Two things.
1: Download the free version of AVG.
2: This is why you don't go randomly downloading s**t.

It's okay as it takes a while to write them and Mac heads are so ******** protective and more bat-s**t about their products... So I think it will balance out.

Oh noes! I hope you get it fixed soon!
@Mr.O: I still have yet to get a virus. I think it can still be named as one of their virtues. I will be a long, long time before macs start to get viruses the way windows do.

I will be a long, long time before macs start to get viruses the way windows do. And yet, my PC is virus free. Anti-virus software and not downloading potentially dangerous stuff, a wonderful combination. Of course, since I have the second one I don't need the first one.

Have you ever had to worry about getting one?

Ugh, as both a Mac [OS X] and PC [Windows, Linux] owner and user: each OS has their strong and weak points.
Personally, I don't think my MacBook is worth the price I paid for it, but yes, I have yet to have an infection. My PC has been infected a few times before, but nothing I couldn't fix, and my OS is installed on a separate partition so resinstalling was never an issue.
Dae: I would suggest downloading a good, free antivirus program like AVG or avast! and installing it onto your infected computer via disc or USB drive. If you want to be super safe, maybe downloading and running AdAware and Spybot. That's should at least get rid of the infection (unless it's something really bad, then you may want to head over to the computer and tech forum and reach the stickies at the top). As for the files you may have lost, it'll be easier to deal with after running an antivirus.

Worst I got was a month-long BSoD minefield.
Post a comment? No way, Jose. Play a game? It seems the game has turned into a blue screen, huh. Watch a video? How about watching a blue screen? Write something down? No soup for you! Just blue screen!

We don't mind anything by it though. Yeah gotta keep up with the anti-virus stuff. Too many bored assholes writing up bad scripts and such. It's getting more and more complex nowadays.

XD Mac PC debates are fun. To a point. Eventually they get annoying. =)
So, back to the original post, viruses suck. I think we can all agree on that, yes? People who make them are mean.
