i've been having a play and seeing if i can produce some decent banners to go with the lovely animated on that Nibbles has made for us, you can proclaim your affiliation with the guild by copy and pasting the link into your profile signature 3nodding

I'm simply trying to find British images here, that may pique other people's interest if they see them in your signature when you post elsewhere, then they can click on the banner and it will bring them here so they can have a look and see if they want to join.
Can anyone tell me how you shrink images using Paint?
Nibbles told me how to enlarge images, but with a pixel limit of 200x40 for the small guild banner i need to know about shrinkage too.
They don't need to be oblong for adding to signatures though, just not too big, so i'll see what else i can dredge up out of Google images blaugh

i'm finding a fair amount of suitable sized images actually, i didn't think i would, i will be so pleased with myself when i finally work out how to do it all myself! i feel like a bit of a dumbo at the moment confused

yay!! i've got one to work, i've hosted it through Photobucket instead of Tinypic, so now i'm going to try and see it it will work with the clickable links sweatdrop
