So I switched from clarinet to bass clarinet in Oct 2006. Now I have to play clarinet in pit orchestra. Which I'm excited for. 'Cept I just picked up my clarinet for the first time since 2006, and I can't a get a single note out. Just struggled air sound or squeaky noises...Help!

My guess would be that either you're over blowing, your embouchure is either too relaxed or not relaxed enough, or some combination. Then of course there's always the normal reed/instrument in general issues.

Maybe you just need some practice, get some help from a few people, and try really hard and I know you will get it
