actually ive had several games go thrugh the washer machin and all work perfect.
there is a slight difference
Washing machines are a stream-like current, versus just dropping it in a puddle
the stream-like motion does little, but timely effect versus the puddle's still-motion flooding in and collapsing the interal circut busses
ie: if you held youself under water in one place, you'd soon drown, but if you were moving with the current you could force yourself back up with almost no effort
same is true with cartridge video games...
