Story: Once, a long time ago, the mother goddess created the Earth. To rule over this, there became what was known as the Panthenon. The panthenon was used to serve as guardians to the world, and at its head, the lead goddess came to be Hera. Each goddess suckled from the milk of the Mother Goddess, to become one with the panthenon and be it's guardian. Originally, it was all good.

Hera took a consort, Zeus. She was infatuated with the mortal, and gave him the milky Ambrosia, turning him into a god. But Zeus was a playboy, and earned the wrath of the mother goddess, who refused to speak to her children, much less give them any more gifts. Enraged, Hera was blamed with the loss of control, and in a violent battle, killed zeus with her bare hands, stealing his power over the skies and thunderbolts. Try as she might, she could not replicate the power of ambrosia, her own substitute only making the demigoddesses known as amazons, powerful women warriors who swore total loyalty to Hera.

When the revolt came, it came as no surprise that Hera went down kicking and screaming, buried only after Athena was taken down, and knocked out. Since then, the stories of Hera the Wrathful have come and made her into the villain of the "benign" Zeus.

Personality:

Hera is queen of the Goddesses, and by rights can easily be considered the most powerful and dominating. She does, however, have more than enough ability to be blinded by her own ambitions and emotions. Often, she revels in being cruel to men, and flaunts her beauty and superiority to the "insects" which worship her. This attitude even flows onto her sister goddesses, though not as much. She has a love/hate relationship with Aphrodite, after what happened at Troy with Paris, but commonly refers to Athena's sound wisdom, even at times preferring to be submissive to the younger sibling, the only person whom has been referred to as "equal".

Story: One of the "big three", Athena is the second oldest of the Goddesses. Destined to be the true "lieutenant" of the panthenon, her power is second only to Hera. However, Athena was unlike her sister, having both brains and brawn, which has led her to being able to even overtake Hera in a fight numerous times, and earned the Chief Goddess's respect.

Like Hera, Athena took a consort God of her own, known as Poseidon. Unlike Zeus, Poseidon was a bit smart, although he tended to be rather secluded, enjoying playing in his oceans, and marveling at the wonders within. Like attracted like in this case, Intelligence matched intelligence. The fact he never gave much interest in knowing Athena suited her quite fine, as she focused her attention to the lands, and wars, studying mortals.

Poseidon and Athena had their differences from time to time, often non-violently. Such was the case when Poseidon desired to take over Athens. Athena's brilliance was unmatched, as she wagered the city for his powers. As History shows accurately, Athena won, and with it, the power over the earth. Odysseus and Theseus won Athena's favor, as well as other brilliant designers, such as Archimedes. He was so prized, Athena designed a small robotic owl in his honor, which the gods forged for her.

When the revolt came, Athena was taken down first. Even though the people of Athens did not wish it, they knew quite well that Athena would never agree to taking down hera's wrath in reality. Athena knew the attack would come, and willingly helped defend her people against Hera, knocking the goddess down and subdoing her. But after that, it all went black...

Personality:
Athena has never quite lost her temper, ever. Even when in fights and personal battles, the Goddess seems as though nothing can upset her. Ruled by logic and tactics, Athena is a polar opposite of Aphrodite, and somewhat Hera. She cares not for domination of anyone, and can be said to be the most "gentle" of her sisters, having never punished a single mortal. At the same time, she has been the most conservative with the Ambrosia, having never used it upon any mortal, even if she desired them. All she really wants is to have Athens back, willing to even compromise with her followers, in spite of their recent inventions. She is more than curious to figure everything out.

Story: Aphrodite is the last of the "big three", meaning she's the third goddess to be created, and holds a sway over the lesser dieties. Where Athena is a warrior, Aphrodite could be said to be a wizard or mage, using magic and manipulation to her personal advantage. Born with quite literally a silver tongue (not red like the rest), her powers of charm could sway even the pope in theory. It is because of this, she's considered very estranged from her sisters, who normally must use some display of force.

Aphrodite was known to slip ambrosia sips to a few guys in her lifetime, which eventually got her in trouble with her sisters finding out about people like Narcissus. Odysseus was said to have been given a taste to aid his cunning mind, much to Athena's annoyance. Several other silvertongued males escaped the glare of the Panthenon, before it was taken from Aphrodite. As punishment, she was forced to take a mortal blacksmith by the name of Haephestus as her husband, which only served her fine. She commissioned a girdle from him to bolster her powers, and with it, soon realized she could image men and women to her pleasure. Mortals weren't worth it, but she did use it on the demigods, like Hercules, to help out.... down there.

Personality:
Aphrodite is carefree, often too much at times. She enjoys pleasure, almost to the point that she becomes overly careless. Still, Aphrodite wants nothing more than to sit back and enjoy life as it comes, commanding pleasure and catering towards her pet toys, which rarely coincides with the duties of the others. In fact, the only thing that Aphrodite really is serious about is pleasure, much like the head of a brothel is concerned over repeat customers. She tends to help the rest relax, giving massages or whatever else they desire. Unlike Hera's dominant personality, or Athena's intelligent strength, Aphrodite tends to be rather shy, if not timid around her sisters, which has only escalated the tension after such things as troy.
