Curriculum for the Swordsmanship Classes

Objective:

The objective of this class is to gain the ability to use a weapon. Starting this class you should at least be able to hold your weapon, but by the time you are finished you will be efficent at basic combat against an opponent.

Requirements:
The first kidou class is compulsory for everyone.
You cannot proceed to the higher class if you have not yet completed the lower.

Classes:

There are seven classes, of which the first one is compulsory.

Curriculum will be updated at the start of each lesson with the information about it. Until a certain lesson is scheduled, it's content will remain a mystery.

1) Know your weapon

Sword parts, Tsuba=handguard, Tsuka=Hilt, Tsukamaki=Hilt wrapping, Kashira=the end cap on the hilt, Mune=the back of the blade, Hamon=the bladed edge, Kissaki=the tip of the blade, Hinogi=the blood grove on some blades.
