Hmmm I like FFX a lot but older ones like FF7 and FF8 are really cool too!

Even though I've played only 2 FF games (FFX and FFX-2) I say that the best Final Fantasy game out there is FFIII. Why?...because it has its romantic scenes. redface

I'm not sure what i like really. FFX is what got me into the final fantasy games but I liked 8,9, and 10.. I have yet to play 7 but I've heard the plot line was awesome.

I'd have to say 6 (or 3 for the SNes). Simply because
1. The storyline kicked a**.
2. The characters were very, very in depth. and i can relate to all of them in one way or another.
3. It was awesome ^_^ very, very awesome.
4. FF7 was nothing in comparison xd
second i suppose would be 8. It was one of my first PS games and i loved it to death. ^_^ 8 rocks.
then i suppose 1, Tactics, 7, 9, X...
and that's pretty much all i've played ^_^

while i can't agree with you on point 4, the others i do agree very much with. personally, i'm really torn between VII and VIII for many reasons.
1) Squall was awesome and i can relate to him so much more than any other FF character
2) gunblade. 'nuf said
3) the storyline was absolutely AMAZING
4) the graphics was equally astonishing at the time
i loved III and VII, they are what introduced me to FF, but VIII was the one that sealed my fate as a addict.
