As usual, the RP appears to have once again died. Are people wanting a new one, or does the current one just need some propping up?
Discuss:
- Causes of the current death
- Possible changes to fix this RP
- Ideas for a possible new RP
- Anything Main RP related
Note: This isn't a place to slag me off. I know I often become inactive in RPs and drag a few people down with me. This time, I just plan to help and maintain, not play an active character within the RP.

i think the fact that some people have to be in the mood to RP is one of the major factors that contribute as to whether or not the RP will live or totally and completely fail. Plus some of the areas that are available for RP-ing is a factor too. If the location isnt interesting enough i dont think people would want to do it.

The knowledge factor that the rp requires may also be a deterrent. Someone who hasn't read books, or comics wouldn't know about a few things, unless they scour Wookiepedia for tidbits of information, that may or may not be as helpful as once desired.

I think you should totally do a rp Tatooine, it would spruce things up and add more jedi stuff and more sith stuff. Basically add new intresting areas and more rping of jedi and sith! Mustufar and Tatooine forever!!! biggrin

On reasons for the death of the rp, my opinion is:
Too many threads for locations to keep track of
Lack of an actual plot
Lack of anything really engaging to do
I think we need to have some sort of plot and consolidate most of the location threads so people can find each other easily. We should also limit space travel.

Y'know Starwars isnt just about the retarded and skew struggle between the Jedi and the Sith. There is more to it than just lightsabers and force abilities.

When I originally created the RP, my intent was on something free ranging, with a loose plot, where anyone can do whatever the he!! they want in a familiar setting
Evidently, this is not the case
So, I take it the guild would prefer something on a much smaller scale?

Not exactly smaller. (Speaking for myself) But something more distinguishable towards a plot than an open sandbox of ideas, though if a balance could be achieved, that would be great.

I know there's people like me who didn't post in the RP and for my inactivity, I'm sorry. I came in the middle of the RP and I didn't know what to do. But if we're thinking of starting a new one, or boosting up the old one, now might be a good time for me to start posting.
