Meaning you at some time, lived around the city of your favorite football team.
I was not. I was raised by a father who never been to the states but loved the game growing up in the late 70s. His favorite team was the Pittsburgh Steelers. I grew up in American Samoa [American Territory] which was thousands of miles away from the states. My dad and I bonded and loved the team. As I grew older, my love for the team grew as well. And I guess this is what kept me and my dad talking. It was a different type of relationship. I had a Kordell Stewart jersey and he had a Jerome bettis jersey when I was around 5. In Samoa, there isnt a place to buy jerseys or any sports uniform[probably generic brands though]. i consider my dad a hardcore fan because he learned the game by sheer interest. Today, I live in San diego while he stayed in Samoa[he is still considered immigrant]. He calls constantly about whats going on with the steelers and around the league. I also look up the chargers schedule every season to see if the steelers will play in SD. [Unfortunately, they will only play in Pittsburgh this year...But it's on my Birthday! Making it a special game!]. When they do play in San Diego, I will pay my Dad's flight here...so we can watch our first game together....Sorry I made this into a novel... Some of the things we want to do together are:
-Go to a Steelers Home/Away Game
-Go to the Super Bowl
-Meet the players & coaches
-Go to pittsburgh
-See the lombardi trophies

Yes. I've lived in New York for all my life, and I'm a huge Giants fan. I've been watching and following them ever since I could remember. I also try to go to a few games a year. I really want to go to a Super Bowl in the future...

Dude-LAP Yes. I've lived in New York for all my life, and I'm a huge Giants fan. I've been watching and following them ever since I could remember. I also try to go to a few games a year. I really want to go to a Super Bowl in the future... Does this mean you also like the jets?

I'll root for them in certain games, but I pretty much just worry about the Giants. I'd love to see an all New York Super Bowl though...

I'm like the 49ers but not the Raiders(Bay Area sports you gotta like it) sort of like the Chargers but I don't really care for them.

Nope, Florida is as west as I have ever been. I could not tell you what Colorado is like, but I still love the Broncos.

Don't live in San Diego, about an hour or two away from them, but I grew attached to the team, and love going to San Diego. When I live in the bay area, I swear I was like the only bolt (around my area) I was surrounded by Raiders! And a sprinkle of 49ers.
