{This is a literate to advanced literate role play.}
And so our story begins....
"...The Humans, Elves, and the rest of the alliance were on the very edge of losing. They only had so much time left until they ran out of supplies and moral. If they didn't win then everything that they had worked for through these past years of war would be entirely lost. The S'varian’s also had no intention of losing either. And so, they interlocked into one final battle. Every soul that was able bodied and even those who were not brought their swords and charged strait into the battlefield. This battle lasted for... quite a while. The days turned into weeks and the weeks turned into months. There was no end in sight and the alliance was ready to throw down their swords and submit.... That is until Achle came, riding over the hill on the back of the goddess of the wind, carrying Rivia. The ones who were able to witness this event say that when he pointed the tip of Rivia towards the heavens that light shined down upon the holy blade from both the moon and the sun. With the power of that sword flowing through his very soul he struck the blade down into the ground. Rays of light shot out through the air and roared towards the army of the S'varian’s. With power far mightier than that of the strongest tidal wave of the sea the army of demons was destroyed! Cheers erupted out from our holy army, chanting Achle's name! Achle then grabbed the hilt of Rivia and as he pulled it out from the ground, a tower of walls shot up from the very the belly of mother earth. The wall expanded out all around the S'varian’s, trapping the wretched demons inside...."
"...What happened then? Tell us! Tell us please, Grandpapa!"
"Well... Achle was taken back to Ethelia and crowned as their new king. He kept Rivia by his side until he died. They say that during the year of his death that he took his beloved sword and hid it away in the deepest caves along with many other treasures."
"Whadda 'bout the S'varian’s?"
"The S'varian’s were forced to stay behind the wall that had surrounded them. Achle's Wall stretched for miles upon miles and they could find no way out. The wall even stretched out to the sea and beyond. It was far too tall to climb and too thick and powerful to break. And so they stayed inside, isolated together. It is said that the lands there grew dry and poisoned, and so they died due to poison and starvation. And Achle's Wall still stands to this day. Many people have tried to get passed it without success. If this war or even Rivia existed is a mystery. But we do know that Achle was once our king and we praise him to this day for his great courage and strength. And this great wall that King Achle created is still standing, keeping whatever horrors may lay inside a secret... or the S'varian's."
===================
That is the story of the great war fought between humans, elves, the other races and the S'varian’s. The reason for this war has never been known and if the war itself was actually real is unknown as well. Even the S'varian's are considered to be little more than demonic fairytale figures.
But the war was real. Many, many years ago the war, known as the Great War, came and wiped out nearly countless amounts of people. The S'varian’s were the race that had triggered the war out of the desire for more land. Humans, Elves, Dwarves and many other races all fought violently against each other. It were the Elves who were the first to see the errors of their ways and were able to convince the others that if they wanted to survive they needed to go after their united enemy: the Svarian’s. Together. The war lasted on for years on end. It was only until Achle, a simple human soldier, had found a single sword known as Rivia that he had been able to bring the war to an end. Using the sword he locked the S'varian’s away and was crowned king of the human kingdom Athelia.
The S'varian’s were left captive inside of their barrier since that fateful day. They soon made it their home and built a new kingdom. However unlike the ones that lay outside of the wall the S'varian’s had remained aware of what had been going on in the world that they could not touch. They have remained, poised and ready, to take up revenge for being trapped in a rotted world for so long. They worked diligently to find a way through the wall that keeps them locked inside. And, after so many years have passed that the outsides world has forgotten and turned them into myth, they have found a way to send their magic through the wall. However they will not strike yet. They have been waiting for eras and are willing to wait for just a little bit longer. They are waiting carefully for the right moment for when they can send their magic out and destroy those who had forced them into captivity for so long.
And the people who have lived outside of the walls, in the fresh air, are almost completely unaware. The wall that separates the S'varian's from the outside world has remained but a mystery that has baffled magicians and researchers for thousands of years. As they are now the S'varian's will have no trouble taking lives.
However, help is coming... in what must be the most unlikely form possible.

Rules:
Basic role play rules apply, as do the rules of this guild. This is a literate to advanced literate role play.
In regards to RACES: You may pick whatever race you'd like to be. However if you want to be S'varian or your own original race you must first act me for permission. To ask for permission for an original race just send me a PM with a description of the race. It doesn't have to be long. I just want to know about them. Like, "elves are known for their slender frames, long pointed ears" ect.
Another note on races: I'm not allowing any race to have a lifespan over a hundred years. If you WANT your character to be over a hundred years old they have to look like they're a dead sack of potatoes. I'm tired of seeing these three hundred-year-old girls who still look like they're pretty sweet sixteen princesses. If they look that way it has to be unnaturally done through magic. If you're dead set on having a character who's over a hundred and doesn't look like a dead sack of potatoes I want you to send me a PM asking for permission and giving a good reason for why they're as old as they are.

The Geography:
KINGDOMS
Underlined kingdoms are kingdoms created by the RP members.
Ethium: Ethium lays on the western shores and was originally human kingdom. However during a depression in Ardinya many Elves immigrated to Ethium and mixed with Humans. Due to interracial marriages Ethium is the one of the few places where one can find half-elves in high population. They are known for their economic preservation and the population is made primarily of half-elves.
Viraceos: This kingdom demonstrates their power in physical prowess and the idea of unity. Multiple races live within the kingdom of Viraceos in different counties. Every county is "cut" into even pizza-like shapes. In the center is their capital and is where all of the races come together. The county borders themselves are not generally reinforced, allowing all of the races to mix. Viraceos takes up just about all of the eastern coast.
Ardinya: A larger kingdom than Ethium and that sits directly in the to the west. As opposed to actual warfare Ardinya is made mostly of merchants and is protected by their difficult-to-cross terrain, serving as their own defense. Ardinya is actually known for sporting skilled soldiers, however, Ardinya prefers to remain a peaceful nation and therefore hardly engages in any political affairs in other countries that involve violence.
Ethelia: The first human kingdom known in history. It takes up most of the northern lands and has one of the strongest militia to boast. Their western mountains are where most elves use as their home.
Thorndon
The Dwarves City is as vast as the mountain ranges of the north, its vast central city is stationed under the highest peak, and the King himself holds residence in one of the peak’s natural caves. The city is divided into three sections, the Central City which is where all commerce and political activity takes place, the central city spans about 6 days walk from each side, and is several hundred floors. The King and political chamber are located at the very top of the Central City’s levels. The city is connected with vast connections of pulleys and shoots to transport goods and on occasion people quickly and efficiently. The Second is the Inner Ring which is the residential area and spans the rest of the mountain range, the Inner Ring is divided into towns and communities that all have their own council chambers that send and receive news from the King. The third is the Outer Section; the Outer Section is for those dwarves who deiced they want to live not in the Mountain but on or in the area surrounding the mountain. These men and women and for those who wonder into Dwarven territory are subject to Dwarven law however due to the difficulty of communicating needs or wants they have very little to no say in the government. The lands surrounding the mountain are harsh during winter due to the extreme snow storms but during summer and spring the ground is perfect for herding cattle and other live stock.
The dwarves are known for their tenacity and their city is an extreme example of it, most of the products that come from the City are well crafted weapons especially the battle hammer and ax, they are also apt in swords, morning stars and other exotic weapons are rare and more often than not come from only specific blacksmiths. Other products are minerals and gems found from mining deep in the mountains. Some produce such as mushrooms or roots that are common in food can be shipped out however not many outside of the dwarves enjoy the taste. The dwarves are also known for their exemplary beer and ale.
*You can actually make your own kingdom! I'll have to approve it first, of course, but for the most part everything is good to go.
THE LAND
In the south... there's quite a bit of varying land. Most of it is smooth flat plains or long, rolling hills. The western edges of it are made of sand and the eastern is forest. Some people are able to travel far enough south to find Achle's Wall. What is beyond Achle's Wall is unknown but the best guess is that it is the start of a cold, most likely snowy wasteland.
In the west... there are trees. Many, many trees. It's made most of forests and has a few lakes.
In the north... there are trees, snow, and mountains.
In the east... there are lakes and grass with a few scattered forests. There are a few ruins here and there, if you can find them.
In the center of it all... all of the geography melts together into a single lake. There's a small island in the center, currently uninhabited.

Races:
Humans
Elves
Half-elves
Dwarves
I feel that these races are self-explanatory. Below are races that require an explanation.
S'varian: S'varian's do not have a set build. Much like Humans S'varian's body types vary. They do however tend to have gray skin and what most would consider unnatural colors of hair and eyes. They tend to have long canine teeth. The most noticeable feature that S'varian's have are their ears. The length of their ears varies but they are always tipped, just like Elf ears, except sometimes their ears have two or three points along the rim of the ear. S'varian's have a caste system. While it is possible to move into higher statuses it is very difficult and is usually a rare happening. They have their own language separate from the outside world. S'varian's have only been born inside of Achle's Wall after the Great War.

It was late morning now. The air was getting warmer as the sun rose higher and the wind was nonexistent. It wasn't hot enough yet for her to start feeling the real force of the sun but within the next hour or so she was definitely going to have to do something about her current situation.
Itazalozgur's head was bowed as if she were sleeping. This was not far from the truth, she was still in a half sleep as she was drowsy from the events that had gone on for the passed three days. At the start of her little 'adventure' she'd been found by a group of villagers and had been persecuted of practicing some form of magic. Truth be told that'd been exactly what she'd been doing but she'd denied it anyway due to the fact that the group of people seemed less than friendly about her activities.
And oh, had she been right. It'd only taken a few seconds for them to catch her and carry her back to their town. At first she hadn't been that worried- just a small argument and then she'd be on her way or break herself out of jail if it really got that bad. But no, these people wanted to go the full ten miles. Instead of any of the above happening Itaz had been tied up to a stake and had she not managed to remove her wooden doll from her belt she was fairly certain she would have been dead at the moment. Most likely in a crispier form than she was now.
She'd been tied with some kind of a thick wire and placed in a spot hidden away from the village to avoid overcrowding. The latter worked in her favor because she was able to transform the shape of her doll and simply have it carry her off. She'd been on the back of her doll for the passed two days and had only stopped briefly for small periods of time. It wasn't until last night that she'd released control of her doll and fallen asleep for a good few hours. And now she was awake, as she had been for a few hours, worn out from everything that had happened. She was almost safe- except for one little fact.
She was still tied to the stake. She'd managed to move herself and was now placed alongside the road but she had been unable to free herself from her binding. She was now laying on her side and wishing that she could feel her arm. A few people had passed by but instead of stopping to help her they'd simply walked a little faster as soon as their eyes landed on her. 'Apparently,' she thought to herself as she watched an ant slowly crawl across the road. 'I am doomed to stay stuck to this stake until I die.' She lifted her head up an inch so she could peer down the road. 'I wish I could at least get something to eat...'
{{How's that for a predicament? xD}}

Eldeth had been traveling for a couple days on foot, and was currently trying her best to not to complain about the lack of towns on her given route. It wasn’t that she was unequipped for dealing with nature and taking care of herself in the wild, mainly she just enjoyed the perks of a civilized society more than anything. The Dwarf sighed as she looked at the morning sun as it started to show its face above the tree line, “Looks liake I’ss gonna be anodar hot day.”
She adjusted the collar of her armor and bumped the war hammer she was carrying to the other shoulder and continued to drag the deer carcass she had killed yesterday behind her. The woman also had a large pack on her bag and she didn’t seem affected by the weight of the cargo.
It wasn’t until she reached a hill that the fact she was carrying so much seemed to be negated, she noticed a young woman lying on a stake and all bust dashed to her without even getting winded. She dropped the carcass and knelt down, “Hey thar lass, why you lah’ng here all trussed up? Need a hand?”

Itazalozgur had almost fallen asleep when she suddenly heard the sound of rushing footsteps. She twitched back awake and opened her crimson eyes, blinking as she lifted her head up off of the ground. A moment later her vision was filled with the image of a stout busty woman heading strait towards her. Itaz's eyes widened and her first reaction was to get up and run. That option was quickly knocked away and for a moment the S'varian began to panic. It was only when the other female came to a stop and knelt over without her weapon in hand that Itaz suddenly considered the fact that this stranger was, in fact, here to help.
“Hey thar lass, why you lah’ng here all trussed up? Need a hand?”
Her first reaction was to stare. Aside from the fact that Itaz hadn't seen many dwarves- this woman was a dwarf, wasn't she?- she hadn't even understood a single thing that she'd said. It took several seconds of repeating the strange thick accented noises that the woman had made for her to even get a gist of what had been said. And as the words came together Itaz couldn't help but stare a bit more and blink. Surely she hadn't just asked if she needed a hand, did she? Had Itaz had a smarter mouth she would have been severely tempted to respond sarcastically. At the moment, however, she was having trouble even comprehending why in the world the strange woman had asked a question that (at least to Itaz) seemed to have such an obvious answer.
"I... yes," Itaz finally answered with a small nod as she blinked a few times. "Your 'ands I needs. Shtrings in shtuck I am." She licked her dry lips with an equally dried tongue as she looked cautiously up at the dwarf. "I ve'ey appreciache to be non... 'tshrusshed.'"

Eldeth blinked as she pieced together the others speech before she gave a hearty laugh at the others poor Common before she pulled forth her hunting knife and started working with the wire. The woman’s face was a little weathered this close up, but it was still a very kind face. With in the moments Eldeth had the woman free and was then breaking the pole over her knee and setting up a fire pit. And after digging through her bag she pulled forth a water skin along with a flint an tender.
“How’s ‘bout some grub? Deer be ah’right yeah?”

Leon had, unfortunately, just run out of liquor. He shook his head as he tried to get rid of the hangover that always cropped up. He sighed and stood up, very slowly, his head seeming like it was pounding, leaves falling off his fur.
He walked. He was not sure what direction he was going exactly, but the local towns, all of them, knew him. Maybe not as favorably as some of the others, but it was better than a first impression dealing with a migraine. After stumbling and walking he found himself crossing a road. There were 2 females on the road. one a dwarf, and the other, the one who was tied up, was something he was not sure of.
Following the road he decided to just pass them by, as to not further upset his head, but the sound of food made his stomach rumble audibly. He was going to eat the next pub he found out of hearth and home.

Itaz let out a sound of sheer relief as soon as she was freed from her bindings. She rolled over and instead of getting up immediately took a minute to lay down and let the feeling return to her limbs.
As soon as she felt it was safe she slowly sat up and rubbed her arms. The one who had helped her was using the pole she'd just been tied to make a fire pit. Itaz watched her for a second before carefully standing up. She stretched and walked around to help the aching in her muscles. It had really been a terrible passed few days. It wasn't the worse treatment she'd ever had but that didn't stop it from being extremely unpleasant.
"I 'ighht bahck be," she told the Dwarf before heading off into the woods. She really, really had to go to the bathroom.
When she came back the fire pit had been set up and the Dwarf had a water skin with a flint out beside her. Then she said something about food and Itaz nodded quickly. She wasn't entirely sure what the other had said. Her way of speaking was drastically different from what Itaz was used to hearing. "Yesh."
The S'varian turned her head when she heard something coming down the road. As soon as she saw the figure on the road she realized that it was not something but in fact someone. 'Is that an animal or a person?' She looked away from them and down at her feet before walking over to stand a small distance behind the Dwarf. She watched the Dwarf work while one hand touched the clothe she had wrapped around her head to hide her ears and foreign hair color. At the very least she still had that but the backpack that contained her supplies and make-up had all been taken. 'I won't be able to bathe until I can buy more powder,' she thought to herself grimly. 'Otherwise what I have left will wash off and everyone will see that my skin is gray...'
Itaz crept a bit closer to the fire pit before she slowly sat down. She looked between the Dwarf and the... she didn't know what it was passing by for a moment before her eyes settled on the Dwarf. "Name," she spoke slowly as she pointed to herself. "Itazalozgur Olsksal’kusesch. You cahll me can Itaz. Eezier to moos' shay."

Leon smelled the dead carcas of a deer and his mouth salivated. He usually did not go for animal flesh as a source of sustenance, preferring nuts such as pecans, walnuts, cashews, chestnuts, and almonds with various succulent berries like strawberries and raspberries over a salad with a nice bleu cheese dressing and-
His train of thought was cut off as his stomach yelled at him again. He sighed and considered his options, standing still on the road. His pounding headache prevented him from doing more than one thing at a time.
he walked towards the two women and said, in a slightly regal accent "Greetings. I am called Leon. I seem to be short on food and a source of alcohol. if you would be willing to share either, I would be... erm... ingratiated to you."
