Manorama moved threw the land. It was boring, yet she knew she'd find some fun here in a while. Fun that would last for a while. She wasn't sure how she knew, but she just did. Every day brought something fun, even if she didn't think it was until the day after it happened. She hummed no particular tune as she moved threw what some might call a forest, but the trees were spaced almost too far apart to be one.

She liked trees. They were pretty in their own little way, but it was the shade the brought for her to lay under that she liked the most. Which, that's what she decided to do. She moved towards the closest tree to her. As she reached it, she stretched, and plopped down with a small Thump. Some leaves were crushed under her body, but she didn't care.

Ariaisha was having a good day, he had eaten his full and wasn't thirsty at all. He had a productive day since he had found a large group of trees and was even now practicing his climbing skills. He knew it was odd that a full grown lion would want to climb a tree but Ary would just shrug since he already knew that he was odd. It took a bit of looking but he had found a large and strong enough tree to support his normal size and weight.

He was a good half way up the tree, happy as a cub, when the branch he was on took offense to the heavy weight on it and started to break. Ary looked down in surprise and said, "Crap!" when he saw the branch slowly separate from the trunk of the tree. With no time to do any thing else but yell out, the brown lion fell from his high perch.

Ary scrambled to grab a branch so he wouldn't land hard on the ground. He finally got his claws sunk in to a branch, and he held on for dear life since he didn't not know that he was on the last row of branches before the ground, he was thinking that he was higher then that. With both front paws wrapped around the branch he searched for another branch with his back paws.

Today was a noisy day it seemed. The tree screamed out at her. Or she thought it was the tree. She heard cracking above, but she thought it was the tree nothing else. "I am not crap you stupid tree! " She spoke with a glare at the tree. Never had a tree talked to her before, but she thought they could. They just didn't want to. She smacked the tree lightly with her tail. "Now be a good tree and shush! I'm trying to sleep" She told it as she eyed the trunk of the tree.

It almost looked as if the tree had a face, at least to her anyways. To anyone else, it would probably just look like any other trunk of a tree. The bark clung to her tail as she let it settle down at her side again. Paws crossed, still looking at the tree beside her. Oblivious to what was going on in the tree.

Aryaisha dangled on his branch with all his might, falling was not his favorite activity. When he heard someone talking really close, like on the other side of the trunk, Ary looked up suddenly and realized that he was just a feet from the ground, a yard at the most.

With a sheepish look he dropped down on all fours and now that he was on the ground he was not looking to climb again today. He shook out his fur, bits of bark dislodging, and stretched before he decided to find where the voice came from. It didn't take long for him to spot bright orange and blue in the form of a lioness, who was siting on the other side of the unlucky tree.

Thinking back to what the 'voice' said Ary came to the conclusion that this lioness thought it was the tree who spoke and not himself. Deciding to play up this opportunity Ary stands behind the trunk, doing his best to appear not there and said, "Sleep? What is this Sleep you speak off, us trees have no need for sleep."

Manorama Rolled her eyes "HA! All you do is sleep! Don't play with me tree. I'll scratch your trunk up." She threatened. She knew trees could bleed. It just wasn't the red color like hers was. It was a brown sticky substance. Never had trees talked to her until know, she they must sleep all the time. Or some type of strange day dream sorta thing. She never thought that another lion was there making fun of her stupidity.

She gave a low growl as to add on to her act of threatening the tree. Seemed like a good touch to tell them that she wasn't messing around here. She was tried... Not really, she just wanted to sleep. But the tree didn't know that.

Aryaisha, while he liked messing with people, he did not like ticking them off which by the sound of it the female really was ticked off. So saying as the tree, "Alright, alright. I give, I'll go back to sleep now." He then went silent as the tree. Waiting a few moments to let the lioness calm down, Ary stuck his head around the tree and said quietly, "Hello."

He stepped out from behind the tree fully, but kept enough space between them so the female would not feel threatened.

Even though the voice was the same, Manorama didn't even put two and two together. "OH! where'd you come from!" She said kinda shocked to see someone else here. Did he hear the tree talk to her too? Or maybe she was just going mad. She wasn't sure, and supposed it really didn't matter much anyways. She smiled at him. "I'm Manorama" She told him. It was always nice to know names. She didn't like calling others something that they weren't named.

She didn't move from her laying down spot. She was quite comfy. Unless he tried to attack her, she wasn't going to move an inch. "What do you want?" she asked as politely as she could with that sentence. She didn't see it as mean at all, but he might.... That didn't cross her mind though.

Aryaisha smiled, this female seemed quite friendly, "I came from no where and any where." he said trying to be funny, "I'm Aryaisha, though most just call me Ary. Its nice to meet you Manorama." Meeting new people was quickly becoming his favorite pastime, followed closely by story telling and jokes.

Since she didn't seem to want to move nor did she show any aversion to him, Ary came just a few feet closer then sat down. "Nothing in particular, company if your up for it, if not...." He shrugged, both in response to the way she asked her question and the end of his sentence. He really didn't have anything in particular in his mind other then not climbing anytime soon and if this bright lioness would rather be alone he could and would find some way of entertaining himself.

"Are you like a bug them?" She asked curiously. "I mean, that's what bugs do." She tilted her head. She didn't see a bug so big before, plus he looked like a lion, but he could be half bug half lion. Who knew to be exact. To her, any type of hybrid could happen. Gods to her, where half bird half lion. Which she wanted god children. Or wished she had wings of some sort. She flicked her tail and smiled at him. "Aryaisha.... Sounds like a girl name."

Ary just laughed at being called a bug, "No I'm not a bug, last time I checked I was a lion." He said between laughter. This female really was quite interesting, first talking to a tree and not finding it odd to calling him a bug. Ary wasn't even offended when she said his name sounded like a girl's name. "Well I could say the same for you Manorama. Aryaisha actually means Honorable Lord, I think my mom hoped that I would live up to my name." He was still snickering when he got a idea.

"Hey you ever play a game called 'Tag'?" It was normally a game played with many others but He was thinking it could work with just too, hopefully.

"Are you a lord then? Or a god?" She was curious and tilted her head at him. She had met one god. He was very cold to the touch. His domain, as he told her, was ice. "If so, what are you a god of. Bugs I would say" She nodded her head. He looked like a bug lion thing..... Hiding behind things to where she can't see him. Bug mischief! She just knew it. She eyed him for a moment, as if to ponder maybe he wasn't a bug after all... But then again. What did he know of what he was? She certainly didn't know what she was. Other then what other's had told her. A lioness could be a type of bug maybe?

"Maybe." She said with a tilt to her head still.

"A lord? Gods no. If I had to rule a pride I think my subjects would be truly strange. And I've met gods, I don't think they would accept me as one of them as well, let alone be a god of bugs." he paused a moment and thought about what a god of bugs would be like, "Although I think that would be an interesting god" He had met a total of two goddesses since he really started to roam about the rouge lands, both unique in there own ways. Ary shifted a bit so he was siting a bit more comfortably in front of Manorama. He could feel his pendent shift as well which made him think of his last encounter with a goddess, Sanaa really was something.

"You might have heard of 'Tag'?" He wasn't sure if she was just messing with him or if she really wasn't sure if she knew. Thinking it would be best to assume the later he explained the game of tag. "Well first we decide who will be 'it'. The lion who is it must then chase the other lion and tag them, hence the name tag. But there is a trick to this game. First there must be boundaries so we know where the game field is and there must be a safe base. A safe base is a place where if your touching it you cant be tagged. But like the boundaries, there is a trick for the safe base. You can not stay on the base more then 10 seconds and the person that is it can not hang around the base waiting for the other lion to come off the base."

"Lords don't rule prides... Kings do... Lords are kinda like the people who are related to the king in some way..." She told him. She thought that was true. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. She smiled at him and nodded though. She wouldn't want to rule anything. At least nothing except a rock or something that couldn't talk back to her. She wasn't that strong. Plus her rules would always change, and not everyone would understand them. "I know of a god... The god of ice. " She told him with a nod. "He was cold to the touch. Was pretty neat!"

"I might have? I can't remember." She told him with a shrug. Her mind was always changing. She wasn't sure what she had known about and what she hadn't. It was almost like there was more lions then her living in this body. But then again, who knew for sure? She was always the same name, always the same color... So maybe only one did live in this body. She was just too crazy to remember anything. "What is it? Is there another word for it?" She asked him curiously. "But it does sound fun. I like running and chasing"

"Well I'm not a lord either, I don't think" Ary knew his mother was no relation to a king but his father was a complete mystery to him. He mentally shrugged since he was to old to worry about his missing father who he didn't even need anymore. "I've met two goddesses my self, the goddess of imagination and the goddess of crafting. It makes sense if the god of ice was cold." He smile since it seemed Manorama enjoyed her god encounter, "It sounds pretty neat."

"Oh well thats ok, you might know it by another name. I personally don't know of it other then 'Tag' and its a really fun game," He then added sheepishly, "although the more players there are the more fun it is."

"If that's so, then perhaps just a two player game. I don't think we'll be running into anyone else to play with." She giggled. It seemed kinda lonely apart from the birds with in the trees. Oh they watched and chattered. Probably making fun of the weird feline creatures upon the ground. As if they couldn't get them. Though, Manorama couldn't climb worth crap. She smiled at the other. "Though, I can't think of one for the life of me."
