First of all, welcome! And thanks for joining. I'm going to lay down some base rules here.
1. SHOW RESPECT AT ALL TIMES! This includes respecting other RPers and respecting the content. You can't have gotten this far without realizing that the vast majority of the matter at hand here is very serious in nature. Therefore, show your utmost respect at all times. Think of this as a war re-enactment. Be gentle with the material here, but don't be afraid to go in depth in it. Explore it and know it, that's what we're here for! But I can't stress how important the respect is. I have family who died in the Holocaust, and I'm sure you all have family, friends, etc. who served and possibly died in this war. Please please please do your best not to dishonor these people!
2. Do the history justice! If you're Russia in the year 1942, are you going to have terribly nice things to say about Germany? Keep in mind the nature of the times to help you with relationships of nations. In short, stay in character based on history.
3. Literacy! This is a literate roleplay, that is, actions fully typed out. If you want to separate with asterisks or with quotes is fine either way, as long as you use your grammar and spelling. Your posts should be between 5 and 20 sentences long basically. Don't type out a one sentence reply because it's no fun for whomever has to reply. Conversely, there's no need to type out a novel. Will I ever call you out on post length? No, probably not, but keep in mind what sort of replies you would want. Once in a while, a super short or long post is okay, though.
4. Do your research! If you're China, you really ought to know all about the invasion of Manchuria, Chiang Kai-shek, and Unit 741. If you're England, none of that is really relevant to you and you're not really expected to know it. You don't have to be a history major to have sufficient knowledge though, as long as you know what you're talking about you'll be fine. Post in this thread that you read the rules in purple font. Don't worry about all the little details (unless you want), just know the basics of your nation. WIKIPEDIA, PEOPLE.
5. The nature of your content! Honestly, I don't care what you put in your posts, as long as it's not uncalled for or incorrect. Keep in mind that everyone else in the guild can see what you type. ^__^

If you have any questions or issues, don't be afraid to contact Toris, Ivan, or myself.
If the subject matter at any time makes you uncomfortable, do NOT be afraid to say something. If someone you're RPing with makes you uncomfortable, tell them to STOP, or tell a mod about it. Don't be afraid to be vague about something you don't want to type.
Check by here on occasion to see if it was updated.
Step lightly, and above all, have fun!
