The official gym of Viridian City. It is based on Ground-type Pokémon. The Gym Leader is Giovanni, the head of Team Rocket. Trainers who defeat him receive the Earth Badge.

Neoixan tries to enter but it's closed, "WHAT?!?!!??!" She's outraged, "I DIDN'T COME ALL THIS WAY FOR THE GYM TO BE CLOSED!!!" She tries kicking the door, then after pacing back and forth she decided to go back. Fine, I'll just go train. He'll be sorry!!!

Cadi walked in and looked the gym leader square in the eye. She heard rumors from her father who he was.. "I challenge you!!" He laughed and sent out his first pokemon. Rhyhorn (Lv.45) Cadi sent in lv 69 Rapidash. (auto win - over 15 lvs higher)
