A favorite for villagers and visitors alike, the Cider House is home to some of the realm's best cider and ale. The lighting is dim, the seating is sparse, and the atmosphere is permanently smoky and jubilant.

NPCs to interact with:
Guillermo, the owner and brewmaster. A cheery, red-faced fellow whose paunch jiggles whenever he laughs (which is a lot), you can find him behind the counter. He knows everything about alcohol, and almost everything about the patrons of his establishment.
Vara, Guillermo's lovely daughter. With ebony hair and smoky eyes, there isn't a fellow in the town who doesn't crave her affection. However, Vara's a bit on the cold side, so she remains unmarried. She's usually seen flitting about, waiting tables.
Ulo, the mysterious man in the corner. Brooding and sullen, he's been rumored to dabble in black arts. He isn't likely to want to talk to you...
Roggan, the village fool. Not well-liked by his peers, or anyone else, this stringy man is clumsy and prone to drunkenness. As you enter he's on his hands and knees. He appears to be looking for something.

((There might be more NPCs that pop up. ninja ))

Leshya'e waved to Ani as she headed over to the games, then entered the Cider House. After the looks she had gotten from the ferryman, she needed a stiff drink to clear her mind of the skeevy feelings. Stepping over someone who was searching the floor, she made her way to the bar. She sat down and signaled to the barman, "One hard cider and a shot of whiskey, please."

Guillermo arches a thick eyebrow at the dark woman seated before him. "Long day?" he guesses, pouring her some cider. "Drink the cider first, don't poison it with whiskey."

Covet smiled brightly, her green eyes trying to take everything in of the little village the caravan had come too. It was so small and quaint, not unlike some of the others they had come across, but there was an excitement in the air that was irresistible. Most everyone seemed to be happy and with the crisp air and changing colors around them, it had to be one of the prettiest places she had ever seen. Listening to Isaiah as he sang on her shoulder, she wandered through the village until she came across the cider house. Smiling broadly as the warm scents of the food it promised inside wafted out and around her, she pushed the door open, unaware that some of her travelling companions were already inside, taking in the warmth the cider house had to offer. Stepping into the warmth, she blinked as she very nearly tripped over someone on the floor. Concern slipped across Covet's dark features and she moved to crouch down beside the man on his hands and knees.

"Are you okay sir?" she asked, tilting her head to the side a little and watching him carefully.

"...lost it..." mutters the man on the floor. "...all over now....'ve lost it..."

((Don't get discouraged, the NPC was created for a specific interaction. :3))

Baptiste enters the tavern and slumps into a chair on the wall. He smiles politely at the lovely woman waiting tables. He could see his way into whiling away an hour or to with her, mm!

"Thank you..." Shy smiled and nodded, "Long? No...but a bit crazy, Yes." Lifting her glass to Guillermo, she took a big sip of the cider from it. "Mmm...Cheers...That was just what I needed."

Covet smiled softly at the man's muttered words and lifted her brows as she started to scan the floor for something that might look out of place.
"What did you lose? I'd like to help you find it if I can," she smiled warmly, turning her green eyes back to him.

Tsura had figured the cider house was the best place to go to find her quest item. If nothing else the owner of the establishment would either own or know who had orchards around here. She'd need to ask said orchard owners for permission to search the grounds for a rotten apple to take back to mama. She pushed her hair out of her face with one hand and opened the door to the cider house with the other.

Mmm it smelled wonderful in here, with a smile on her face Tsura sidestepped around the man on the floor and headed for the bar.

Berit on the other hand was interested in the man on the floor. People did not go on the floor like that! The crimson feathered quail veered away from Tsura's booted feet and over to the man on the floor. She cocked her head to one side and peered at him curiously. What was he doing?

"A glass of cider is always just what the doctor ordered," says Guillermo with a nod, pouring a glass of cider for another patron. "So, what brings you to our fine little town. Ain't often we get outsiders, though we love to have them!" he exclaims with a chuckle.

Guillermo momentarily turns his attention away from Lesh and smiles heartily at Tsura. "Another lovely lady to brighten my doorway! Sit down, lass, have some cider!" He pours her a cup. "Name's Guillermo! What can I do for you?"

"Oh, just passing on through, nothing special...taking a break from the road, conversing with different people...breaking up the monotony, I suppose." Leshya'e took another gulp of the cider. She nodded her head to Tsura, then glanced back at the door to see Covet enter. Turning her head back to her drink, she cocked her head and furrowed her brow, as she eaves-dropped on the man that she had stepped over. What did he say? Maybe I heard him wrong.

Tsura gave the friendly man a grin was she sat " I'm Tsura, tis a pleasure to meet you." The words were both honest and meant to put him at ease before jumping into questioning. " I was wondering if I could ask you where the apples for the cider here came from." As she spoke the woman noted Berit playing on the floor with some distraught looking man, at least he didn't seem bothered by her presence.

"A fine reason to 'ave a stop-over at our 'arvest festival. Fine reason indeed. Mm--pay no mind to Roggan. 'E's just drunk an' lost his head."
