Thona was in a foul mood. He snarled as he moved slowly past the edges of his land. He became very irritated when nothing really happened around. He wanted to leave, yet had a bad feeling. Not sure why this feeling had crept up on him. He gave another snarl and decided to ignore the feeling. It wasn't like he cared anyways. As long as it left him and Nan out of any real danger. He lashed his tail as he walked, making noisy sounds from his bone accessories.
His feathers on his horn crown thing, moved carefully in the wind. The beats hit against the side of his cheek gently. He had grown use to that and didn't even notice them anymore. He walked in a sort of proud "Don't ******** with me" Walk as he moved away from his pride.

Valetudo'Sero was looking for a rare herb and her god senses was telling her that it was growing in this dry, dusty area. She decided to use illusion to 'hide' her wings but rather then use more power to 'hide' the rest of her she just stayed visible, besides she hated being completely invisible.
Val walked across the ground in steady and measured strides as her senses guided her unrelentingly towards the small flowering herb that when mixed with a half a dozen different components helped decrease swelling and if the flower petals were ingested would poison the fool stupid enough to eat it.
She wasn't afraid of unfriendly attention, after all she was a goddess and who would want to mess with a god? So while she kept her ears open for any sounds she did not stop or look up when her ears picked up the sound of bone rattling on bone.

It was easy to spot someone like the green lioness with bits of brown on her from far away. Thona had seen her the moment he had crossed over a small hill that surrounded his pride. He wasn't sure if the brown was her, or part of something she was carrying. It was quite far away for him to tell fully what she had... All he knew was it was a lioness for there was no mane on her, and her tail was too odd to be anything but. Though, he'd never seen a Cheeton before.
He decide he was going to play with her to see what exactly could happen. He smirked as he moved towards the lioness. Oh, fun games he'd play with her. He just didn't know what. She was way too dark for his liking. Though he had taken a black leopard and cheetah to bare his children. Though The leopard was still pregnant. But, he wasn't feeling in the mood to make another have his kids, not right now anyways. Instead, he wanted to scare her... Maybe inflict some pain into her pretty little hide. He hadn't done that in a very long time.

Valetudo'Sero just spotted the herb that she was looking for, it was growing in a very small patch in the shade of a smallish stack of rocks. The small brownish green plant blended in quite well with the dark shade and brown ground. Val sat down facing the plants and with a practiced move, pulled her herb bag off. Using care and her claws she cut a few of the plants, unlike a few of the other herbs that she harvests, these did not have thorns or other protections against being eaten, but Val was still glad for her arm guards.
Val was so focused on her harvesting that she didn't sense anyone approaching and only vaguely heard the rattling of the bones but dismissed it.

"My my... All alone, aren't we?" he spoke in a seductive voice. Perhaps he could get her to do his every need like most females that he ran into. He had a evil look about him today. He looked as if he was going to enjoy the day that he had now just thought of. A plan that wouldn't fail for sure. He knew how to handle females quite well. He lashed his tail about as he stopped close by. The only sound was the bones on his tail clinking together as he stood there. Oh, the many things he could do so easily to this female. Though her colors were a lack of interest.
He could at least hurt her and wish she had never met him. Or wish that she was never born. That was always fun. He liked to break his toys. Oh so many that there was. It didn't matter if he broke a few of them. "Not a good thing to be when out here"

Val looked up from her plant when she heard someone talking. She was slightly bigger then a normal adolescent lioness and had she been mortal the sight of a large orange and while leopard with bone decorations would worry her and the vibe she got from him would make her fear him, but she was not normal or mortal, Valetudo'Sero was a goddess. As it was Val just gave him a 'go away look' before focusing on her plants once again. She was in no mood to deal with others today since it had taken her a long while to find those small plants.

"The silent type?" he asked in a raised eyebrow. "Don't worry, I like them better" He spoke with a grin. Oh this was excellent. She couldn't or wouldn't talk. Which was better for him. Thona liked hearing his own voice anyways. His tail swished back and forth. "What is such a pretty puppet playing in the mud for?" Not that it mattered if she did or didn't. You couldn't tell, not with her green fur.

Val decided not to really respond to anything the male was saying, after all it did not really matter to her but his aidatude was quite annoying. "Did you know that all parts of Atropa belladonna contain the toxic alkaloid atropine? The young plants and seeds are especially poisonous, causing nausea, muscle twitches, paralysis. Its often fatal." She said softly as she nudged the small plant that she had already harvested into the bag on the ground, that normaly hung around her neck. Val had sliped it off when she had found the plant she was looking for.
Deadly Nightsade was not something that she had with her, nor was it the plant that she was picking but this leopardess did not likely know that. Val internaly sighed, she really did need to get some it was just a pain to find it. ((i pulled the info from wiki and it says that it is native to north africa but its wiki so im taking it with a grain of salt))

"Are you threatening me with a mire plant?" he asked her curiously. He hadn't been threatened by a plant before, so he just had to make sure. This was an interesting way to tell him to back off, which made him not want to do so even more. A female so strange as herself made Thona want to move closer to her. She fascinated him, but he didn't know why. He wanted to know why. Thona had been threatened many times, in all different ways... But a plant? How interesting.
"Do you say you are going to try to force it down my throat then?" He asked again "Or do you think I'm stupid enough to just happily eat it without any type of force at all?" He was amused by her. "I don't eat plants, so it'd be rather hard for the second choice of action"

"I never said it was a threat, just sharing some useful information." Val said quietly with no change to her tone, she did however inspect her claws before digging around her bag for a moment. The leopard had never actually threatened her, just implied it, well two could play that game. But just in case she found a small hollow gourd that contained a antibiotic salve that produced a odd numbing effect in the general area that its placed on.
"Not everything has to be eaten to have a bad effect. Some effect the skin when placed on it, others work better when placed into the blood." She smiled, but it was not a nice smile. A little bored with this tete-a-tete Val just came out with her warning, "I would continue on my way if I were you."

"You wouldn't have said it, if you didn't think I was a threat." He spoke to her with a grin. He was sure that was the truth anyways. You never tell someone about something deadly, unless you wanted to get a point across to them. Thona, though, didn't take threats as a real thing. He wasn't afraid of them.
"Well, Puppet, I'm sure I wouldn't let you come at me with a bag of plants." He grinned. "And I can't just continue on my way with a good toy such as yourself right here in front of me." It was something he couldn't ignore. At least not yet.

"Why would I think a mortal was a threat?" Val was a fairly even tempered goddess but this leopard was starting to get on her nerves. She breathed deep and counted to five trying to keep her cool. After a moment, when she thought she got her nearly non existent temper under control, she said to him, "I am no ones puppet or toy. If you know what's good for you, you will turn around and go home now, Mortal."
Val didn't dare turn her back from the leopard completely but the sooner she could gather her plant the sooner she could leave so she turned just enough to continue picking more of the plant, carefully placing each piece in her bag.

Mortal? Curiosity really fired up this time. "You speak as if your some immortal being." He didn't believe in gods, so this was hardly something he'd ever consider. He smirked at her. Oh how he was about to show her how wrong she was. How he could rip that pretty neck of hers off. Of course, he had no clue what she was.
He could taste her fear already, even though she had yet to show it. She would by the time he was done. Oh, yes. That was what was gonna happen. He could almost taste her blood. He had passed the point of wanting to seduce her now.

Val couldn't help but smile, it seemed that this leopard didn't know about her, granted few mortals did, but it started to give her an idea. An idea that would satisfy her raising temper, teach him some manners, and get her out of their fairly safely. She gathered the last of the plant and put back on her bag. "You could say something like that."
For all intensive purposes Val was indeed immortal. Her current body could die yes but she would be reborn. She wouldn't retain the majority of her memories if past lives were anything to go by and there was no guarantee that she would even be reborn as a girl. But unless she gave up her godhood she would be reborn and in effect she was immortal.
"You don't believe in gods do you?" Val smiled, a calm and collected smile. "Maybe its time you begin to believe, even if its just a little bit." With a smile she started to manipulate the illusion power that every god had, she began to disappear, or at least appear to. Once she was gone from sight she stood up and started to fly just a bit so she was no longer leaving tracks in the dirt and grass. "There are things in this world that few understand, myself included, but a mortal like you? One who is willing to attack anyone who strikes his fancy? Until you believe in things much bigger then yourself, I wonder how much you will ever truly understand." He could hear her after all the illusion was just one of not being there but she wasn't stupid. Once she said what she wanted to say she stepped up higher into the air and a bit away. She wanted to see what he would do, she hadn't have to deal with violent mortals before so this would be a learning experience.

He must have eaten something bad if he was seeing things disappear. Was that female even real? He could hear her voice, but he put nothing to it. Perhaps he was dreaming? Thona didn't put much fear into it. He wasn't really one to see things like that. He'd just assume one thing or another. She did know about plants, maybe she did something that he didn't see and he ate something that made him hallucinate?
He shook his head and decided it was best to move on. To forget about this weird encounter. Perhaps the heat had gotten to him? he'd not put another thought on the matter.
