I found a website online that actually gives free lessons for learning spanish. At first it just looks like a spanish/english dictionary translator, but it actually has numerous video lessons with flashcards and writing and listening tools. Check it out if you want to learn spanish on your own, otherwise just stick with your classes. SpanishDict

I definitely recommend http://www.LiveMocha.com for some great audio recordings if you have problems pronouncing some of the words.
