The little cheeton slowly slipped down the cliffside to the river bank. "Tiegan sees you, funny scaries. Tiegan isn't supposed to be around you, but she's not afraid. She's gonna get a flower for momma." The cub pronounced with her nose in the air.
She'd seen them before on a family outing. The flowers grew on the otherside and even though there was a perfectly good path just a little ways down, crocidle free, Tiegan wanted this one. If papa wasn't afraid of anything, then neither was she. She could take on two...no, a bajillion scaries at once!
Her paw caught on a gnarly tree root as the reptiles started closing in. It wasn't like she was even scared now. This just made it easier for her to beat 'em all. "I westled my brover and I beat him, so I can beat you!" Even stuck as she was, she stuck her tongue out and blew a raspberry at the closest croc.

Slowly marching through the grass, the small cub made her way to where she thought she might find one of her siblings. Her mouth was pinched in a determined look, and her tail was raised above her head behind her. Mzuka hated being alone and bored. Alone, more than bored, though. And today, it seemed that everyone had disappeared after a short nap she took. "Hmph."
She looked around, spotting a ledge a few feet off. It would make a perfect perch to spy on unsuspecting creatures. Giving a smirk, she lowered her front, her rear still swaying in the air, and crawled towards the ledge. "I spyyyyy...." Her blue eyes swiveled, and she licked her lip.
"A Tiegan!"

The lanky cheetah had just returned home from one of his recent journey and one-night stand. It had dragged on his heart, and he was dying to spend time with his cubs. His cubs meant the world to him, and he found himself leaving the den less and less. He turned his head back and forth; he knew he was getting closer to the den. He had come to and from it so many times, he knew all of the scenery that surrounded it entirely.
He heard some small squeaks come from not too far off, and his heart pounded. Is this what being a father felt like? Mauja's eyes flicked back and forth frantically, trying to find the small cub that was probably his. All he saw poking out from the tall grass was a rump, and a small tail attached to it. He smiled, slowly trotting over towards it, patting the small cub, Mzuka, with his paw.
