A pale girl stood in the center of a quite dance studio, surrounded by mirrors. Her pink hair was tired carefully up in a ponytail so it wouldn't get in her way and she wore a pink leotard. She strode quickly across the studio towards an old cd player that sat in the corner. She had spent a lot of time finding cds in dumpsters and street corners to dance to. It had taken a long time but she had now quite a collection of classical dance music to make her dancing come to life. She turned it on and moved into the center of the room again, taking up her pose. Her ballet slippered shoes moving up to the en point position. It had taken her years to learn how to dance like this and many bruised toes and broken toe nails but now she had mastered it. She waited for the music to start and then begun to dance. Sweat dripping from her face as she started to get into the music. Her body twisted and turned with the rythm of the music, letting the dance and music take over her mind. She danced more and more lately. Ever since Dracal had left and her father had attempted suicide she didn't want to be left alone with her thoughts. They were too confusing and she didn't like them. But with dance she was free. It felt like she had wings.

Nyx turned around suddenly. She hadn't expected anyone at the door and for a horrible second she thought that it may have been one of her parents whom she had told that she wouldn't come back to the dance studio, as it was too close to humans. She squinted as she looked towards the door. Who was it? It was a familiar voice, but different somehow. It was deeper, gruffer. "Dracal?" she asked as she padded toward the door, panting as she walked over. "Dracal is that you?" she asked again as she opened the door, faced with a cat that she hardly recognised. She was caught breathless for a second. She could see traces of Dracal in the cat that was infront of her but...but in the same moment it wasn't Dracal anymore. He wasn't a little kitten anymore and this shocked Nyx slightly. Her last resolve of keeping Dracal as a brother seemed to be going down the drain as she saw him. But the first thing she said was simply. "Dracal...you smell kinda bad!"

Nyx cocked her head to the side. She could see that Dracal had changed. Before he would have just laughed a comment like that off and said something sweet to her after but he had taken it to heart. Nyx frowned slightly. "I want you here Dracal...it's just strange is all. Seeing you after all this time. You've changed...I guess I have too." she muttered quietly looking down at her body. She had grown stronger since Dracal had been here last, like she had promised. Her tiny frail body had started to become lean and muscular rather than sickly. "I don't want you to leave again." she said quietly, looking up at him with her large pink eyes. "But you didn't visit me...atleast not that I know of." she added.

Nyx giggled softly. "You do sound a tiny bit like a stalker Dracal but I don't mind." she said softly. She then tensed slightly. How quickly they had gotten to this topic. How unsure she still was. She knew she loved him and until now she was almost sure it was only love for him as a brother. But having him infront of her now, she wasn't so sure. "Urm...I can't give you an answer yet Dracal. Hopefully I will soon enough." she said softly. She then looked at him "Do you want to come back to the house and have a shower?" she asked him, smiling softly.

Nyx shook her head softly. "No Mama has gone to visit Papa again. She goes there a lot. I think they meet up in the park and just talk or thats what I've gathered anyway. They seem to be getting on much better than they used to which is good." she said happily. Things seemed to be looking up for her and her family and with Dracal back things seemed to start going her way again. "So it would just be the two of us then." she added, her brain starting at this idea. Before Dracal left Nyx and him spent hours and hours alone together but now her mind almost paniced at the idea of being alone with him. Maybe it was because of how he was away for so long. Or maybe it was something else that Nyx was still too blind to notice. She ran over, the shirt of her leotard making a trail behind her, to the cd player where she turned it off. She picked up her kit bag, knowing that since her mother wasn't hope she wouldn't have to quickly change into her normal clothes, instead she could just do it at home. "Shall we go then?" she asked with a small smile. This was strange, very strange.

Nyx laughed. "Yeah she would start giving out to you on how you havn't been taking propper care of yourself. Even though you havn't been. I almost feel like I should give you to you instead." she said with a smile. She blushed as he complimented her. "Urm...thank you. I promised you before you left that I would get stronger and I think I have. I can feel it. I had to keep my promise to you after all." she said softly, happily. She was glad he had noticed because she could feel it. She could feel that her body wasn't the same frail one that she had before. She had changed and was stronger for it.

Nyx looked at his hand and then up at Dracal, a small smile forming on her face. "Yes...lets go home Dracal." she said taking his hand tentively, feeling its warmness flood over her. Even his hand was different, bigger, stronger. She could feel how much he had changed, but she couldn't help but feel that it was for the best. He wasn't her brother anymore. Now she could really start to think of her feelings for him.

Nyx pouted. "I can to give you a talk! You don't want to see me if I really wanted to give out to you! You would be shaking in your boots!" she said, putting her hands on her hips. Her face flushed as he whispered into her ear. "I'll have to start training you again as a dancer again. I'm pretty sure that you've atleast been slacking on that training!" she said seriously, but with a big smile on her face. "I missed you being my partner. It's not the same dancing on my own." she said softly, squeezing his hand a little as she spoke. It was true. She had been dancing constantly and trained but it wasn't as fun without Dracal dancing with her.

Nyx blushed slightly, looking up at him. "I think it will be better Dracal. I hope it is. I just need time to figure my feelings out. I thought I had them figured out perfectly until you arrived today. Now I'm not so sure." she said truthfully. "But for you that's probably a good thing."

Nyx pouted again. "It wasn't meant to be cute! I was attempting to be threatening! I guess that doesn't really work for me though, does it?" she asked, sighing with a small sigh. Nyx then shook her head. "Oh Dracal! I knew you wouldn't train without me! That's why we're going to have to have a serious training course for you now! After all I've gotten much better at dancing so you have a lot of catching up to do!" she said with a cocky grin.

She smiled softly. "It will be fun to have you around again too Dracal! I'm sorry that I don't have an answer for you now. I told you I would have one for you by the time I got back but...I'm sorry. I just need to get to know the new you...I guess." she said with a small smile as the reached the house. She opened the door and lead Dracal to the bathroom. "There are towels inside so shower away. I'll get changed while you do." she said, smiling softly.
