Zaxe was feeling odd. He didn't feel violent, just distracted, like he was a ghost in his own body. His steps were far from the measured, precise paw-beats he took when he was all-there. No. He was haphazard at best, completely undirected at worst. But he was...happy. Yes, that was the word. It was as if something warm spread through him, as the sun beat down on him, but this was something else. A warmth he had not felt in a while. Contement.

A grin spread across the Zune's face, and he would have been happy to wander for a while like this. That is, until a large ball of fur crashed into him, and toppled him to the ground.

Zaxe got up more slowly, still reeling slightly from the hit. As the brightly-coloured zune skipped around, words tumbling from his mouth at a rather unneccessary speed, Zaxe thought, and all Zaxe caught was cake. "ca-ake?" Zaxe's voice was rusty with disuse, and it was both rough and slightly broken.

Zaxe blinked as the zune dumped hisself next to him. That ear...it looked so pretty, and so chewable....edging himself closer to sherbert, he gently nipped at the ear, and giggled. But the giggle was slightly...off. It didn't sound so good.
