I'm curious, I'd like to know what was your first piece of lolita clothing/accessory you ever had?
I bought a headdress about 5 years ago at a convention. I had no idea what to wear it with but I got it anyways. It makes me sad that I didn't wear it much, especially now that I know of the amazing fashion it sprouted from. o wo"

My first piece would half to be a small black top hat (like the one my avatar is wearing).
I don't really care much for purses... x)
Sadly, though, that's like the only accessory I have (the small black top hat) because I prefer the leggings (maybe that's an accessory? ) and the awesome boots~

Hmmmm... My grandmother made me a choker a few years ago. It's not precisely Lolita, nor did I dress according to it before, but it's still lovely and somehow goes with the fashion.
After that, I made a headdress early this year.

A Moi Meme Moitie jsk was the first loli thing I bought.
It is still, by far, the favorite piece I own & the dress I wear most often.

My first accessorie was an antique pewter necklace a dear friend bought for me as a Christmas gift.
Its very beautiful. Its heart-shaped and has 16 tiny (real) crystal outlining it and a cameo picture of a primrose in the middle. That was a year ago.
It goes great with Lolita. I wear it all the time.
(It really is an antique, its from 1907).

My first pieces all showed up around the same time, so I'm not sure which one was officially it anymore. I bought a Meta Military set [with a skirt and jacket], a Meta LP OP [which I later sold because I didn't end up modifying it like I'd planned], and a Meta Sailor JSK which a friend bought me for my birthday.
... I'm sure you can tell, but Meta's always been one of my favorite brands. ^^;

its been so long i dont even remember anymore. The thing that comes to mind was a crushed velvet maroon bouse with black lace that i made out of an old halloween costume. That was nearly 5 years ago, in the middle of 8th grade.

A Moitie JSK. I was so worried that it wouldn't fit. But it did and I love it.
I probably had some other things that I later used with lolita. But it was the first thing I owned that was actually meant to be lolita.

The first brand item that I bought:
Moi meme Moitie Leather Corset. Pretty soon followed by a Moitie Cutsew & Skirt set with hardanger embroidery. Mmm.
Before that, I'd made myself miniature top hats, and I had an off brand black blouse that I still wear frequently.

Miki-San-X My first item was a white lacy headdress I made myself ^___^ lol i have the same bows, did you get them from walmart too. Ironically, I wanted to buy some white ones like that but they were out of stock. Takins my bows, lol jk

Mmmmm Baby, the Stars Shine Bright magical ice cream jsk. I remember how proud I felt when I got it in the mail. I worked my a** off that summer to get lolita.

An offbrand dress which I bought in a store in England. I had only learned what lolita was that summer, and the more I learned about it the more I liked it.
It's still one of the best dresses I own.
