After sleeping for a bit, Haku made his way from the den and glanced around a little. His family must have been exploring, he was hopeful that they would enjoy these lands that had been so very good to him. They had many different types of dens, game and plenty of room to stretch one's legs.
Once he made his way to the large stone circle a several yards off from the dens, he took his seat and lifted his head high. Using his large, powerful lungs, he let out a howl, a calling for the meeting to begin so that his knew members would know what place they were to take. Most of them were already decided, but he would not force a single wolf into doing something they were not interested in.
These wolves deserved respect and fair treatment, for they were offering the same thing to him. With that, he waited, his right, deaf ear ever twitching.

Madhuri peeked her head out of her newly found den as the howl of calling still rung in her ears. She had just finished scoping out the packlands and familiarizing herself with its borders before she settled on a den that was part of the main denning area. She liked it this way..because she didn't have much need for personal space and solitude like others might prefer. She wanted to really feel like a part of the pack, and didn't want others to have to hike to a secluded den for her assistance.
Satisfied with her marking, she strode to join Haku at the stone circle, chiming in her characteristic manner all the way. She tipped her head to her alpha in respect and smiled, sitting across from him at the circle while she waited for the others to arrive.

The patched wolf's ears twitched at the sound of the alpha's call. It was a delightful sound, a howl in general. With a peaceful enthusiasm, the eyeless fae lifting her head to answer. The sound reverberated through her little den, one not too far from her alpha's. From here, she could hear most anything in the dens, the reason for it being her chosen den. She had marked it's entrance well enough, and had spent a couple of hours making it her own. Leaves and bunches of drying grass made a soft bed, one she hoped to add pelts to in the coming days.
The lean form made her way out of the den, side brushing against the entrance, not for support, but to familiarize herself with it's shape. Little things like this she had been doing most of the day, making herself more certain about her surroundings. She could now well enough find her way to most of the dens by scent, and even around the boundaries. "Hello Haku," She said in a reverent tone before turning her ears to the bells. "..And greetings to you too Madhuri." A smile curled the wolf's lips, her tail wagging with an almost passive delight. She seemed in far better condition than she had been. A full belly and good rest had left her voice her less hoarse, and even her coat seemed in better shape.
Turkish lifted his head at the alpha's call, a rabbit pinned under heavy paws. With a decisive crunch the little thing stopped its struggling, and was hoisted in a bed of teeth to the stone circle. The white wolf was a shade less social than most others in the group, dropping the rabbit at his alpha's feet before taking a place beside his little sister wolf. She seemed far brighter now, happier and safer. The result was a sort of ripple effect. He knew that he could certainly feel the effect. He was calmer, less prone to outburst, but then, the little sister had always had such an effect. So, he sat quietly, hardly seeming to pay attention to things even as he hung on every word.

He nodded his head to greet Madhuri, glad that the female was so quick to respond to him. She would be very valuable, especially with her good relations with humans. Sockets was next and though she couldn't see it, he was giving her a broad grin. The female seemed so much better, happier.. She was strong, Haku admired that piece of her.
As the rabbit was dropped before him, his eyes were glowing with pride and interest. He could tell it had not taken long for the white male to catch the prey.
"I'm planning to hand out assignments to all of you today, though you, Turkish, already know, and have proven that I made the right choice to have you as my Hunting Captian." An approving nod was given to him, feeling pride in the other as a family member.
"Though I do wish to give a chance for the other members to appear, so that they might have a voice in their own positions."

The leopard print wolf padded into the clearing where her new packmates were supposed to meet. They were supposed to get their duties today, and she had never been so anxious.
Her heart pounded in her chest, and she felt as fluttery as when she had first seen her sister again so long ago.
She looked around, surprised to only see two wolves in the clearing. Mandhuri, she thought her name was..And of course Haku.
Had she been a jealous type, or thought of him as anything more, she might have been rather antsy about them being alone.
But she was more antsy at interrupting them than anything.

"Hopefully, with time, Skaara will be joining us, but for now, I would like to speak to you all about the positions you will be taking in this pack." His head nodded a few times, eyes glowing with contentment. It had been hard to decide, but he knew that each member was going to be as important as the next.
"Ah.. Madhuri. You seem to be so good with humans, it would be a shame to waste that. I, myself, had a human around my territory when I was younger. Meal Ticket was important. I want you to handle human relations, and making sure those around here know this is our territory, but befriend them. There is more than that, however. As that duty will not take up too much of your time, I would prefer if you would be my.. confidence, so to speak. Someone I can have to speak my mind with, without worry about issues coming up from it. There is no title for what you will do, simply trust that I can go to you when needed."
His head turned to Sockets. "You are a wise wolf, Sockets. One I know I can trust and depend on. I have an interesting proposition for you, one I do hope you will consider. I would like you to be my Beta Female. The Beta Male.. he is setting up his own den, and his name is Gaara. You will meet him soon. However, he is your total opposite. A bit violent and rash. But I trust him with everything in me. I need my Beta female to be calm, rational and one who thinks. One who doesn't rely on brute strength, but emotions.. senses. You will be in charge of assessing the new pack members, as well as visitors to find their true intentions. I believe you can do this."
Finally, he addressed the one he saw as his sister. "I want you to be the Pack Mother, Reaction.. You healed me when I was young, you helped me and changed my perspective on life in general. I believe you can watch over the puppies, as well as take care of our wounded. A special den will be appointed for pregnant mothers or wounded, that you will be in charge of."

A soft wag came to Madhuri's tail as the other pack members began to show themselves, and she smiled a friendly greeting to Sockets. "Hello again, Sockets, you look like a new wolf already! How are you feeling?"
She spoke the truth, and she noted that Turkish also seemed to be perking up. It seemed that fresh dens, a little rest, and a good meal did a lot to restore the group's morale. She could feel a growing sense of family beginning to form as everyone began to fall into place.
She straightened attentively to the alpha's words as she listened to the assignments, and her heart leaped at the privilege of being the alpha's confidant and ambassador. Madhuri had no doubt in her mind that she could be everything her alpha hoped she could be, and she had no intention of ever letting him down. She bowed her head gratefully to Haku, the happiness in her heart showing through her eyes. " It would be an honor, Haku, I promise that I will not let you down."
She listened closely to the other assignments and watched the others, making note of her alpha's choices and working out the thought behind them, already coming to understand his point of view. Sockets and Gaara seemed like a logical choice, as their personalities and innate differences would compliment and balance each other out..so long as they listened to each other.
Reaction, on the other hand, she did not know well, but based on Haku's words, she could be trusted to take care of the sick, the injured, the mothers-to-be, puppies, and following that logic, life itself. She had no problem accepting that, although a tiny jealous voice in her mind hoped that Reaction might need a helping paw from time to time..especially with the pack's little ones. She had to admit that her motherly side was getting far too ahead of itself. At the moment the pack didn't even have little ones to look after or play with anyhow. She had to fight down a chuckle as she vowed to put her motherly urges on a leash, lest they get out of hand.

Skarra had been hunting when Haku's meeting call sounded, eye eyed the rabbits he had been hunting before giving them up and turning to return to the pack. Running through the forest, his ears twitched and his heart pounded, when the welcoming smell of pack became almost overwelming he slowed his pace and panted trying to still his heart and catch his breath again. Twitching his ears he heard that they had already started thier meeting and he grimaced slightly when he relizaed that he was late.
Lighting his step he inched in to sit beside Madhuri trying not to distrube Haku as gave him a slight apologetic look.

Though he could sense the tiny bit of jealousy between Madhuri and Reaction, he hoped such a thing would never truly become a problem. Reaction would surly need help from time to time, and Madhuri would be just the wolfess to help her out. What meant a lot to him, though, was the fact that Madhuri was so willing to be the one he could confide in. He had long ago learned that someone to do that was extremely helpful, and she came across as the kind to listen without judging. She would be perfect for it. "I believe you will be perfect for this, Madhuri."
As the last male moved forward, he caught the apologetic look and nodded his head. "There will be no punishment, of course, Skaara. This was the first meeting. Though I do hope next time you will be here on time?" There was a hint of teasing to his tone, light and happy. The other seemed to feel a little guilty, that was enough to tell Haku that next time would be better. He felt no need to tare into him, as long as he improved later on.
"Your duty is very important as well, though, so I am glad you're here." He nodded his head, "You will be my Arbitrary. I need a smart and calm wolf to help me if a fight was to break out. Whether it be inside the pack or when we are dealing with another pack, your main duty is to make sure that fights do not evolve into violence. Things need to be solved quickly and efficently. I believe you can handle this the best, and hope you will accept such a position.

Skaara came forward but he kept his ears pressed against his head in embrasse ment at being late but he gave Haku a small smile as he acknowledged the teasing tone in Haku's voice. "Thank you Haku, I would be honored to help keep the pack safe both from outsiders and each other."
He bowed his head and moved back into his position in the pack where he sat and perked his ears up to listen better; gazing around him at the others he noted with satisfaction that both Sockets and Turkish looked much less starved then before.
Letting his eyes run over Madhuri he noticed the happiness that shone from her and he took a minture to observe Reaction as he had not yet had the chance to speak with her; letting the smell and feel of pack and home wash over him Skaara turned his full attention back to Haku.

She grew happy at the thought of such a mission rested on her shoulders. She was pack mother. That fit her well, and she gave a smile before bowing her head and looking honored.
"I shall make you proud, Haku."
She said softly, regarding her 'brother', and looking at the packmates.
It might take some time to win everyone over, but she was happy with her lot in life.
