I hear it shallow, shattered, hollow, pitter patter down it goes. Rain is drizzling, pouring, sizzling, drowning me and all it knows. The sky it cries I don't know why, I hear its torn and windy moans. The rain is lashing, striking, slashing, washing clean the world below.
I shiver cold, a hurt so bold, it burns and stings my very soul. I cry out soundless, lost and bound, I realize now I am alone. Dappled in the pouring torrent, seeking relief though now I know. Our worlds despair is always there speaking to us as it goes.
Silently I contemplate, shivering in such a state, a new profound enlightening. I realize what I am and whisper softly to the rain 'I am Dappled Despair and I feel your pain..'
