It used to be known as crack park...until the cops cracked down on it. Now, St.Eva's largest park is a nicer place to visit. With a fair sized lake and some fancy play ground equipment it's become fairly enjoyable. Some areas of the park, however are still not the best to go into at night, particularly the more woodsy side. St.Eva is known for very large, and rather violent chipmunks.

The park was full, the park was active, and it was in the middle of the day...so when Roxanna warped from her exploding house bath-tub into the public park lake, she was a little afraid of getting out. There were a number of ducks around her and a few fish swimming by her legs....and a prominent "no swimming" sign just a stone's throw away. She was entirely mortified.

Jarred smiled as he walked out from the shade cast by an overhang of trees. Rex trotted close to his side, Eva either having no leash laws, or Jarred simply not caring. Rex was trained enough to not eat babies, that's about as good as it gets.
He walked down the paved path, bikers and hikers going various ways before he paused near the lake, Rex's ears perking up. Rex took off running towards the lake, what Jarred assumed was a want to chase the ducks.
Rex dove into the lake noisily, swimming for Roxanna.

Roxanna saw the dog coming and let out a long groan. "No, boy, no. Go away. Go!" She made shooing motions with her hands, but quickly stopped as she noticed someone following after the dog, hoping not to draw attention to herself.

Eulalia Danae Roxanna saw the dog coming and let out a long groan. "No, boy, no. Go away. Go!" She made shooing motions with her hands, but quickly stopped as she noticed someone following after the dog, hoping not to draw attention to herself. "Rex! What are you going after, the ducks are- Oh!" Jarred paused as he saw Rex bump into someone, licking Roxanna's face. "Rex, um, right." Jarred frowned. ""Umm.. here boy, let the lady swim."

Roxanna spluttered slightly as the large dog began licking her face. She made a slight noise, giving him a gentle shove away. She had never been good with dogs, and despite his friendliness the size of Rex was particularly intimidating.
Her eyebrows rose slightly as she got a better view of the dog's owner. "Jer...no, Jarred. It's Jarred isn't it?" She asked. She was about to stand up in the water, but quickly brought herself back down. "Could I ask a favor of you?"

Jarred raised an eyebrow. "Mrs, er, Ms. Corey? Why are you in the lake, and," he glanced around, noting that while the situation had drawn little attention, there were still people about, "as you are?"
Rex was content to stay afloat next to Roxanna, swimming circles around her.

"I am the unfortunate result of a prank?" She said, hoping to find some kind of excuse for her situation. She kept her arms close around her top, and watched the dog warily as he swam circles around her, her mind thinking in terms of sharks. "Is he nice?" She asked, watching Rex closely.

"Hell of a prank." He frowned, glanced around, and removed his shirt. "Ok, so how do you want to do this?" He frowned, casually tossing the shirt out to her. It was a big shirt, especially for someone with as small a frame as her, so it would cover the bare essentials, but only just. With his shirt off, the scar on Jarred's back was plainly obvious, long and deep, from hip to shoulder.

"There are some very cruel people in the world." Roxanna stated, deciding not to go into detail with the prank any further. Cruel people had just blown up her house as well, so she accredited her little lie to them as well. She made a small sound of relief as Jarred tossed over the shirt, but frowned as it got caught up in some of the lake weeds in the more shallow parts of the water. She moved to it quickly, pulling it on as fast as she could with hope that if anyone saw much, they'd only see it for a short time.
With the shirt on, she started moving out of the water, and finally gave notice to the evident scar on Jarred's back. "Would it be rude of me to ask?" She said, glancing at the scar.

Roxanna nodded, remaining silent on the matter as they walked quickly through the parking lot. She heard a few snickers, but nothing else. From most appearances it looked like some romantic interlude at an awkward and public place. She was almost grateful for that, as it kept the truth hidden for the most part. "Thank you, for the help, and the shirt." She said as they reached the parking lot. She glanced back at Rex giving the dog a slight nod in thanks, not particularly sure how to interact with him otherwise.

"I think you may be the first millionaire to walk around naked and not have anyone notice." Jarred mused as he got to his Cayenne SUV, holding the door open for her, turning his back while she climbed in. He pressed a button on the remote, the trunk popping, Rex hopping in as Jarred got in the driver's seat.
"Fair to say that could have gone a lot worse."

"You have no idea." Roxanna said, leaning back against the seat. She let out a long breath. "I'm assuming people didn't recognize me, or at least I'm hoping they didn't. I don't know if I can afford dealing with another story in the news like the incident with the school pool."

Jarred pulled out of there quickly.
"Was that another prank then?" He smiled, heading towards he ritzy part of town. "How do you keep falling for these skinny-dipping in public places pranks, if you don't mind my asking?"
