The night was young and the air seemed calm. This would be the first time Mistress would come out from hiding in several years. No one had ever seen before. Not even the lycans she, herself had brought into existance. Her heart ached for her lost children. If it was up to her, she would have kept them all by her side, but do to the current war between lycans and werewolves she had no choice but to send them away to safety.
Mistress crept out of the hidden cave in which she had spent most of her life. Her eyes narrowed as she stared into the darkness at the world she knew long ago. She sighed as thoughts ran through her mind. The battle between both species was getting worse everyday. There was no other choice but to call out for help. Would her children come to her aid even after she had abandoned them? Or will they turn their backs to her and let their own kind slowly die away?
With a heavy heart and mind full of doubt, the proud elder raised her mighty head and howled into the night.

That howl. Was that the call that she had been waiting for? It must have been. Vikira sent a returning howl and bounded out of her mountain home. She had taken to the woods upon the mountain face, keeping away from those that could do her danger. She lept over fallen logs and eventually noticed someone she remembered. Auctoria had been hiding around here as well? She let out a more quiet howl, of greeting, and fell into pace beside her night colored friend.

Lucien was wandering around the mountains and trees. The night was making him more of a hunter than his moral half. He was still young and he was restless. His destiny was not determined by the mistress yet. She had become an evanescent fog before he could be judged. He wanted to be Royally Blessed but that seemed far out of reach. He still hoped that he could be placed in his life. His mother died in childbirth so he was only around strange Lycans. He bounced around the Lycan world too much to know if he was even educated in their ways. However, he learned of the Mistress from stories that seemed to good to be true. The stories made him curious.
He suddenly felt restless, as if something had emerged in him to make him a wolf. It was a sudden howl of a long forgotten entity. One thought came to mind, Mother. He gazed up at the loving, nurturing moon. The only constant mother he had known. Yet, this full, restless being that was emanating from his midnight colored fur made him sing.
He held his head up to the sky and did the one natural thing that the Mother Moon had taught him. He sang a song of howls, praying that the Mistress would hear his plea. As he continued to sing, he walked at a quickened trudge. Find Mother! He screamed in his head.
The world was coming alive with howling songs!

"Yes....It has been far too long." The other panted, not having run for so long in a good while. "It brings me to think.....is there a reason behind this? Are we to take the land which is ours at last!?" The thought quickened the female's pace and got her to catch up again.

Her ears perked and her head snapped up as she heard several howls in the distance. They've listened! Mistress screamed in her head still unsure if what she heard was real or if her mind was playing tricks on her. She raised her head once more and let out a longer and more loving howl. The elder female paced back and forth in front of the cave in which she lived. A small whimper escaped her as she became more impatient as time went by.

"She is close!!" Lucien exclaimed. He picke up his pace and howled louder. He felt a pull that was very strong. It was like he was meant to be there and right then. Even though he was moving fast, it was not fast enough. The pull became agonizing and strong, to the point where he started to sprint and pant. What else could he do? He tried to quicken but his body was giving into pressure.
He had heard stories that depicted this mother as fierce. However, other stories also added a loving concept to her face. What would she be like? He continued to wonder. He could not help but to ask himself questions. It also distracted him from the aches that the conflict within his veins were causing.
As he continued he felt the pull stop him. It him like a clenched hand and tugged him to the side. He looked up in anticipation for what was going to occur. His eyes locked onto some large, regal figure.
"Great Mother," He bowed in relief and wonder. He had found the Mistress at last!

Without waiting for an answer, Vikira's senses pulled her to push forward. She noticed there was another there, but paid no mind. She scrabbled up the side of the cliff and panted at the feet of her mother. "I....have returned....mother..." She panted, dipping her head.

Lucien was very flustered by the radioactive woodland Lycan female. However, it was not his place to be upset with an older Lycan. Quite frankly almost every Lycan was going to be wanting the Mistress's attention. Lucien wanted the Great Mother of Lycans to notice him, know is plea, and maybe answer some questions that have stewed in his mind for years.
He kept his eyes down but listening to every breath that the Lycan elder took into her lungs. He wondered if he would ever get to hear her speak to him and tell him what he needed beyond all needs to know.
Please mother... His body trembled with many pleas.

Au panted out in to the clearing and saw her friend and an unknown Lycan standing in front of...Mother."Mother,we have come! And this is just the beginning! The war is over,we were defeated, but we survived, waiting for the day when all would be avenged..."She looks at the shadow-like juvenile."A new generation has arrived, they await for you to guide them."She bows deeply.

Mistress took several steps closer to them, carefully listening to their heartbeats and watching the fire in their eyes. She looked over at the youngest of them all and gave him a warming smile. You have so much ahead of you my child. She used her powers to speak into his mind so the others would not know. If only he knew whose child he really was.
The elegant yet powerful female looked over them once more. "I cannot yet explain the troubles we are yet to face, children. The worst part of the war will be upon us soon." She frowned slightly and stared into the darkness behind them. "We must wait for more to step up, defend our land and our freedom. Do not be afraid, you will be trained by the best...my very own guardian...Malachi."
At that moment, a enormous dark figure appeared out of the cave behind Mistress. Golden eyes glowed feriously as the creature stepped out into the moonlight. He walked with much grace, yet his muscular body trembled with power as he came closer to the group. Large archangel wings unfolded behind him. Malachi stopped next to Mistress and slowly eyed each lycan there. His eyes rested on the youngest and smirked. My past never fails to catch up to me. "So this is all that have come forth? We will surely need more than this if we intend in taking back what is rightfully ours..."

 ...Mother.
What a foolish term. The Lycan waiting in the fog and dark lifted her head, listening to the howl that wound to her through the trees. Mistress. Was this it, then? The calling of all Lycans? The taming of them all after so many years of wild, delicious irreverence? No... It couldn't be. She couldn't be so foolish, to expect her reborn children to belly before her again after she had left them.
But the howl said otherwise. It wound its way through the air and around her, twisting its way into her ears, around her paws, into her fur. It pulled at her - it was a true summoning call. Aosoth's jaws parted with it, gleaming fangs extending as she looked to the creature on her arm. It was a falcon; but a frightening one. Where a feathered head should have been, there was naught but a bony skull. Whether this skull was helm or head, only Aosoth knew. Thin chains crossed themselves over his chest.
"What do you think of this, Aym?" the Hellhound asked her familiar. "Do the Lycans return so easily to one who left them for rot?"
The falcon fluffed his wings, turning beady eyes to his Lady. He crooned - a harsh sound that, low in his throat, sounded like bones grinding away. Aosoth smiled tightly. "No," she replied, to some infernal comment only she could decipher. "I thought not."
Aosoth lifted her head and let out a croon of her own: beginning as a snarl, it rose into a howl that pitched high above the trees and over the land. Scorn was rife in its throaty tones. What a foolish notion, Mother.

Au watched in awe as the gigantic elder drew near. How she wished to be like them, creatures who fear nothing! But yet, something was wrong. She heard a howl of defiance, witch she didn't understand.-It must have been one of those lycans who thought Mistress betrayed them. What a silly notion!-she bristled in the direction of the defiant howl.Yet the howl awoke something in her heart,a sense of sadness. She turned to Mother, who undoubtedly heard the cry,and thought how painful it must have been to hide,to betray her own children. But then another feeling coursed through her heart,a feeling of detirmination. She will do everything in her power-... No.That's not enough. She WILL bring the lycans together. Whatever it takes.
