Biography: Ryu was a smart kid in school always getting good grades and was also very athletic. His dream was always to become a pokemon trainer since his father and older brother were pokemon trainers. On Ryu's 17th birthday, his father gave him the present that would change his life forever. The gift was a pokemon ball which Ryu quickly opened and awaited to find out what his first pokemon would be and within seconds it revealed to be a gastly. Ryu didnt care which pokemon his father gave him due to the fact that he was extrememly excited as he ran up to Gastly and hugged him. Ryu was happy that he was gonna begin his journey as a pokemon trainer the next day with his new pokemon Gastly. A new chapter in Ryu's life was just beginning.
