resting place on the top of the sixth shelf in the fourth aisle, and lugged the heavy crate to the warehouse door, where he gave the signal for his contact to bring in the wagon, so he could load the container and get out of town before that accursed ball of fire could rise into the sky.

As Aunthrae stepped down from her floating disk, she cast an uneasy gaze toward the city. The high priestess had relocated herself to view the other houses with more ease at the top of Rylinndar's great gates. Her striking eyes traveled over each house in detail. All seemed just as they had left it until her eyes landed on the House of Gaundroth. It's once proud stalagmite pillars lay collapsed to the ground in pieces. Aunthrae wondered what could have be fallen the once proud house so quickly. She silently dreaded informing the Matron, not knowing what kind of mood the news would put her in.
With a shrug, Aunthrae continued on down the wall enjoying the soft cries of agony that escaped the unlucky prisoners hanging from the hooks below. It had been far to long since she had any time to simply revel in other's pain. A near broken whimper caused her to halt and peer over the columns edge. Her curvy form leaned over the marble wall while her glossy silver curls brushed against her face. She gazed at the lone trembling male with interest. Using one of her elegant hands to prop her head up, she stared at the water running down his cheeks with a soft smile on her lips. Entranced, the drowess stood silent, watching as the sniveling man tried to squirm into a more comfortable position. A wrong jerk on his part caused one of the silver hooks to pull a large chunk of his skin open and he screamed out in agony. The sound echoed off the walls mingling with the other cries of terror. It was music born of pain and it intensified Aunthrae's blood lust.
An appreciative chuckle escaped her bow lips, and she found herself staring at angry red eyes mixed with pain and hatred. Surprised that the male had even heard her over the noise, Aunthrae found herself frowning. "Did we not teach you better respect for your superiors?" She called down to him, her voice radiating her displeasure. Still he dared to continue to glare at her even in his weakened state. She could see that this man thought she could not reach him or possibly cause him anymore pain then what he was already experiencing. Apparently, they had never had the pleasure of meeting.
With a silent smile she reached for her belt that held the hilt of one of her whips. She pulled slightly and the two snake heads quickly uncoiled from around her waist to loom above her shoulders. Her normally purple eyes turned crimson as she watched the expression on the foolish man's face, his red eyes widen in pure open fear. She guessed he noticed the family resemblance now. With new glee, Aunthrae turned and hissed commands to her pets. The dark gray vipers rubbed their scales against her face lovingly before turning to slither down the side of the wall with an agonizingly slow pace. The white headed male started to tremor as the priestess' pets reached him and wrapped around his arms and neck. The smaller of the two vipers came to stare at the man's ugly face while the other stabbed it's fangs into the drow's chest. Once a scream ripped from his mouth the other snake dived down his black throat. The muffled screams sent goose bumps all over Aunthrae's shoulders as she watched his broken body dance.

Here you two go. In the future though, I'd like anyone who posts in character roleplays for their characters to post the character profiles as well.
