The title pretty much says it. I want a roleplay that abides the rules set by Max Brooks' Zombie Survival Guide. More specifically, I would like 1 - 6 people here, plus myself obviously, either in a roadtrip or playground scenario. The prior would essentially be a trip across the States in search of a better place, with a large scale zombie outbreak the extent of which the survivors become gradually aware. The latter was inspired by this picture, and contains less SMGs and last cigarettes, and more cute clothes and ******** Never-Never-Land. Also, it would only START on a playground. We could basically continue it until their adulthood. Assuming there will be one.

I would want to do a road trip but that's the more common one and
playground with kids sounds more original (can't decide crying )

Hmm, actually I prefer the playground one as well. Perhaps because roadtrips are easier to come by...
Right!! Suggestions?
I think the profiles should include at least the following items in any form you like:
-role in the party
-name
-age/gender
-height/weight
-physical description
-mental description
-brief history
No adults or kids above the age of 12 unless I permit it.
Weapons will be pretty ex tempore, as kids won't be carrying them and don't know how to use them, except if they're street kids. Again, ask for my consultation if you're in doubt.
Let your imagination prance around freely and throw your ideas forth for others to judge! And remember: if it's Burton, it's hip!

I am totally in for the road trip one! If you guys accept me into it I'll then put up my character info. This sounds like a lot of fun...maybe the two can...I don't know...Meet up somehow? Or have an encounter? Just throwing out an idea =D

Personally I prefer the kids one. xD
I dunno, the two meeting would set off the balance, seeing as a road trip is for teens/adults and a playground is strictly for kids and child characters.
I'll make up my little monster:
-role in the party: Semi-Leader, but also a loner (Can I be the oldest?)
-name: Bruce Nickel
-age/gender: Male, 11
-height/weight: Normal height, weighs slightly less than average
-physical description: Skinny and seemingly weak, but cunning and fast. Has a bowl-cut sort of hairstyle, brown hair, and green eyes. Freckles.
-mental description: A loner by nature but also a strong leader when it comes to serious things like survival.
-brief history: An orphan since his birth, he lives with foster parents that neglect him daily. He lives alone among 3 other kids who are almost half his age and has to sit them constantly. Quite responsible, but has a bad temper. He also plays little league baseball regularly with a bunch of older kids in an abandoned house's back yard.
Is this okay? I was thinking to start this one off we could have the kids and their parents at the park, having fun, and then a smallish crowd of zombies attacks unexpectantly. The kids that are stupid go to help their parents and die/get bitten trying, the ones who don't necessarily care/know what to do stay on the playground, hiding. And then when the zombies see them and start to invade, they take charge and do what they can.
Sounds good? I don't want to control this, just making a suggestion based on my, uh, mindset or something. xD
