So... My parents are going away this week, with my older brother & his girlfriend.
I'm going to have the house to myself from Tuesday thru Saturday Afternoon.
I thought it was going to be a nice relaxing week.... but then I started making plans.

My mom's birthday is tuesday, the 22nd. For her birthday, I was going to have the main hallway redone in my house. My dad had started taking the wood paneling off of it last year & never finished it. So my boyfriend & his father are going to come over after work everyday this week, pull the wall down & put it back up. Make it all professionally done, being their contractors & what not. I'm the greatest daughter ever, I know. lol jk jk...
So anyway.. yeah, that was my plan for the week, after work, just come home & help them with that. But then my friend, Ron, got me a job interview at the place he works at, which is about 70 mils closer than my own job. So I have a job interview on Wednesday now. Friday, I had plans to have a few friends over to have some drinks & what some movies being I haven't done that in a while because my boyfriend is in the AA programs, so I don't really get to go out & 'party' to much anymore. Being 23, that's kind of a big change, ya know ? So I thought it'd be good to have some friends over & just relax & have a few drinks.
And that was my plans for the week...

Well, now... The guy that got me the job interview for wednesday... he's going to be spending the week with me. Friday, he got fired, cutbacks... then today, when he got home, his wife told him she wanted a divorce & kicked him out. So he's staying with me for the week, being no one is home. The company will be nice. He's a great guy. However, he's also in the AA program... so I'm ******** for friday & kinda sad. Blah.

This is going to be an interesting week...

Wow IE, that's.... wow.
I'm sorry to hear you've lost your plans for Friday, but sadly plans never seem to stay the same way we want them to, and that really sucks.At least you get a little time alone and can -try to- relax, although I see that as being difficult!

Good luck on the walling and stuff with your hallway! I had to do that once with my house, and it was a b***h... then again I was only 14, go figure. Have two strong men in the house, and they end up making the 14 year old do most the lifting >.>

Well, I hope that in the end your week doesn't turn out as chaotic as it sounds in your post, but who knows. I wish you the best of luck and do TRY and relax? Don't want you overtiring yourself now! wink

So I go into work this morning & one of my guys quit on friday.
He left a note in my mailbox & was a no call/no show on friday night.
More work for me. FML.

Wow, that really sucks... Just wow... I don't really know what to say, besides good luck! So do you have to work on Friday now, or what? Otherwise, couldn't you go out and drink with friends?

Sorry to hear that IE. Sounds like s**t just sucks right now. But I hope things eventually calm down for you a bit and you can take some time to sit and breathe for 5 seconds. hang in there though, it'll be done and over with soon.

If I keep going off roading with my friend in his new jeep,
I'm sure it will all be done & over with soon. lol

Just got home from swing dancing. It was a good class.
I needed it, to get my mind off of things & focused on something else.
