Having completed her daily training with her mother and siblings Amaranta was wondering the pride on her own. She was interested in meeting members of the pride she had yet to meet, she just wasn't sure as to where to find someone to meet. Not only was she unsure as to where to find someone she hadn't met before but she wanted to make sure she was making the right connections, connections that her mother would approve of.
Amaranta stopped at the waters edge to look at her reflection in the water, she smiled happy feeling she was still just as beautiful. She was happy with her situation in life at the moment, sure she was worked hard to be loved in her family, but she had looks and she knew enough that looks could get her some where. Now she was working on the next step, making connections, everything was about connections in the pride.

The gray leopard made his way to where he usually rested in the middle of the day. Not that he always needed to 'rest' considering he didn't always have a full day's work to do all the time, but he'd grown rather fond of the view from that particular area. Once there, with a sigh the male swiftly made his way up to a low branch of a rather stout tree, slumping down and allowing his tail to hang down in perhaps too much of a relaxed manner. He still hadn't made too many acquaintances despite being with the pride for quite some time now.
Itimu yawned again, eyes lazily scanning the immediate area around him when he spotted a familiar shade of purple just several yards away. Atia, an elder of the pride and his very first acquaintance after having settled with the Binadamu, came to mind at the sight, and he let an inkling of a smirk grace his usually stoic face. So with a bit of curiosity in his eyes he watched the cub make her way around the pride, wondering if she would even notice him hanging there. If she was as observant as her mother, that would probably happen sooner rather than later.

It didn't take long for Amaranta to spot the older leopard up in the tree. She wasn't sure why he was up there, and she wondered if she should say anything to him at all, perhaps he was trying to get away from everything for awhile. However she decided that he was an adult, and building relationships with adults in the pride was something that was very important for her to do, as they were the ones in power right now.
"Hello there." Amaranta called up into the tree, hoping she wasn't disturbing him, if she was she might be starting this relationship off on the wrong foot. "My name is Amaranta it is nice to meet you."
