Secret Santa
I, Inyasha_Jack believe that Christmas is more about being with the ones that you care about, and exchanging gifts; not a fat man with an ugly beard giving you presents. I resent that. HO HO HO. So, for my version of the Christmas event, I thought that we should do a version of "Secret Santa." Here's how it works:
If you'd like to participate, PM me. The people who PM me will include what their second Christmas wish is, first being what Santa MIGHT be getting you. Then, I will randomly assign all who are participating someone else's wish. It's their job to get the gift that they are assigned. Once they get the gift, they giftwrap it, and leave a clue on the wrapping as to who bought the present. Send the gift to me, and come Christmas, I'll give it to the designated person. They have to guess who gave them the gift, according to the clue. If they guess correctly, they get a Christmas 2005 item. razz
Here's a quick example, if you're confused:
Spamster and Hooey PM me; they want to participate. Spamster wants a Sealed, and Hooey wants an "In Da Hood" Necklace. I, Inuyasha_Jack, assign Hooey to get Spamster's gift, and Spamster to get Hooey's gift.
Spamster has until Christmas to get Hooey his necklace; Hooey has until Christmas to get Spamster his Sealed. Once they get eachother's gifts, they giftwrap it. Spamster might put a rhyme on his: "Roses are red, Violets are blue, they put me on hamburgers, and I'm sticky, too. MERRY CHRISTMAS!" See? That was a clue from Spamster. Get it? He's spam?

It's Hooey's job to find out. SPAMSTER/ANYONE ELSE WHO KNOWS CANNOT TELL HOOEY WHO GAVE HIM HIS GIFT. That's not fair. That totally ruins the event that has been worked upon to prepare.
If Hooey PM's me saying "OMG SPAMSTER GAVE ME A GIFT?" then he'll get a 2005 Christmas item.
Sound fun? I hope so.

Rules and Timeline
Rules
1. No spoiling the fun. That means: don't tell your assigned person that they're assigned to you, don't send your partner a ghost sheet and expect a Sealed from who's getting you a present...etc. Common sense.
2. Don't ask for expensive gifts. ~5K is good. It's enough that Santa's gonna have to pour out 300K+... (Which I'm glad to do) ...but don't be greedy. This is Christmas, not Toys R Us.
3. Don't make my job more difficult than it already is. If you want a gift, feel free to ask for it. But don't change your gift, or ask for 5 different gifts, or spam my inbox.
3. Have fun!
Regarding Giftwrapped-Clues
1. Not too easy, not too hard. EASY rolleyes My name starts with an S, ends with a T, and I own The Wishing Well. Merry Christmas! Love, Spamster! ;D Not only was the clue INCREDIBLY EASY, I also wrote my name on it. Waaaaay too easy. Avoid at all costs. HARD eek Through the vast, enchanted woods, lay I, the goddess of the night. I weep with the trees and flowers, mourning over our loss of the gargantuan ant...MERRY CHRISTMAS! Uh, maybe this is Roo? xd
But c'mon, what was that? NO ONE would be able to guess. I'm not saying you can't be poetic and emo, but don't write something that you KNOW the person won't guess. Give them little hints. Not big words.

November 28th, 2005 - People who want to participate can PM/post their wanted items, and agree to the fact that they'll get someone else a ~5K gift.
December 10th - Deadline for anyone who wants to participate.
December 10th - Every participant will be assigned another participant to get a gift for. biggrin
December 20th - All presents are due, to Inuyasha_Jack's account. If you're having trouble getting the gift, PM Spamster. Otherwise, you should have a gift ready for December 20th.
December 24th - Presents are distributed to the assigned people.
December 25th+ - Guesses will be taken.
