Rahujo's forge is a large-ish building, with wooden walls and a steep reed-thatched roof. Underneath the eaves of the roof at one side is a large logpile that extends from the front of the forge most of the way to the rear - the forge fire has a hearty appetite for fuel. A large water barrel sits under the eaves on the other side.
The ground floor of the building houses the forge itself, and her sleeping quarters are in the loft, reached by a staircase in the back of the forge.
At the front, beside the large barn-like door, stands a small canopy made up of a thatch roof attached to the forge wall at one end, and supported by two stout logs at the other. This shaded area houses a small clay stove, and two chests: one for rice, and one for dried provisions. Blackened pots and pans dangle from the roof.
The interior of the forge is dark and warm. There are two small windows, but most of the light comes either from the large front doorway in daytime, or from the fire and a couple of torches on the wall at night.
The hearth is the centerpiece of the forge, and its reason for existing. The massive fireplace is built from black cast iron, solid grey stone and fireclay, and sits at the back of the forge. Its stone chimney extends through the ceiling and forms part of the building's back wall. A huge pair of bellows projects from the front of the hearth.
Beside the hearth is a small woodpile and a tall storage cabinet with heavy gloves, a battered black kettle, poker, tongs, rake and spade for maintaining the fire, and a heavy leather blanket for extinguishing unexpectedly flaming objects.
In front of the hearth squats Rahujo's anvil, a waist-high lump of stone with a flat top and a projecting horn for hammering curves. A trough of water for quenching hot metal sits beside the anvil.
Most of the rest of the forge is occupied by various workbenches, and storage for metal, wood, bone, leather and the tools to work the above.
A random frog lives somewhere in the forge.

Rahujo is the eldest of the current Aerandir. She cuts an impressive figure: tall and muscular, with a single golden eye - the other having been destroyed by a stray metal shard long ago. Her steady manner and level head reflect her bison/raven ancestry.
Blacksmith and toolmaker by trade, she makes her home in the island's small forge, creating tools for the village and weaponry for Osero's hunting.
Somewhat reserved, Rahujo usually appears to be more at home with her sledgehammer and anvil than with humans or other Aerandir. However, she harbours a soft spot for Osero, who is the closest thing she has to a little brother.
