I haven't been here in so long... my home... I wonder what's changed, if anything? What could this scenario possibly lead me to? Why did I leave behind a place that I finally fit into, at least some what? ... But I have to follow through. If I turned back now, I'd just be a lying coward.
Setting: Nami's home near Konoha; afternoon. [Time change... >.>;; ]

Aimi stood in front of a mirror, gently patting down loose hairs. Her bun was tight and high on her head, only to compliment her slim neck. Aimi's kimono had the flower pattern even in the creases, one she wouldn't normally wear. The real cherry on top was the jewel in her pin. It sparkled in the sunlight, supporting her bun. A gift from someone; one who was wealthy enough to afford it. Aimi had told her husband she was just going to the market to buy some supplies, it wasn't a lie but it wasn't the enitre truth either.

[[ OH OH OH. Know what Daisuke means in English? "Great helper." ... THAT GOES WITH MEH CHARACTER. 8DDDD <333333 ]]
Hisoka was lying almost spread-Eagle across the couch in their living space, staring up at a blank ceiling. His wife was currently prepping herself for the market. Not that he really believed that. She went out to the market, what, 2 times a week, if that? [ Is the wife a cheater? xDD ] "What're ya buyin' this time, Aimi?" He called, not caring if he sounded 'polite' at the moment. [[I'll post for Nami soon. I don't want it to be so straight-forward. I wanna get the hang of the parents a bit first.]]

[[That she is. :]]]
Aimi's footsteps were quiet on the wooden floor boards, only an ocasional thump to be heard. She reached the room where Hisoka was sprawled on the couch. Her head was held up high, her back straight. Aimi's hands shot up to her hair, making sure it felt just right. She cleared her throat and smiled sweetly, "There is an order for me waiting in the market. Some herbs I've been wanting to play around with for our meals." Aimi was being semi-polite, ignoring any secret meaning Hisoka meant for her to hear.
[[Me too. I don't really know how to portray this mother...]]

[[ Lying, cheating... -lol, goes on mumbling- ]]
Hisoka took that as a fair enough excuse. Sometimes she actually did have to buy food. He nodded and sat up straight, only to stand up slowly from the couch. Age really was a pain... He walked over to where his wife had taken to standing, lying his hand on her shoulder as her kissed her cheek. "Be good." [[ ... Bipolar father? ... Eh. I said he'd be nice enough to the wife. >O ]] Nami simply stood outside the house, hiding idly behind a tree, although only half of her body was covered. Her telepathy powers had come in a bit more, picking up things more often, but no messages had come from the little hut yet.

[[Hey! They do go hand-in-hand d:]]
A pang of guilt hit Aimi. It wasn't there for long since she told herself the same excuse she always told herself. 'I deserve to be happy too.' Making sure not to pull away too quickly, Aimi fixed her kimono hopefully fixing any wrinkles before they settled. She nodded towards Hisoka, afraid her voice might fail her and walked gracefully to the door. The fresh air smelt good and it was only the beginning of what awaited her.

[[ Ah? ... Oh. c: I think I gets it. ]]
Hisoka watched his wife until the door closing cut off his line of sight. Once that'd happened, he turned his gaze over to a painting on the wall. It only really looked like oddly colored mis-shapen blobs, yet somehow it held meaning. His gaze turned cold, and he proceeded by kicking over a vase. Much to his displeasure, it didn't break. Nami's eyes widened god knows how much before she realized that she should hide a little bit better! She squeezed her eyes lids shut, and tried to make herself lose what little weight she had that kept her alive just so she'd fit behind the damned tree!

[[Awww, crap! I forgot the hue for the pinky looking color. I'll fix it in a sec]]
Aimi didn't need to have sensitive hearing to hear the vase fall to the floor. Was it the one she had recieved for a gift just the other month? Crossing her fingers, Aimi hoped there wasn't a single scratch on it. Her eyes darted from her home to the surrounding area. Some of her friends didn't approve of her living style and the wives of some of her friends were often wealthy enough to hire professional ninja to end her life. Spotting some color, Aimi stopped dead in her tracks, calling out, "W-... who's there?"

Nami's eyes opened. She stared blankly at the tree just inches from her face, her mouth slightly ajar. So many foul words and phrases ran in and out of her head in just a few seconds, cursing herself for not being ninja-like at the very moment and crawling up the tree like a freaky squirrel that she thought was just so cuddly! She lightly clicked her tongue, something she usually did to keep herself from becoming too angry, too upset in any way. She'd stay quiet until she felt the actual need to expose herself.

Aimi's eyes were filled with worry. She spun around, careful not to ruin the kimono, casting the occasional glance over her should. For now, Aimi decided, she'd stay in the house. Her footsteps were quick, one after another.
Aimi slid the door open and stepped in with one fluid movement. Her hands were sweaty as she removed her shoes and walked away from the door, back towards Hisoka. The vase caught her eye and the relief was short lived when Aimi remembered who laid just outside the door. Hopefully her face filled with panic was enough for Hisoka.

Hisoka had almost been startled by Aimi's sudden entry, but her expression startled him a bit more. "What is it?" He looked over her shoulder to the door, as if waiting for someone to come busting through it. You can never be too sure, though, with women. She may've just seen a caterpillar and that be it. Aimi's panic filled the air around her, her body tensing with every sound amde. Her breathing was choppy, "Th-there's someone." Sitting down on the ground, her back straight, Aimi attempted to attempt to bring her breath back to norm. Sending occasional glances in the direction of the door, Aimi's panic slowed as nothing seemed to happen as of yet.

Someone? Someone where? Hisoka stared to the door again, moving towards it. "Outside?" He slid the door open fully, peering out. He hadn't seen anything as of yet, but Aimi must've seen something. [Post for Nami next post. >O ]

Aimi nodded, her head jerking up and down quickly. Whatever, or whoever, was out there, she wanted it/them gone. Aimi's eyes darted towards Hisoka, worriedly. When Aimi's pulse had slowed, she gathered enough courage to stand behind Hisoka, "In the trees over there." Nodding her head in the direction Aimi had seen the flash of color, Aimi held her breath expecting her death fast approaching. If she were to die, she wouldn't break her habbits to Hisoka; he deserved to die happy.

Nami finally heard some of their thoughts; their messages. She peeked with one eye at the tree, expecting them to come barging out into the trees in search of what she had seen. She sighed and dropped her head a bit, swinging her hand out from behind the tree with something like a 'halt' gesture. Her right foot stepped out, carrying her body with it. Maybe they'd recognize her and save her some trouble. Not that it'd help.
