Taylor had long since learned to ride the bike Penny had bought him a few months back. He no longer clipped the front wheels with his long black claws, fell when he took a corner or wobbled at high speeds. Still he was no pro, he couldn't do any tricks or make any jumps and that wasn't acceptable to the pride boy. If Taylor was going to have a bike he wanted to be able to use it to the best of his abilities. Like his sister, the facility child had an all or nothing attitude when it came to doing things.

Hence why Taylor had rode his bike all the way from home to this place;
which offered him the chance to learn some tricks. It hadn't exactly been a short ride but the hybrid boy had decent stamina. it also helped that while the sun was shining and warming his skin there was a decent breeze that helped keep Taylor from over heating. All in all his ride to the Cirque had been quite nice, well aside from having to dodge the odd pine cone on the sidewalk.

If the bi-colour eyed boy's memory served him right this was where Shylock was supposed to live too and that excited Taylor even more. He was curious to see what the other boy had been up too since he'd last seen him. They probably both had a lot to say, though they'd probably have to talk after class so they could pay attention during. Taylor assumed naturally of course that Shylock would be there too, he had a bike after all, if a shared one, and who didn't want to learn tricks.

With plenty of thoughts buzzing through his head the tall boy followed provided signs towards where he was supposed to head once he made it onto the cirque grounds. Clay coloured headwings twitched a little from nerves through the slot that allowed them to poke out of the boy's helmet. The place was a lot bigger than Taylor had imagined it to be.

Nero was being as still as possible so as not to distract Shy from the riding. The betta child was enjoying the ride immensely though and his inky black eyes were wide and shining with excitement. He titled his head a little and his fins rippled when his brother stopped in front of one boy in specific to talk to him.

Taylor grinned at Shylock and then at the boy the other was holding, the finned kid was a lot more colourful than either of them. He was small though and sorta weird looking, Taylor wasn't quite sure what to make of him. " I've been good, School's sort of boring and stuff but otherwise I have a lot of fun." The pride child was more than capable of keeping himself occupied.

"He's cool, where did he come from?" Taylor asked as he spun a peddle with the tips of his claws. He didn't think Nero looked anything like any of the facility children he'd ever seen.

Nero waved to Taylor with a webbed hand, the fish boy noting that like his brother this child had a long tail with spikes at the end.

"Don't remember being a fish" Nero piped up, he knew the story of how he came to be but he still didn't remember being a fish. The boy looked up at his brother and smiled " Papa's tummy is comfy," very squishy and comfy as far as he was concerned.

Taylor stared at Shylock for a minute " A fish exploded?" How did you explode a fish? Or was he a naturally exploding type of fish, could he explode now? Regardless Nero seemed pretty cute even if he was small and couldn't ride a bike by himself.

Nero's head fins rippled under Shylock's touch but the dark skinned boy didn't object.

Taylor was going to have to start investigating this exploding animals into babies thing. It sounded pretty cool and much like the things in his comic books. Though Taylor couldn't ask Shylock if there was anything extra special about Nero just yet because things were too public for that right now.

"Not very, it's why I'm here, becuase I want to be good but I don't know how." The pride child's double set of head wings twitched as he spoke. He wasn't embarrassed or ashamed yet, it wasn't that he failed at tricks, just that he'd not gotten started yet. It wasn't his fault he'd had no idea how to begin.

Nero looked up at Shylock with his inky black eyes " Teach me tricks?" Not that he could ride himself as of yet and to be honest the betta boy preferred just to be riding with his brother. He was something of a social creature and in Nero's mind everything was better with family around.

Taylor nodded then looked thoughtful for a moment. " Pretty good. I haven;t seen trinket in a while but she'd probbaly okay" His sibling of sorts lived away from him and it was saddening sometimes. " Nickle's busy a lot lately working and Mareike spends most of her time with the guard." Adults rarely seemed to have time to have fun he though. " Penny and I still go lots of cool places though and Penny is really happy lately. " Why he had no clue.

" I'd like that a lot and maybe I can teach him something I already know.." The idea caused a wide grin to spread across his face, it would be really cool to have something to teach someone else.

The green and blonde haired boy tapped his fingers on the handle of his bike for a moment before speaking up again " They're busy but if I need them they're there. Nickle's an accountant which means people want him all the time to do numbers for them ." Apparently this job was what paid for their very nice house. His voice lowered to a whisper " An Mareike's a secret superhero?" Surely he could trust Shylock enough to tell him that.

Nero who had been smiling at Taylor becuase he liked to learned new things frowned at that " What is superhero?" he asked quietly.

Nero looked surprised " How come he stopped? was papa special too?" not that the fish child could imagine his papa with special powers fighting anybody.

Taylor shrugged and drummed his fingers on the handlebar of his bike " She just always has been" for as long as he'd known her anyways.
