iMono's TekTek contest! ✖ It's here!
iMono's TekTek contest!
And it's gonna be good :D
This guild has given me so much in the past, well, it's almost been a year now.
I feel very proud to have been a part of it from the start (11th member ftw!), and now I want to give something back.
So I'm starting this free to enter contest. No profit made whatsoever.
This contest officially opened on Thursday 1st October, and you'll find that I've sent you a guild announcement. Don't forget to enter!
I've posted an example of how to enter, but I can't win prizes myself.
That would be plain silly.

So what's going on? ✖ Well, I want you to create a TekTek.
Simple, yes?
But of course, there are rules:
✖ No spamming, trolling, etc.
✖ Be nice.
✖ Follow the ToS and guild rules.
✖ And have fun!
Make sure you follow them!
And then there's the specifications.
I don't want a random TekTek.
That would make it difficult to judge.
Nope, I have a specific theme!
✖ The overall theme is countries.
✖ I want you to think about the different aspects of your chosen country (you don't have to do your own country!).
✖ This could mean festivals, celebrations and important occasions; stereotypes; food; famous people; etc.
✖ Try to make your avatar as unique and well thought out as possible!
As well as the overall theme, there are also two categories:
✖ 25k and under.
✖ Over 25k.
✖ I will be judging these categories separately, so that means separate prizes!

What's for winning? ✖ As there are two categories, there will be separate prizes:
25k and under prizes
✖ First place - 5k
✖ Second place - 3k
✖ Third place - 1k
Over 25k prizes
✖ First place - 5k
✖ Second place - 3k
✖ Third place - 1k
Yes, the prizes are the same for each.
But additionally, the six winners of each category will go head to head to win a special prize!

I will do my best to answer them here, but if there's something I've missed, feel free to post it here, and I'll add it to this post.
✖ Can I have multiple entries?
----- You can have a maximum of two entries, providing they are in different categories. So you can have one entry for the 25k and under category, and the other for the over 25k category.
✖ Does that mean I can win more than one prize?
----- Technically, yes. I will try and spread out the prizes as much as possible, but if there aren't many entries, then you are more likely to get more than one.
✖ How will the winners be decided?
----- I will be judging the entries myself. The winner of the bonus prize will be decided via a guild poll to determine the most popular of the winners.
✖ When will the contest open and finish?
----- The contest officially opens on Thursday 1st October, and all entries must be in by Thursday 19th November. The winners will be announced on Thursday 26th November, and the poll for the bonus prize will open on the same day, and finish Friday 4th December. The winners will receive their prizes as soon as possible. I may extend the deadline if I don't receive enough entries. But use this as a rough estimation.
