October Clan Photography Contest: Spooky! Or Autumn! VOTE NOW! Vote for two from each category!!
Rules:1) Pictures: You may submit 2 photos for this contest.
2) You may submit photos taken by yourself, your friends, or your family.
(But you have to tell us who took the photo. If the photo is not your own you must have the owner's permission)3) APPROXIMATE Size Limits: MAXIMUM: 800 X 600 pixels (on photobucket this is a "15 inch screen")
MINIMUM: 400 X 300 pixels
(note: size does not have to be exact, if the picture fits on the screen you are okay, I will let you know if there is a problem)4) Uploading: You can upload your photos wherever you like, as long as we can all see the photos without signing up for anything, and you can display the pictures here with bb code.
5) As Always all photos must be within gaia's rules and terms of service.Rewards: As usual we will go with a thank you letter for the winner of each category!Deadlines: Submitting Photos: Last day for submitting photos will be October 31st.
Voting/Judging: from November 1st to November 20th. THEME FOR THE CONTEST: THEME 1: Spooky!

In this contest we will allow unlimited photo editing, so long as the original picture you started from is one you own,

You can use clipart you find on the internet or your computer and insert it into your photos if you like.

We would like to see the original photo too.

In the background is a boy dancing or playing, or whatever hes doing! These images could not be seen with the naked eye, but our Gauss meter was screaming so I snapped this pic and this is what I got!!! The original has not been altered, so if you want to see them, youll have to get close up to see them! We propped her on a large foam tombstone (four feet high) and covered her with sheetrock mud and paint mixed together. I love it. If they edit it a good deal, seeing the original as well would be fun. Looks good to me. Maybe emphasize that they MUST have PERMISSION to use the photos. I know it seems obvious, but I'm always amazed how many people, don't even think about those things till they're told to. Give credit and ask permission from the person who owns the photo. For editing purposes, it would probably be ok to use cliparts and things, but keep track of where you got any images used for editing. (like if they wanna superimpose a skull or something on the image)

This contest is going to be hard! I have pics of real ghosts but theyre not spooky! It will take a lot of creativity to make them spooky! Lol!

It will take a lot of creativity to make them spooky! Lol! lol you would be surprised at how easily a photo can become spooky if you change it to black and white.

Im sorry, I planned to enter until you said the pictures could be altered. I have photos of real ghosts but they are not "spooky," and I do not know how to add things to them. My daughters and I have tried working with them, but they just do not look good. I guess I wont be entering this one. Sorry.

Please DO enter! Altered images are fine, but images of real ghosts, even if they look much less impressive, are spookier because they're real! Plus I'd LOVE to see them!
