I don't know if someone posted this i was too lazy to check all the pages but i really want this to come out, but it's one of those underrated games that playes well but not sells well so they don't make one, so who agrees with me.

I don't really see a point in a Republic Commando 2, after all the story has been pretty much explained through the books and there's still possibility that a book will explain if Sev is actually dead or not. But meh.

Lucas Arts' current statements are basically 'Force Unleashed will be our central series and replace the Jedi Knight games'

I can't wait for a new Jedi Academy if that's the case.

So far, I still consider KotOR (and 2nd) to be the better games :3
Then again, I haven't played them all...

How can that even be possible, Force Unleashed lost any place to continue when Galen died lol

The Jedi Knight series didn't only have Kyle as the main character, same difference.

That's not really what I meant the difference between them is the JK series was in the Expanded Universe after Episode VI, while TFU is Expanded Universe meant to link Episode III and IV together, which it has already done with Galen's death and the birth of the Rebellion, it can't really continue unless it wants to focus the story on non-canon such as the Sith Stalker.

Ahahaha, you and your logic.

This is basically a 'word of god' matter, they said Force Unleashed is the new Jedi Knight, and that's what it shall be.

"Star Wars The Force Unleashed: _____________________ "will be the next set of expanded universe games, not particularly tied to any timeline at all, about ridiculously powerful jedi/sith. Because spending several years on multiple game engines on one game wastes money.

I like how people ignored the bloody topic...

There is a possiblity to add a little more to the story, but not much. There are a few more worlds that will still have commandos in use, so why not make another game?

I said Lucas Arts' latest statement on their game development plans, that's not ignoring the topic.

I was hoping Republic Heroes was going to be a crossover of Commando and Jedi Power Battles rather than the god-awful abomination that it is, but that's besides the point.

I didn't ignore the topic Phantom my first post even stated what I think of a possibility of Republic Commando 2.

Razull those links say nothing about a new TFU just the Ultimate Sith Edition.

I may have it mixed up with another article then, I'll have to do some searching.

Well all they talked about for the Force Unleashed was the releasing of the Ultimate Sith Edition and what may happen in the near future with the bonus Hoth level, they talked about never actually announcing Battlefront 3 but it's in consideration for the future.

The games that are being released/re-released are the Grim Fandago and Secret of Monkey Island games.

Yeah, until I find the article however all I can say on the continuation of TFU as a series of games rather than just about Galen is that Lucas Arts wouldn't put all of that work with the game engines into just one game.

Plus imagine the sheer amount of awesome in a newer rendition of Jedi Academy with the TFU Engine at work.

Well a remake of Jedi Academy would be amazing and it's kind of obvious the combined engines weren't going to be put into one game alone of course it'll be used outside of it but not necessarily on a new TFU.
