Paws paced quickly on the hard ground. The days seemed to be getting shorter, and the clouds were rolling in more and more each day. The red female knew it was going to pour one of these days, if not today. Though, she welcomed it. The African sun was a hardship on the land and the creatures that were in it; water on the ground would bring life to the deadening grasses and the lifeless sun-dried dirt.
Golden eyes scanned around, gazing towards the graying sky, before hurrying across the land. Although she wanted it to rain, Kota didn’t feel like being caught in the middle of it. As she thought about the rain, the memory of meeting the blue male popped into her head (probably because water had a bluish tint to it, and Maha was blue. Convinient, no?) She following her heart, she headed in a direction not knowing what would lie there.
For once Maha had started the day not watching clouds, his favorite past time, but out walking. He had a lot on his mind and while cloud-watching helped him clear his mind he wanted to actually think about the problem. Recently a lot had been on his mind and every dream, every vision held red. He couldn't sleep without thinking about the seer girl he had met just a little while ago. It wasn't a bad thing, he never felt threaten or anything, just confused.
And that was a strange feeling for him. He had prided himself on understand every situation and how to react, or solve it.
Now? Well the whole situation just left him so very confused, he was unsure of what to think or what to feel. So here he was walking out in the open perhaps right before a rain storm

She traveled up a hill, then down it only to spot the blue male walking what seemed to be aimlessly around. A smile approached her maw before a crash of thunder had shot from overhead. Shuddering, she quickly moved towards the lion. “Dontcha know it’s gonna rain?” she looked towards the darkening sky. Pour, was a better term to use. It was probably the best idea to find shelter before the weather worsened. “Come on, let’s go find shelter” Kota nudged Maha’s shoulder.
She was a persistent bugger, and there was no way she was going to let her new friend (yeah, she considered him a friend even though they had only met just a little bit ago), get sick or injured. “What are you doing out in the open anyways?”
… “Oh! And Hi Maha! Nice to see you again!”
