Louisa had got to class early and managed to find her seat easily enough. This was far from her favourite class. She wasn't really interested in it but she found her desk and sorted her stuff out, getting out the appropriate books and then having her notebook and pens out to. She hated to be late or not prepared for a lesson and it meant that she could chat before the lesson started if need be.

Her desk was by the wall and near the back which meant most of the time she could pretend to be writing things down while doodling or doing something that wasn't listening. She wasn't good at this lesson and though she did enjoy some lessons she really wasn't that academic. It wasn't that she was dumb or stupid, just that she lost interest so quickly that she seemed to get lower grades then she would have liked.

Today she had got her stuff out and started doodling, the assembly that was severely disrupted was still playing on her mind as was her interview with Franz. The whole senshi thing was just... she didn't know what to make of it and so on her paper she doodled a really ugly monster and what looked like a reasonably pretty girl. Louisa didn't even notice when other people started to come in, if she had she would have quickly covered the doodle up. She didn't want anyone thinking she was weird, especially when she tried so hard to fit in all the time.

Pierrette was often announced fifteen seconds before her entrance by the jingling and clinking of bells and charms. When she walked in, the source of the noise was obvious. Clipped to the top of her skirt was a large train of homemade plush charms with little jingle bells wrapped around their necks like a collar.

She looked from one side of the room to the other, and smiled when she saw the classroom's built-in kitchen.

"This must be the Home Economics room!" she squealed in a very French accent, "I'm in the right area!" She shuffled towards the desks closest to the built-in kitchen, which happened to be in the back of the room. The only free seat was the seat next to Louisa's seat, and she frowned since she couldn't be near the teacher if she had questions or translation problems.

Still, her smile was bright when she walked to the desk and sat her book-bag next to the seat.

"Hi!" she said to Louisa as she extended her hand, practically bouncing on the balls of her feet, "My name is Pierrette!"

Louisa had heard the girl come in and if it wasn't for the strange noise she wouldn't have looked up but she hadn't a clue what was making the noise and so she had hid her doodles away and watched as the girl came over to her.

"Hi, it's nice to meet you, I am Louisa." She smiled at the girl wondering what her accent was. "I hope you don't mind me asking but where are you from?" She didn't want to come across rude or anything but the girls accent was interesting and she wasn't sure that she had heard it before.

It was always nice to meet someone new and though Louisa wasn't about to try and pronounce this girls name in case she got it wrong she was eager to learn something about her. Louisa couldn't help but wonder about all the bells and charms, they seemed a little strange but she could ask about them later, she didn't want to come across too annoying to start with.

A blush came over Pierrette's features as she laughed, "Oh, is my accent too strong? I'm sorry if it's hard to understand, I'm an exchange student from France!"

She sat down and plopped her group of stuffed animal charms on her desk.

"I was initially looking at this city for its Crystal Academy, but it was so too expensive and I liked the idea of going to a normal Destiny City school instead of a fancy private one..." She had to pause a few times to make sure that she was saying the right words, but overall her grasp at the language was good.

Pierrette looked over at Louisa, "So, have you been in Destiny City your whole life? It looks like a very nice city, except for those strange terrorist attacks..."

"Oh no its not too strong, I can understand it just surprised me again, sorry! It must be really different here compared to France." She smiled hoping that she hadn't at all offended the girl. She looked at the charms and had to literally bite her tongue to stop herself asking about them. She didn't think it was appropriate to mention them yet.

"Oh? Did you not like Crystal?" Louisa knew the school was expensive and hadn't even thought about what the school was like. Everyone 'knew' what the school was like and well every school had their reputation.

"I have lived here as long as I can remember. It is a lovely city and those terrorist attacks... I wouldn't worry about them, there are rumours that they are calling it terrorist as a cover up. I am sure you will catch up on all the gossip soon enough though!" She smiled at the girl. This french girl seemed really nice and rather easy to talk to once you got use to the accent, it was strange hearing it, she hadn't heard a french accent before.

"Oh, no offense!" Pierrette shook her head vigorously from side-to-side, her curls practically smacking her in the face each time.

"I didn't see that much of Crystal Academy, but it is a boarding school, right?" Pierrette fiddled with one of her stuffed charms, "I wanted to live inside a real Destiny City house, not in a dorm. You can find dorms in any country, but a real house has more culture, right?"

She paused and stared at Louisa as she spoke, her eyes widening. It was almost like she went completely blank for a moment, and then she suddenly snapped back to attention and pulled out her digital dictionary.

"Gossip..." she mumbled as she typed quickly. With a quick nod she looked back at the other girl like none of that had happened.

"But, why would the government lie to us about something so important?" she looked worried, "Do they do that often? I thought their duty was to protect us..."

Louisa smiled and nodded her head in agreement.

"Fair enough I suppose you are right, though surely dorms aren't the same in ever country?" Louisa was sure they weren't after all they must be really plain if they were and she found it hard to imagine anything at Crystal being plain.

Louisa suddenly looked really confused and was about to ask if the girl was okay until she then started moving and talking again. How random. She wasn't sure whether to ask if she was alright or not, she seemed fine.

"Well the government might be protecting us from the wrong thing? Or they don't know either? There are enough rumours you will get to hear about them all soon enough I am sure. You will find that many talk about it." She smiled at Pierrette, "I wouldn't worry too much though after all rumours from people including the government can be just that. Rumours."

Pierrette peeked up every now and then from her digital dictionary, where she was looking up the word 'rumor'.

"I'll do my best not to worry," Pierrette smiled nervously, "To be honest, it is a little exciting, though." She said the last words in a hushed tone, almost like she was embarrassed to admit it.

She decided to go off of that subject by looking around at the built-in kitchen and the wall filled with sewing machines.

"This is such a nice classroom! I hope we do lots of crafting... I also want to improve my baking skills so I can make lots and lots of pretty cakes!"

She pointed down at her charms, "I made all of these... I want to get even better at sewing them."

Louisa smiled and chuckled a little as Pierrette mentioned it being exciting. It kind of was exciting really. Though Louisa noticed that she seemed to want to change the subject so let it drop.

"Yeah the classroom isn't too bad." She wasn't overly bothered by it. It was a classroom after all! It was the same as most though what Pierrette said suddenly caught her attention.

"You made them? Wow you are really clever, I could never make anything like that!" Okay so the charms all made a lot of sense now. Louisa really admired her, after all she really couldn't make anything like that.

"Yeah!" Pierrette's eyes twinkled. She unhooked the charms from her waist and spread them out over her desk. There were countless numbers of animals, from dogs to butterflies and even a little spider.

"I love making them, for every occasion and every holiday! My friends back in France are all starting to get little collections of their own. I can't help it, I love making them... I really put my heart into it."

Her smile only got bigger.

"Maybe someday I can make one for you, too!"

Louisa looked at them all there were so many.

"They really are amazing, you are so clever! Could you show me how to make one?" Louisa really was interested in them, yes she didn't think they were that good at first but that was before she had been told that this girl made them. Now they were really interesting.

"Oh I would love you to make me one!" Louisa really did want want now.

"Can you make me one of my cat? Oh or my degus?" She smiled at Pierrette wondering whether it was possible to make them of her pets, of course it meant that Pierrette would have to come over her house but Louisa wouldn't mind she was starting to really like this girl she was so interesting!

Pierrette's smile grew nervous when she said, "I'm not too sure what a Degus is..."

But it only took an instant for her to brighten up again.

"I love cats, though! I'd be happy to make one of a cat, that's easy!"

She happily laughed, but stopped when the teacher gave in.

"It looks like it's finally time for class to start," she wrung her hands, "Maybe we should talk later?"

"Oh you should come round and see them, they are such gorgeous animals!" Louisa smiled as she spoke, it had taken her ages to find degu's over here. There was one breeder who had imported some over from Europe and so she managed to get two which were sexed wrong so ended up with quite a few of them.

"Oh really? Thats great!" She was really starting to look forward to getting this cat, she really envied Pierrette's skill in making the charms.

Louisa looked up as the teacher started talking and made an annoyed face. She was enjoying talking but it was a lesson. Oh how lessons could be annoying sometimes. She just nodded at Pierrette and opened her notebook ready for the lesson.
