I'm so tired of being here, suppressed by all my childish fears

Lost in thought, Amber wandered alone, not caring to think of any real destination. Her head had become fuzzy since her Father had found a new mate. While she felt happy he was healing emotionally, there was no way she could call Naira Mother. Ozzie may have left her behind, but she'd come to believe she had no need for a Mother. So now with the light blue lioness having babies with her Father...her Father...it mixed her emotions in her chest.
The cloth similar to her Father's shirt that was tied to her leg started to become loose, so she sat and began fiddling with it to tighten it. It had been there on her arm since she was born. A gift from her Mother. With a sigh she looked up to the sky, her green and blue eyes filled with so many emotions.

Iniabi took a long breath, shaking his head back and forth rapidly as his eyes bound off toward the distance. He didn't know what to do at this point, he could feel his heart beginning to break. Taking care of two of his three cubs all by himself when the love of his life came up missing... He missed her, he missed her more than he could ever show anyone but he wouldn't let it show, not for his children's sake, for them he would remain strong and keep on his bright smile as if he had no care in the world...

Once satisfied with the material around her leg, Amber stood and took off into the cloudless sky. It always seemed to soothe her when she was flying so easily. A red blur caught the corner of her eye, tugging at her curiosity. With a soft flutter of her wings she swooped lower until she could land a decent distance away from who she recognized as a male lion. The markings on his fur facinated her. "Um..hello..?"

Iniabi was hardly paying attention, he had come out all this way to get some alone time and to think about everything that was going on in his life. That was, until the voice broke into his thoughts and caused him to immediately paste on that fake smile, that fake smile that everyone had come to believe was real. "Oh, hello!" He stated, his head turning to address the girl. She looked... oddly familiar and a pang rose up in his heart. Her markings reminded him of Kitten...

Amber tilted her head to the side as she walked closer, finally stopping a few feet away and sitting down. Her tail, one identical to her Mother's, curled around her paws as she smiled softly. "It's beautiful out today...isn't it? I am Amber...who are you..?"

"I... well.. yes, it is." He stammered but regained his composure well as a small smile placed itself at his lips. "My name is Iniabi." He said at long last, straightening himself as his eyes glanced at her. "Amber is a very pretty name." He commented, trying to forget about his formal thoughts. Having a pity party would certainly do him no good... especially right now.

A blush colored her cheeks, a softer smile forming. "Thank you Iniabi..." She took a moment then to look over his markings a bit better, then fixed the cloth on her upper arm. "I wish it would stay still..." Frowns softly, trying to fix it again.

She hesitated for a moment, then gave a soft nod and held her leg out. "Ok...thank you Iniabi. Just please be gentle...it was a gift." Smile softly, looking at him.

Iniabi gave her a soft smile, "I promise, I won't hurt it in any way, shape or form." His eyes reflected a soft nature as he gently moved forward to fix the material for her. After he finished he looked back up, "How is that?"

By the time he'd finished, she had a very soft blush on, though her eyes shone with greatfullness. "It's much better, thank you." Feeling this kind of conversation would go nowhere, she changed the topic. "Do you live here..?"

Iniabi turned his head and rubbed the back of it with his paw, "Well... honestly... I don't know.. My parents and siblings live beyond the ridge.. and I recently well... kind of moved I guess you could say..."

Amber tilted her head as he seemed to get rather uncomfortable, a sad expression crossing her face. "Well...my siblings are too young to hang around with much right now and my Father got a new mate...I miss my Mother..." Curls her tail around herself.

Iniabi couldn't help but frown. He gently wrapped his paws around her to give her a hug, "I'm sorry... I'm kind of a similar problem... My sister disappeared not too long ago... and none of my family know where she is.. And my mate... she disappeared on me too.. I've had to raise my son and daughter this whole time alone."
