Me and a friend have been talking about controlling dreams and such.
I'm wondering if doing so exercizes your brain and makes things easier to understand?

Feel free to tell stories about your dreams, nightmares or worse and different times you've taken controll. mrgreen

I used to have lucid dreams when I was a kid.
Lately the closest I've come is I've had a couple nightmares about zombies.
I hate zombies. They're the scariest monster creature imo.
So the past two times when I was trapped I thought "******** no! This is a dream and I'm getting the hell out of here NOW!"
And I woke up. :3

But I've heard that it helps if you focus on something in detail in your dream.
Like, you try to read something in small print or focus on the lines in your hand.
And you won't be able to and know you're in a dream.

I've only heard that. No idea if it actually works, but it would be fun to try.

When I'm asleep, all I want to do in my dreams is sleep and go on with the show.

Last night I dreamed... My dad was giving me and my brothers a ride on his truck, when suddenly I saw a dude wearing a leprachaun costume and I said "DAD, DAD, CAN WE GIVE HIM A RIDE? : D", my dad didn't say anything, he simply stoped in front of him and hoped in and said to me "HI, HOW ARE YOU? biggrin " (I think he was british) and I replied "BIEN, GRACIAS" (beacuse I'm mexican, you know), so, after the he got into the car, my dad saw a lady in the middle of the street protesting about... something. The he, for some unknown reason, decided to run over her, and I said "DAD, YOU JUST KILLED A WOMAN D:" and then the dude wearing the leprachaun costume said (in spanish) "Don't worry, nobody liked her" then she dropped a box full of hot-dogs and I hogged them all :U

And then I woke up... yeah, I'm not sure what it all exactly means.

Somehow I have a bit of control in my dreams. Usually I have a way to fly throughout all of them but it doesn't always work right. It is just usually a feeling that is loosely tangible around my ankles. Sometimes I can also will people in my dreams to do things or make things appear but it takes more effort. My last trick is forcing myself awake by willing my eyes open. It doesn't always work and instead my nightmare makes me think I did it right and continues on. Another bad situation was when I opened a door (in my dream of course) and there was a vampire. He said something along the lines of "You can not wake yourself up now." and bit me. I pulled out just a little after but that was prolly one of the worst only because my panic button failed.

One of the best dreams I had has turned into a reoccurring element. I was in my house and there was a gas leak. So I'm trying to figure out what to do and this giant floating tiki mask floats up to me and spouts words in his language "Random Jibberish" and I ignore him even though I know exactly what he is saying. Somewhere then I bump into him and he turns into an angry floating tiki head and blows a fireball at the gas leak blowing up my house. He now pops up atleast once a month to shoot fireballs at me. If someone can tell me what the Giant Floating Tiki Head means, by all means please do.

I don't think I really have any control of my dreams except when I have a nightmare and wake myself up to end it. This doesn't happen very often though.

One of the stranger ones I've had recently was where I was sitting in the middle of my living room and I was surrounded by some of the people I have known throughout my life and I was talking with all of them. Eventually I sat down on the floor and as I did, one of them placed a small saucer of water in front of me. I pick it up and as soon as I do, I begin to levitate a few inches off the and float around the room holding the water dish. I have no idea what any of it meant, but it was certainly different.

My dreams are controlled through my experience of life, sadly. Every time I have a dream, it is like some kind of ******** moral lesson in metaphorical view.

I hear that if you take Melatonin, your dreams are like tasting a good ol' Granny ******** brownie. Those dreams are.....kinda nonsense but fun.
