Faust In A Nutshell ~His Bio~ 
Gender: Male.
Age: A few months.
Stage: Gryphon! ><
Weight: Not quite sure.. >>;
Height: Erm, shorter than me? xp Probably around mid-thigh area, with the height of his antlers.
Sounds: Faust can make a few pretty basic sounds. His most common is a deep chirp, though higher chirps can be made. Grumbling noises, clicks, screeches, whirrs, humms and a rather loud sound that is remenicent of a foghorn (Oo; ) are just a few other sounds he can make. The foghorn sound is only made when Faust is extreemly distressed, or frightened.
Fur: Faust has soft, thick, tan and white fur.
Feathers: Faust has thick white, red, and dark crimson feathers.
Eyes: Faust has a set of black or dark brown eyes. They are circled by a few bright red feathers.
Description: Faust is a gorgeous gryphon. He has soft, thick, tan fur on his rump, back, back set of legs, and a little bit on his front set. Faust also has white fur, which is also soft and thick. The white fur however, covers his back set of hooves (Like small socks), his stomach, and most of his front set of legs. His ears are covered in this soft white fur as well.
His tail is short and fluffy, it is able to move, but not much.
On Faust's back are a pair of large, white wings, that bear a few dark crimson feathers scattered throughout them. His neck and head are covered with the same dark crimson feathers, which are also surprisingly soft.
He has a black beak, which has soft tan tissue inbetween it and the feathers above. His black eyes are surrounded by a few bright red feathers and just behind them, his dark tan antlers stick out. A little bit further back, are the soft, mobile ears.
Faust's hooves are sectioned, and have four parts to them, almost like toes, and are very useful for gripping the ground he walks on.
Personality: Faust is a very curious gryohon. He likes to know what practically everything is, especially if he thinks that specific thing is special. Not only is he curious, he's very energetic. Most of the time he's in motion, but when he isn't, you can be assured that he'll be paceing on the spot. His being energetic has made him impatient, but most of the time he can wait.
Faust has an independant streak, and usually likes to try things himself the first time, and the second time, and sometimes the third time. He's very determined most of the time, and assistance is not always appreciated, however a slight push in the right direction is fine.
Faust likes the occasional challenge, and will usually accept it with great excitement no matter what it is.
Likes: Blueberries, certian seemingly random articles of nature (Rocks, stars ect.), running, finding out about random things, playing with his friends, cooking, and being outside.
Dislikes: Stairs, grass, bread.
Job: Cook; Though neither of us has figured it out yet. ^^;;

The Two From Whence He Came ~Animal Info~  Name:Ptarmigan
Scientific Name: Lagopus leucurus
Average Size: Small, only 12-13 inches long, the males are slightly larger than the females.
Weight: Their average weight is 12-15 ounces.
Lifespan: The maximum lifespan of a Ptarmigan is unknown, but it is
known that 36-50 days too finish the Fledgling stage.
Diet: The winter and autumn diet is mostly willow buds and Ptarmigans cannot survive in an area in winter without them. Birch, alder, and catkins are also eaten during the winter and autumn. During spring the diet changes to berries, insects, and the leaves and flowers of several forbes, but the willow buds still remain vital. When Summer rolls about, the menu of Ptarmigans changes once again. Caterpillars, beetles, and assorted vegtables become what they most commonly eat.
Habitat: High mountains above 1,000m among the boulders and scree.
Sounds: The Ptarmigan makes a variaty of sounds. Ranging from gargaling, to screaming, to croaking noises.
Flight: Ptarmigan are quite agile, and the males have defensive aerial contests. Once a Ptarmigan nests, it is not to say that it will be permenant. They move around very quickly, switching nests with others of their kind, and building new nests, only to leave them in a few days. (This habit stops, of course, if eggs are laid.)
Name: Reindeer
Scientific name: Rangifer tarandus
Average size: Reindeer range in height from 87 to 140 cm (34 to 55 in) tall at the shoulder.
Weight: The weight of a female varies between 60 and 170 kg. In some subspecies of reindeer, the male is slightly larger; in others, the male can weigh up to 300 kg
Lifespan: Longevity is about 15 years in the wild, 20 in captivity.
Diet: Summer food is grass, sedges, green leaves of shrubs and
new growth of larch, willow, and birch; mushrooms are sought in late summer. In winter, metabolism slows, and reindeer rely on high-carbohydrate lichens called reindeer moss, which they reach by digging craters in the snow.
Habitat: Found in the Arctic tundra and adjacent boreal forests of Greenland, Scandinavia, Russia, Alaska, and Canada.
Fur: The fur of a Reindeer is very unique. It traps air inside, and thus makes the Reindeer insulated, and more bouyant.
Hooves: The hooves of a Reindeer are wide, and when swimming, help it move along quickly. The Reindeer is also a very strong runner, the width and grip of the hooves makes it easy for them to run about. My Insanity ~Family Bios~ Karma: She's the guardian and caretaker of Faust, and the rest of the family.
IC Info: Karma looks to be about 20 years old, has short, flipped out silver hair, and wears a pair of glasses. (She partially blinded herself in her 60's style room.) While she is very passionate about cooking, she never really managed to get into it professionally due to her job.

I Remember When... ~Memories~
June 19, 2006:
Faust dragged me outside for a bit of fresh air, and it?s a good thing he did because we ended up meeting up with Emiko and Blanche, whom we?ve been writing to back and forth.
June 18, 2006:
And so continues the flying lesson saga. Faust learned how to hover from flat ground today, but he seemed rather frustrated when Naima understood the whole flying thing quicker than he did.
June 16, 2006:
Faust accidentally ends up hovering off of the couch. Could this be the start of a long series of flying lessons? Well, there are theories? Anyway, but later that day we received a reply from Air and Oleo, and ended up dropping by their cabin for a visit! Faust and Oleo had a couple of races, ending with Oleo accidentally slamming into a wall. Ouch.
April 16, 2006:
When looking out at the garden, Faust unexpectedly finds a mini-gryph, she was dubbed Naima.
April 13, 2006:
Faust is bored on a rainy day, and explores the bathroom, only to find out that the sparkly yellow gel-stuff that smells like jam, isn?t jam. AT ALL. It was toothpaste, and he got covered in it. Thankfully, it came off quite easily with some water and some good scrubbing. Though a few of his feathers fell out and now reside in the front of the journal.
April 9, 2006:
Faust meets Air and Oleo, and we all go on an adventure through the forest, climbed trees, and collected more berries.
March 26, 2006:
Faust received an oversized plushie from Emiko and Blanche (Our next-door neighbours.) which he now uses as a bed instead of half of my futon. That same day, Faust and I make some blueberry jam to send over to Emi, Blanche and Toby?s letter, as well as some for ourselves.
February 4, 2006:
Faust learned about the wonders of gravity and found his first arch-nemesis? The ladder. Though later on in the day he learned how to walk down, and up stairs and the ladder. After triumphing over the steps, and venturing into the forest on the other side of Ar?Idil, Faust found, ate, and picked some berries.
January 10, 2006:
Faust emerged from his jar! He's now a bouncing, chirping wonderful not-so little gryphon!
January 9, 2006:
Faust's jar began to glow in Sanar's hands!
January 6, 2006 - ???:
After deciding that sitting on my butt all day wasn't going to do me or Faust any good at all, I made a trip down to the tower far behind the Lodge. There Faust and I met Chao and Sanar!
January 4, 2006:
Anthony came, and my artifacts have been named Faust! They're also in one jar now! Faust is predicted to be 82% male!
January 4, 2006:
I recieved another letter saying that Anthony would like to meet me and place the artifacts in one jar!
January 3, 2006:
I recieved the Official Document saying that my Aerandir artifacts are 82% likely to be male! It also said that with time, they will merege! I can't wait, I must reply soon!
January 2, 2006:
I have finally managed to get the whole cabin cleaned up! Mind you, there is still some ash floating around, but that's okay. It'll go away eventually.
December - , 2005:
A volcano erupted! It was scary, everyone had to go to the lodge. The ground was shaking, and when it was over, Ar'Idil was covered with ash! After a bit of exploring, we found that Ar'Idil was joined to two other islands via a sandbar! Now what remains to be done is fixing the damage.
December 17, 2005:
I finally got off the ferry, (With some help from a staff member) and made it to my lodgings. I've set up the hut, and now have to go out to get some food
November 27- December 17, 2005:

I can barley believe it, I'm an Aerandir guardian! I am so excited! I recieved the two artifacts today and became an official guardian!

This is my Aerandir in it's first stage! I just got it and I simply cannot wait to watch him or her. Right now the artifacts are in two separate jars, so that they don't get injured while I'm moving into the lodgings. I wonder what they will look like later on.
January 4, 2006 - January 9, 2006
After fixing up my cabin from the eruption, Anthony came by and placed my artifacts into a single jar! It has an 82% chance of being male, so his name is Faust.
January 9, 2006 - January 10, 2006
While I was speaking to Chao, Sanar started off with Faust. It was then that his jar started to glow! It's so pretty! This means he's going to emerge soon, I can't wait!
January 10, 2006 - ???
Almost immediatly after he started to glow, Faust became a fog-like substance, and flew out of the jar! After ploping on the ground he assumed his current form! He's so gorgeous and awesome! ><

Treasures Found Throughout The House ~Gifts and Posessions~ 
-This is the ticket I recieved when I was officially accepted as an Aerandir guardian. It is actually a ferry pass to the islands.
-This is a rather large hand-sewn star from Emi! It's a gift for Faust, and as far as I know, he absolutally adores it, and uses it much like a bed. (So now I have the whole futon!)
-This is Naima, a mini-gryph that Faust found, somewhere in the backyard. I have no idea where she came from, nut she sure likes her beauty sleep and catnaps. She even took some of my extra clothed hostage and used them as a 'nest'!
-This is one of the feathers (A mostly crimson one from his wings, as you can see.) that Faust accidentally lost when he got himself covered in lemon toothpaste. I managed to get it cleaned off, and now it resides safley in the journal. (See page three entry twelve.)
-This is an absolutally adorable picture of Faust in his gryphon stage drawn by o-Raichu-o, infinite amounts of love and adoration go to her because of it. <3 She drew one of each Aerandir in thier gryphon stage, they're all amazingly cute.

Sanar-
She clicks like me! And she looks kinda like the big people that pet me.
She's a very sweet young girl, and has a strange affinity for shiney things (Including Faust's previous jar.) and tearing apart clothing. I hope we'll be able to meet again sometime.
Chao-
She was the lady with Sanar, I don't really know her though.
Chao was very nice, and helpful! We had a nice chat about Sanar, Faust, and Aerandir in general. She was the first person I met after the eruption.
Oleo-
He's really fast, it's fun to race with him!
Oleo's definatly very energetic, and fast. He nearly gave me a heart attack when he slammed into that wall though. I'm glad he's alright.
Air-
She's really nice, and she pets me!
A wonderful friend, she was lots of fun to talk to, and climb with. She certainly has her hands full with Oleo though, but I know she can handle it.
Blanche-
She seemed kinda scared of me at first, but that's okay. She's the most colourful Aerandir I've ever met, and she can make 'pay-par' change colours by walking on it!
She's certainly a cute little Aerandir. I've heard that she's grown, and I hope that Emi, Faust, Blanche and I will all be able to meet again.
Emiko-
She's the guardian of the colourful Aerandir, right?
We've been penpals for a while now, I'm so glad that we could finally meet up. I hope we can do it again sometime soon.

The Days Come And Gone ~RP Log~ Note: While I was away on my ginormous hiatus-ey thing, I came up with about 20 or so different entries to write for Faust as a gryphon. @@; Frightening, I know. Now, I've posted a few, and I'm planning to cut quite a few out as well (Then move them into child stage entries.) but I still have some left to write. So. Until these entries have been finished, in the journal Faust is still going to be a gryphon, even though he's technically a child. o-o If that made any sense.This, too, will be filled in once Faust's journal is updated, re-vamped and re-formatted. >.o
