Murder is regarded wrong in most countries and relegions
However if someone is in the army, or in a war they are commended for the death of another human.
It isn't implied as murder, or manslaughter. And yet they are ending a persons life, and if anyone else was to do so they would face criminal charges.

The soldiers can't possibly be blamed. They are fighting to defend their country, which is admirable. I guess the issue is the leaders who start the wars instead of talking things out like adults. They are the ones that forced the soldiers to kill in the first place. But violence is not the answer. Why don't they get that? sad

that is just another reason why i couldn't join the army, and all the money they want to throw at you wasn't going to change that. i couldn't ever do that to another person, and it's basically calling in an assasin to take care of your problems. but whatever, like the government cares what the public has to say.

Why cant humans try bloodless war?
its a type of war that revolves around no killing (except for assassinations)
siege, army wide bouts with the loser stepping out of the battle etc ........ this invloves no loss of life but you still get to have a victor
my religion states that so long as the empress or the council has declared war for rational reasons then its okay for the killing and that everyone even youre enmeys that died that day will enjoy a peaceful afterlife with there anscestors, but the only people you are allowed to kill are those that attack you (unless youre an assassin)

bloodless war would not work, it's just too ridiculous to change the idea of war now after 2000 years of it
the reason bloodless war would not work is simply because there will always be those people who think killing is the only way, and those people will intrust a rage through others who will join there cause, even if we tried it the progress we make will surely fall apart, someone will end up killing another, prisoners will still be taken, and eventually war will become a hate filled bloodlust desire to take control and dominancy

I have to agree that although bloodless war is a truly wonderful theory, it would be unlikely to work in practice. The fact is that even if it worked at first, eventually some one (and probably more than one someone) would want revenge, and they'd kill to get it. And then you have your sadists and the human element of greed, and anger management problems, and it just gets really unrealistic. Besides which, most people wouldn't feel secure if war was bloodless. After all, the idea of "making one pay with blood" has been around for thousands of years; people have gotten used to the idea of "an eye for eye and a tooth for a tooth." If most people were sensible and opposed to unnecessary violence (necessary being self-defense or the elimination of someone homicidal), the idea might have a chance to work. But most people aren't, and it's sad.

its worked for my religion and ......... ugh nvm
anyway, but then agian i cant imagine enough people becoming part of my religion for that tye of war to become a common thing, i could tell you a couple diffrent things about bloodless war etc but id rather not sense id start a fight over people asking me what i ment xp

All I really have to say is that people need to die. The world is overpopulated as it is and it's not getting any better. It may sound cruel and lifeless but it's true. Also, (and im not directing this towards anyone) but soldiers who go out and risk thier lives for their country should not be talked as if they are a murderer. Yeah, they end a life. But would it be better to not kill them, so that they can just come right in and kill us?

It would be nice if humans had a Population set, but humans are not advanced enough to bio engineer a Population set so yaaaaa and i can counter that by saying that there are not enough deaths resulting from wars to weigh out the income of population
Actually the only defenition of homicide (murder) is someone killing another person, so all soldiers that kill are murders, but they were orderd to so that negates almost everything sense they had no choice, or else they could have been killed or gooten in trouble, i just wish that humans would see that violence is not the asnwer to everything, yes they are protecting there country in a way, but i can point out a few countrys that have gone past that and only used the word defence to justify other motives rolleyes
