Ugh what an IDIOT, why did she even keep that useless lynx around anymore anyway? True they had been together for a long time, longer then she cared to remember. Lorcan had practically been a kitten when he started to follow her. She regretted it now, letting him follow her, and then later on letting him help her hunt and bully others. The stupid lynx seemed to think that made him special, as if they shared a bond or something. Didn't he understand she was a wolf? He was a lynx? There would never be anything there, she didn't want anything from him but his occasional assistance during a hunt.
She snarled and shook off walking onward into the sparse forest trying to cool her temper before she went back and killed the feline. What was wrong with the world? Do gooders and lovey dovey wolfs abound, and scraping your meal or stepping on another to get ahead was frowned upon. How foolish that they should frown upon the base instinct to survive...or had they all forgotten that in their cushy little packs? She didn't have a pack to hunt for her or coddle her, she took what she wanted and needed and didn't answer to anyone for that.
Her ears perked and her lips lifted to expose her fangs in a snarl, another was nearby.

Stretching he stood up from where he had been laying and shook out the grass from his fur, Skaara yawned and blinked at the sunlight for a few minutes as he slowly woke up from his nap. Wondering out from under the tree his ears twitched as he listened to the chatter of the animals, lifting his head he sniffed and wondered if he was hungry enough to try and hunt down some food but he quickly dismissed that idea when he picked up the scent of another wolf nearby.
Perking his ears, he followed the smell and went looking for the other wolf. It had been a while since he had the chance to interact with other wolfs, since his pack had disbanded he’d been on his own and while for the most part being alone didn’t bother him sometimes it was nice to speak with others.
When he did finally see the other wolf he blinked and cocked his head at her.
“Hello.”

Shego was a bit startled by the friendly greeting her own voice was snappish. "What are you doing here?" Her eyes sparked with green fire, she disliked a crowd. Of course two was hardly a crowd, two was company...she couldn't deny that company wasn't so bad. Still in her dark mood she wasn't in any mood to play friendly.
She wasn't about to apologize, besides the male didn't look so tough if he wanted to start something she would oblige him. Her lips lowered though slowly the snarl smoothed away and she sat back with a mild glare.

Smothering down the beginning of a smile Skaara tilted his head and looked at the female.
“Why? Am I not supposed to be here?”
Keeping a bit of a distance between them he moved a bit closer and sat down watching the strange female and wondering if this was a special occasion for if she was always this… irritated.
He watched as a bird took flight from one of the nearby trees and he followed the bird as it flew away and let his attention drift for a minute as he watched the clouds float by, bringing his attention back to earth he grinned at her.

"I suppose you can be anywhere you please..." She finally managed to snarl out annoyed at how cheerful he looked. She couldn't remember the last time she had taken some time for herself to relax, then maybe she would be smiling as well.
Her eyes narrowed as he turned away to watch the bird and a growl slid up from her throat. "Is it really THAT interesting?" She huffed softly.
Clearly he was somekind of foolish daydreamer, the kind of idiot that would probably step into a hole, break his leg, and die of starvation. The mental image made her smirk slightly.

Blinking at her Skaara grinned and wondered if there was a right answer to that question that wouldn’t result in her getting mad enough to try and take a chunk out of him.
Deciding that it was unlikely to matter he just went with it.
“Well, it’s doing more then you are at the moment.”
Backing up he crouched down and eyed her, with his tail thumping against the ground, wondering what her response would be to that comment, somehow he got the feeling it was going to be interesting.
