Sitting up and pulling sheets around her, Lee bit her lip, looking down at a sleeping Rory next to her. For once, she'd woken up early on her own. While the night before had been by no means what she'd call "fun", Lee surprised herself when she realized that she wasn't at all embarrassed, nor did she feel the shame she'd been expecting. Sitting forward to kiss Rory's cheek, she stood, rummaging through Rory's drawer to find a shirt.
She'd need to try check on Lauss, who was likely already awake and gone by now, and to find some clothes of her own for the day, and so, regrettably, she'd be leaving Rory's side for a bit. Fully dressed, Lee looked back and smiled faintly at Rory before heading out. She'd try and make it quick... Hopefully she'd be back before he woke.

Rory just made a soft noise in his sleep at the kiss, rolling over a bit to flop on his stomach, one arm draped over the edge of the bed, sheets having moved around due to his and Lee's movements so that his back was exposed. Sighing, he buried his face into his pillow, not at all ready to be awake yet and only very dimly aware that his lover was gone.

Rory wouldn't be alone for too long before another young girl came for a visit. Hailey had just missed Lee's departure, and had taken it upon herself to give a certain didikai boy a visit today before she went off to school. Smiling as she found the door open, she casually walked inside, her grin widening at the sight of Rory asleep. Pausing for a moment and giggling quietly, she cocked her head. Well, he certainly was a much easier target now than he'd been yesterday.
Making her way over to the bed, Hailey sat next to the boy, bending over to see Rory's face better, her long, golden hair brushing against his scarred back. She whispered a soft, "Hey, you..." to attempt to wake him.

"Hnn," was all she got from the boy, as he squirmed a bit in bed, not wanting to wake up. He moved to roll onto his side, curling up in a ball, the sheets no longer doing much at all to cover him.

Hailey stuck her tongue out at the boy, pouting for a moment before whispering into his ear, "If you don't wake up I'll just have to crawl under there with you..." She noticed, then, that there weren't too many sheets to crawl under, and that he was... well, naked. Grinning mischievously, she leaned over him, and holding herself above the boy and started whispering again. "Waaake uuup..." She wasn't at all shy of nakedness, having seen her fair share over time, and kissed his neck, hoping that might do the trick.

The boy sighed softly and murmured Lee's name, moving a hand up to the back of Hailey's neck. Somewhere in his sleep-addled mind, he was pleasantly surprised to find that his girlfriend was frisky in the mornings.

Good, he was awake. And had he said her name? So he remembered her after all. She'd taken that as an invitation to go a bit further, and so she did, biting her lip as she pulled herself under the sheets...
Lee walked through the camps, thankfully having caught Lauss before he'd run off for the day, and gotten changed as fast as she could into something less casual than Rory's t-shirt and more comfortable than what she'd worn to impress her mother. Had she had money, she probably would have stopped to get breakfast, but, alas, she was still without a job. Walking up to Rory's vardo, she stopped a moment as she heard the faint sound of a girl giggling inside. Great. Hailey was back. What did she want now?
Stepping through the open doorway, Lee's heart dropped, her breathing choked, and her jaw fell. A single sentence repeatedly ran through her mind: I'm gonna kill her... Well, just as soon as she got the feeling back in her arms and legs.

Rory groaned a bit feeling the girl sliding into bed, his eyes starting to open. "Lee, I ain't exactly ready fae another gae." And then he wondered when Lee had gotten blond hair. Moreover, why was she standing at the door like she was going to kill someone. "What...?" He looked down and saw Hailey and moved faster than he'd ever thought he possibly could, practically leaping from the bed, pulling the sheets with him to cover himself. He tripped over the sheets and fell on his back, cursing loudly, then sat up, desperately trying to keep himself covered and looking from one girl to the other.
"Nothin' happened, Lee. At least, I donnae think anythin' happened," Rory said, looking all sorts of confused. "What happened?"

Giving Rory very little attention, Lee's eyes were glued on the girl still in bed, giving Hailey a death glare and very much intending to kill the girl if given the chance. "You. Outside. Now." Her voice was relatively calm, considering the expression on her face.
Hailey sat up, rolling her eyes at both Rory's fall and Lee's words. Her voice was casual, as was her posture, the girl waving her hand flippantly as she said, "Look, we didn't do anything. Don't get so mad. All I did was touch him a little..."
Shaking her head with disbelief, Lee lost her voice for a moment, finally declaring, "Oh my god, I'm gonna kill you." She couldn't get herself to yell, but her voice was clear and strong, and she sounded like she planned to keep that promise. Every muscle in her body was tense, not only furious that the girl had been doing whatever she had with Rory, but that she had the audacity to admit it so easily. Not another moment went by before she stormed past Rory, still ignoring the poor boy, and swiftly grabbed a good portion of the girls hair, dragging her through the vardo toward the door and ignoring Hailey's cries of anger. Lee was, after all, doing a number to the girl's pretty blond locks tugging carelessly at them like that, so naturally the girl was quite upset.

Rory's eyes were wide and he scrambled backwards out of Lee's way, trying not to be stepped on as she went on the warpath. Soon as the girls were out the door, he grabbed up the pants he'd tossed over the chair the night before and tugged them on, hopping a bit as he headed for the door, barely fastening them up as he headed down the steps. He wasn't entirely sure he should stop what was going on, even with neighbors stopping to look or coming out of their homes to see what was the commotion.

Hailey had started to fight back, though "fight" may be too extreme a word for what the girls were doing. Hair pulling and name calling ensued, neither Lee nor Hailey gaining the upper hand aside from a few lucky elbows in the face on Lee's part. A devious grin spread on Lee's lips as she dragged Hailey back to Rory's vardo, releasing the girl for a second as she reached for a pair of scissors.
The blond's face fell, and her expression showed clearly that she believed she was going to die. But something much more horrible than getting stabbed followed -- Lee, with a devilish smile, cut a large chunk of the girl's tresses off, a long lock of hair falling to the ground.
And then, silence.
Falling to her knees, Hailey's hand trembled as she reached for the golden hair, tears welling up in her eyes at the sight. "You b***h..." was all she could manage to whisper, slumping over and pulling her hands up to cover her face. Her hair... her beautiful hair...

Rory had sat down on the steps of his vardo, unsure what else to do. He certainly wasn't getting in the middle of a girl fight. He'd learned well enough with three sisters. He watched Lee run in and then back out with the scissors, actually starting to get up, figuring Lee had snapped, then stopped when he watched her cut Hailey's hair. Girls fought so weird. Punches and kicks and the occasional bottle broken over one's head, the boy could understand, but cutting each other's hair and calling each other names? What?

At this point, Hailey was sobbing loudly into her hands, and Lee wasn't sure if it was because she didn't care who heard or if she was simply trying to evoke pity. Cocking an eyebrow, Lee was satisfied that she'd gotten her revenge, and quite possibly then some. Hailey wouldn't be getting so much attention without her best feature anymore. Looking down at the girl, Lee took a breath, calming herself before uttering, "Go home. I swear, I'll shave you bald if I see you here again."
Looking up and wiping tears away, giving the same death glare Lee'd given her moments ago, Hailey shook her head furiously. Opening her mouth to speak, all that came out were wails, the girl much too upset to actually say anything of substance.
Okay, this was just pathetic, and Lee was actually starting to feel a little guilty. Turning around, Lee glanced toward Rory, acknowledging his presence for the first time since she'd come back, and walked past him, dropping the scissors in his hands as she headed back into his vardo. While she could still hear Hailey, at least she couldn't see her.

Rory looked at the scissors in his hands and got up, going inside. "Lee, are you okay? you know I didnae do anythin' wi' her, reet? I'd ne'er do tha' t' you." He held the scissors out to the girl. "You can cut me hair, too, if'n it'll make you feel better."
