Valetudo'Sero was tired. It had been a long day of herb hunting and now she was ready for it to be over so she could relax but some of the herbs that she picked had to be mixed relatively quickly, like with in a day. Luckily those that she picked were all ingredients of relatively common medicines and poisons; sleeping powder, numbing paste, and a very strong poison that she liked to have on hand, it was this one that always took the most time.
It didn't take Val long to find a relatively quiet area to brew her potions. There was a small tree for shade with a relatively cleared area in front of it as well as a small stack of rocks that would act great as a table for those few mixes that needed sunlight to make them stronger, it was called steeping.
After some crushing and mixing of various herbs Val was ready to place the herbs into the rest of there individual mixes. The two for healing purposes, sleeping powder and numbing paste, went into two different leather bags which Val carefully placed in the larger sachal around her neck. The last mix that she was dealing with, the poison, she placed in a small gourd that was hollowed out especially for this, it was quite small but with the concentrating power of the sun she could make this poison be vary lethal. It was this mix that she would use for protection when all else failed, after all a girls got to protect herself.
The gourd she wedged safely in between some rocks and in direct sunlight before going to relax in the shade. Val kept one eye on the rocks but let her mind wander as her tired body tugged at her for sleep. She didn't even remember closing her eyes.

Rahvu was a odd sight to see. He really was.
He was a very skinny lion, his legs were long, his ribs just barely shown, but there was a little bit of fat there, just enough to cushion them. But it wasn't a bad thing. It wasn't horrible and it wasn't because he didn't eat much. It was mostly because he processed food quickly. Or at least thats what his mother told him. He was almost always eating. He was glad he could catch his own food now. on top of that he could easily keep up with any prey that he was trying to go after. Because of his long legs he could catch anything!
And that what he just finished doing. He stood above the bones of a creature that he had. He was chewing away at the leftover bones of the hare. Trying to get all of the meat off that he could. He was starting to feel more satisfied. With every little part he ate, he wasn't as hungry at all. He flicked a tail behind him before he lifted his head, a scent crossing his path. He blinked a bit he didn't notice anyone before.
He was a smile on his face as he stood up and started to slowly wander toward the scent. He kept up a pretty good trot. He approached the female with a smile. He was automatically stopped by her, she had a presence about her, and on top of that she had wings! She had to be one of those Goddesses! He gave a soft smile before nodding toward her. "Hello there!" He nodded before blinking a bit and licking the blood off of his chin from his meal.

Valetudo'Sero woke with a start when someone called out a greeting. Mumbling while getting to her feet, "just resting my eyes," she did her best to get her sleep fogged mind to work. Waking up after a short nap was always difficult for the goddess, it was like her did not get a chance to clear out completely so she woke with a stuffy, fluffy mind.
After a moment of looking around with blurry eyes she spotted a young dark lion. Shaking her head trying to get the last of the sleep from her mind she returned the greeting. "Oh, Hello."
Then like a switch was flipped, a agitated look crossed her face as she quickly moved to the rock pile. With a sigh and a whispered thanks, Val saw that her poison mix was still there and there was no harm done from her unexpected nap. With a critical eye she determined that it needed a bit longer before she was ready to put it away.
With that worry taken care of the goddess turned her attention back to the male who woke her. "So, um, can I help you?" She didn't know what to say to this male who was the same age as her. And kinda cute too, a small part of her whispered in the recesses of her mind.

The lioness was sleeping? He wasn't even that sure of that. He wandered a little closer, his head moving around as he tried to get looks around her. It looked like she really did have wings. On top of that she had... some kind of like items on her. He wasn't sure what they were or what they were used for but he was slightly confused at it. He knew that goddesses liked to cover themselves in treasures but at the same time he was still confused.
But then she moved. "Oh!" He almost jumped back but he stood his ground. He didn't want to act really surprised, no he was a teen he wasn't going to do that and not in front of a girl that was just odd. He puffed out his chest then flashed the lioness a soft apologetic smile. "Please, please forgive me for waking you up." He blushed slightly even though it was hidden under his dark coat. He was glad he had that some times. He was thinking the same thing. This lioness is pretty cute.
"I was just looking for a little bit of company I hope you don't mind me interupting. I'm still sorry." He shook his head slightly. "I can leave if you like."

"No, no its ok. I'm just waiting for something to finish... um well finish brewing really." Valetudo'Sero said when the guy apologized for waking her up and offered to leave. "Sometimes it take forever for it to get strong enough so in the mean time I just have to sit here bored out of my skull." She said with a rueful smile as she shifted her wight from paw to paw.
"So anyway my name is Val. Whats yours?" Val asked not even noticing that her wings that she normally hid with illusions were visible.

Ravhu looked at the what he was guessing goddess before nodding toward her then shaking himself making his mane fluffy. He hen nodded. "Brewing?" His voice was curious, he really had no clue what she was talking about but then he chuckled. "Ah, I understand I tend to fall asleep a lot of the time when I'm bored." God and he was bored often. At times he felt like he never had something to do.
"I like your name Val." He nodded before quickly bowing toward her with a smile still on her face. "I'm Rahvu."

Valetudo'Sero blushed lightly, it was nearly impossible to tell because of her coloring, "Um, yeah I'm making a mix of herbs and but sticking it in the sun for a while I can concentrate it. I call it brewing for some reason." She never had to explain herself before so she was a bit subconscious about her methods of making poisons or medicines. Add to the fact that she feel asleep with a really dangerous mix getting stronger just feet away and she felt her youth even more.
"Its very nice to meet you Rahvu." She nodded her head a bit in surprise when he bowed to her, it was definitely not something she was use to. "So, um, what brings you out here." Great going Val, you sure are a great linguist, she mentally added, bemused at her own awkwardness. Give her a sick patient or even a bunch of herbs and she has no problem but talking to someone was much harder for her most of the time.

"Oh! That makes sense." He grinned before looking at the pouch handing around her neck. He flicked his tail around then laughed slightly. "That's a pretty cool name for doing that. It's shorter than explaining what you were doing." He laughed a bit again before letting out a small yawn. "Brewing is a hole lot easier then saying what you just explained to me." He winked at her with a large smile with a grin on her face.
"It's nice to meet you too." He grinned widely at her then flicked his tail around just a little more before looking around with a small shrug. "Well.. Boredom really." He laughed slightly before flicking hair out of his eyes again. "I just wandered around over here."

Val smiled, "Yeah but if I have to say brew and explain it too, doesn't it take even longer?" His yawns were infectious, as she yawned as well. "Oh dear apparently a short nap just makes me want to nap even more." She smile, inviting him to share in her joke that wast really a joke. Jokes and stories and the like were not her strong point, her jokes would fall flat, her riddles would make no sense, and her stories would shift from being short and dull to long and convoluted. "Boredom I guess is a great adventure maker, right?"
Feeling more at ease Val sat down, but like she was taught she sat properly, her back straight, her front paws parallel, and her tail wrapped neatly around her haunch with the tip resting right in front of her front paws. She was sitting like a proper lioness when a particularly dense bug flew right in her face. With a startled snort she leaned back, but it was too far so with a startled gasp she started to fall backwards, only with a quick thinking did she land on her side and in some semblance of order. Val's tail was somewhat tangled in her back legs and her front were splayed out. At first she was quite embarrassed but there was a laugh that was bubbling up inside her that wouldn't stop so by the time she was untangled and laying down normally she was laughing loud and hard.

"Well..." He thought a bit then grinned widely at him. "If you run into lions you already ran into before, such as me! You won't have to explain it. I have an idea. I'll make sure to explain it to a few of my friends." Yeah that was a great idea. they might look at him a little funny but if they ran into her they'd know what she was talking about. Yes it was perfect. Well atleast in his mind. he laighed a bit. "That was most likely my fault." He chuckled slightly. I have to admit i can be blamed for many things." He laughed a little more as he settled where he was. "I've been told I'm a bad luck charm." He winked before nodding to her words. "It is."
When he noticed her fall it took him a moment to realized what happened. He tried to fight off the laughter at first. He was biting his lip before he realized that she was also laughing and laughing hard. He couldn't hold it in after he realized that, he also found himself on the ground laughing pretty hard himself. He then looked back at his new friend before calming himself down just long enough to ask her. "Are you alright?"

It took a little while for Val to stop giggling after her fall, when she was finally calming down she answered Ravhu, "I'm fine, its what I get for siting like that." She smiled and got up, shaking herself to dislodge any dust that had gotten in her fur.
She was bored and napping was not an option since she had to keep an eye on her mix. With uncertainty in her stance she asked, "Have you ever heard of a game called 'I spy with my little eye'?" She had only played the game a few times with others when she was growing up and had yet to play it as a young lioness, almost an adult. After all she had too many other things that were more important to do then to play a simple game but this time she wanted to play, she wanted to act young again rather then act like the adult she is not quite yet.

Ravhu chuckled a bit as she got up shaking his head then winking at her slightly, flicking his hair out of his eyes. "I'm still pretty sure that was just my bad luck rubbing off on you, if that is true I'm sorry." He chuckled slightly then sat up just a little more.
"Eye spy? I've heard of it. I've never really played it though." He laughed a bit before grinning at her. It still sounds pretty cool though. You wanna play?"

Val just smiled and blushed slightly when Ravhu winked and said it was his bad luck that made her fall. "If you have time I would love to play a game of Eye Spy." She did a quick look at her mix and while it was good to put away it never hurt to let it sit a while longer.
"I'll go first if you don't mind." She said as she relaxed in the shade of her tree. After a moment, while she was looking for something to 'spy' she realized that she had not offered her shade to share. "You can join me in the shade if you would like."

Rahvu looked at the lioness before nodding to her. "Of course I do. I'm not really going anywhere any time soon." A smile grew on his lips before he started to make himself feel comfortable. He flicked his tail around, brushing it against his rump trying to get the dirt of of it before smiling at her. He hadn't got a chance to play games like this since he was a cub.
He blinked as she got up and wandered to a tree, wondering why he didn't think of that before. "I'd love to join you." He chuckled slightly before following her over and flopping down under the tree next to her. You can go first, I don't mind at all." He nodded toward her before sitting back a little.

She shifted a bit to give Rahvu plenty of space before saying "Ok well then, I spy with my little eye something," Val looked around her in an exaggerated manor, she already knew what she was going to use but wanted to make him think that she didn't, "Pink."
Val was happy as she relaxed a bit more, she didnt get to play games with mortals all that much since she was normal helping them in some way or another or came upon them when she was searching for plants. Some times it was fun to just act her age, well her mortal age since as a goddess she could 'live' to be quite old.
