She had to run.
Run run run.
Her paws carried her swiftly through the night, her mind still reeling from the past few weeks' occurances. First was Epesi's death, then her confrontation with Mtenga, and now her conversation with Kimacho. Things were looking grim for all of them, and the air was tense with unspoken questions.
Kimacho hadn't believed her. She'd tried to convince him of Mtenga being the killer, but Kimacho hadn't believed her, casting aside her words without a second thought.
What was she going to do now?

Something was wrong.
Hell, everything was wrong. There was just something Kenna couldn't quite put her paw on, and the notion bothered her horribly. There was, without a doubt, something she was missing in the whole ordeal, and sating within the pride lands did not help clear her mind whatsoever.
So thus, she had gone off to prowl the desert in an attempt to clear her thoughts. Scouting the territory had always served her well in the past; specially when she wished to be left alone. Something about the current events had her puzzled, and she was sure there were details she was missing out on - something did not fit. Now, if she could only.... just figure what it was that had her unnerved, then surely she could figure out just what in the blasted blazes was going on!
Despite the fact she was pondering deeply, the lioness was still watching her surroundings; prowling low within the cover of the dunes and the darkness of the falling sun. Needless to say, she was horribly surprised when she spotted the white and black striped form running in the near distance. It took the ex-queen only a few seconds to realize she knew that form.
With a silent growl, the large lioness weaved her way skillfully through the dunes, running in an attempt to cut off Nasiha. It took effort to overtake the white lioness, but once she was sure she'd managed it, she leapt over a dune and skidded to s halt before the running lioness. Her maw open into a growl, her fore leg lifted in the air, claw extended, as she flattened her ears, "Stop!" the mere word was commanding as she swiped the air with her paw, "Where do you think you're going?"

Nasiha let out a cry of surprise at the sudden appearance of the larger lioness, her paws coming to a screeching halt to avoid running directly into her.
How could she not have heard her approach? How in the world had she missed this giant coming at her? She was a warrior, out of all things, and she let this lioness get the better of her?
"N-nowhere," she blurted out, quickly swallowing after, her mouth suddenly feeling as dry as the sand beneath her paws. What in the world did Kenna, of all lions, want with her? Oh gods, did she suspect something? What was she going to do?
"Is there something you needed, Kenna?" she inquired, trying to remain calm as the larger female eyed her.

It didn't really sound like Nasiha was going 'nowhere'. At least not to Kenna anyhow, whom instantly narrowed her eyes and showed the younger lioness her white teeth, "Doesn't look like it," she told her in a threatening tone as she stood her ground, waiting to see what the other lioness would do; would she try to run? Would she turn right or left?
As the seconds ticked by and Nasiha did not run, Kenna 'tsked' her tongue over her fangs; apparently the girl was going to take the 'play dumb' approach to the situation. Somehow, that irritated the ex-queen far more than if she'd tried to run away, "It just so happens there is," she said, then advanced on the younger warrior, "I need you to come with me, back to the pride," came the words, her teeth displayed once more, "Can't have you running away to god knows where. That makes you look might guilty, girl."

Go back? With her to the Firekin?
"It would be silly for me to just up and run away," she attempted to point out, moving slowly to the right. Her eyes were focused on Kenna, watching and waiting to see what the larger female would do. Nasiha knew she was swift, but was Kenna faster? If she ran and was caught, her fate would be surely sealed, but... would it be worse if she couldn't escape? "After all, it's not like I have anything to hide!"
She bit her tongue softly, wondering if she should regret the words that had just left her lips. It wasn't a good sign that she was obviously being retrieved... oh god, did Kimacho suspect her, after what she said?
